  1. You're all welcome. No, I didn't. I don't remember having seen any new Kingdoms sets. But I think it's very likely that we'll get some new Kingdoms sets in summer 2011. NINJAGO is no historical theme but an action theme. And Pirates of the Carribean is a "historical" theme - but I guess it'll firstly come out in summer 2011. So we regrettably can't expect another new historial theme before 2012. It had exactly the same helmet, the same sword and the same armor like the ones from the Ninja theme from 1999/2000. To me it looked like a minfigure with black pants, black torso and a gorilla head mold. I do not think that it has a different face on its back or that the gorilla face is only a mask under which you can find a regular head. But of course I do not know since that wasn't aible to be seen. Klaus-Dieter
  2. Only ordinary stuff like swords, small round thick baseplates, ... I regrettably don't remember more details. Klaus-Dieter
  3. You're all welcome. And thank you very much for frontpaging all the links to the news topics, Svelte! NEWS 1. The police station includes even a white bicycle. (How could I have forgotten this?! ) 2. If I remember right, the police mobile command center includes even a police motorcycle - but I'm not hundred percent sure on this. It's about the size of this year's airplane in 3181 - perhaps a bit smaller but with the same new cockpit piece - so it's for sure 6 studs wide. For both. To me they looked like the Space sets from the mid-ninetees but with much bigger vehicles. Nope. If I remember right, its top was big and round and the rest of its "body" was somewhere thinner and somewhere thicker. Well, that might be and even sounds reasonable. Nevertheless I think I've seen a male head print and short black hairs. Klaus-Dieter
  4. You're all welcome. I don't think so. And at the moment I'm very busy anyway. Perhaps at the end or the beginning of Sept. - but supposably we'll already have pics then anyway. Since I read over this page very quickly, I can't remember. The Gungans definately had the same head molds like the ones we saw in the Gungan Patrol set. Nevertheless bear in mind that these are only prelim pics - so TLG might add a new mold or print to the final minifigs. Klaus-Dieter
  5. Thank you very much for posting the information and link to this poll here, CopMike! A blue bicycle, a (dark-green) cypres tree and a black door without window would be brilliant! Klaus-Dieter
  6. Hello everybody! I had the big luck to get a look into the retailer's catalogue for the first half of 2011. But I can't remember having seen any PotC sets there. Two explanations: 1. I might have overread them. 2. The sets firstly will come out in the second half of 2011. Klaus-Dieter
  7. I can't remember some Toy Story sets. And PoP and Pirates of the Caribbean I don't remember to have seen, too. But I might even be wrong. Klaus-Dieter
  8. Honestly said I must admit that I'm really glad that this theme isn't a historical theme. If it was a historical theme, I supposably wanted to get the sets - but I still don't know how to get all the money for some of next year's City sets, possibly some Kingdoms sets and some possible SW OT sets. Well, since these sets are very small I bet they will be in a price range from 3 up to 5 Euros. So you can actually collect them, Mr. Elijah Timms. The minifigs seem to be exactly the same like the ones from around 2000. Klaus-Dieter
  9. You're welcome, WhiteFang. Samrai and Hawaii Girl hundred percently, elf very supposably, too. You're welcome, Rocketbilly. The alien had a mold as head. The minifig and the head looked similar to the one from the alien in 5969. But if I remember right, the alien had green eyes. You're welcome, Zorbas. If I remember right, Series 3 is green and Series 4 is orange. Klaus-Dieter
  10. No. I only overflew the page with the Atlantis sets since I'm not interested in this theme. Sorry for not being aible to help you, ---Vertea---. Klaus-Dieter
  11. Yes, exactly. No, sorry. But like already mentioned, I didn't look carefully at the new SW sets since there were only CW sets in which I'm not interested. Klaus-Dieter
  12. Grogalls Hi-res pics Board game. Some figure shots. Black gloves swapped. Dramatis Personae A .flv file of the old guy dancing. Evil background! Hello everybody! Since I had the big luck to have a look in the retailer's catalogue today, I can confirm that there'll be a new theme called "NINJAGO". I can't remember the seperate sets - but nevertheless an overview: It is not a historical theme (like the Ninja theme one of 1999/2000). It's some sort of mixture between card game and collectable minifigs. If I remember right, every set contains one Ninja (there are even Ninja in violet and orange), some extra stuff and play cards. I think there were about 9 til 18 small sets. More I do regrettably no remember. Let's discuss. Klaus-Dieter EDIT: More Pics
  13. A new Space theme was already discussed in the "Ideas for new City sets" topic and was surely sent to TLG during their call for new City sets (in 2008). Plus we know that there'll surely be a new theme in summer, too. And there even will be some seperate sets. So there are still some possibilities for civilian sets in 2011. Think even about that - even if we liked it - TLG would release all possible profitable civilian sets in one year, they would have a problem for their sales for the next time. But that TLG doesn't expand the Farm theme is truley disappointing. I'm still hoping for the "City Square" - if it's going to be released, it surely will offer us minimum two civilian buildings. Yes, NinjaGo. Topic "2011 NinjaGo sets". Indeed the new police hq and all the new police cars go hundred percently with the ones from 2008. Klaus-Dieter
  14. Thank you very much, vexorian. Don't expect a decent temple - it more looked like a setting. But imo brilliant in architecture. Klaus-Dieter
  15. You're welcome, Dr.Butcher. Regrettably not - sorry Oky Wan Kenobi. The only additional things I remember are that there was a very big thin white "ufo" with red cockpit and a shuttle looking similar to the Republic Gunship but in dark-green. Klaus-Dieter
  16. That might well be. Since the pictures of the minfigures weren't very big, it is difficult to say. But I'll add your guess to the list, too. You're welcome, Oky Wan Kenobi. I can't say so - it looked like a pan. But the more I think about it the less sence it makes ... Klaus-Dieter
  17. No, if I remember right, there isn't something similar to that. But maybe it's hidden in the rocket in the big set - although I highly doubt that since the rocket isn't that wide. On the one hand I totally agree with you, escortman79! Police sets have been repeating for decades and TLG should better invent time and money in never before released sets or in re-designs of sets which were released many, many years before. I understand that kids want police, fire, construction site and emergeny that much. And since JFOLs are TLG's main audience it's clear that they have to release some new sets of these themes every year. But - like e. g. with the Train theme - they could make the distance from 3 to four years to have more space for other themes and sets. On the other hand the new Police sets are - at least imo - a big improvement over the police sets of the last ten years. Many components are really similar but all in all the sets look more like in classic Town. And supposably it's even that I'm that excited about these Police sets since the Police sets I own are very small and some of them even in no longer in that a good condition - so I'd like to get some of the new Police sets if possible and depending on what we'll see in the second half of 2011 and for Exclusives. Yes and no. There were some in the catalogue - but since I'm not interested in Technic I didn't look at them. Sorry for not being able to help you there. Klaus-Dieter
  18. The minifigure has light blond hair and a big buckler. It's obviouly no regular archer since it doesn't have a helmet. Plus the buckler doesn't fit. Like already mentioned, I'm convinced that in its final version it'll have a new head mold with pointy ears. But of course I can be wrong, too. Mummy as the monster or as you can find it in ancient sepultures. It's enwrapped into white paper and you can see only its eyes. Klaus-Dieter
  19. Today I had much luck - I was aible to have a look in the retailer's catalogue for the first half of 2011: NEWS: 1. The "Naboo Fight" will only be some sort of bigger Battle Droid Carrier, two Gungans with blue round bricks and minimum four Battle Droids. No Padme, no other minifigure, no landscape/scenery. 2. There was a BP with a lot of grey and blue in it. This might be a BP similar to the pictures already mentioned before. Please note: Since I'm not interested in all that CW stuff and so did wanted to keep my thoughts on the sets which take interest in me, I did only have a very short look at the new six sets. So please don't ask me any further questions since I won't be aible to answer them. Thanks. 3. I got the information that there won't be any OT set in the first half of 2011 (at least not in the regular toy shops). But there will be one or more OT sets in the second wave. Personally I'm really shocked that there won't be any OT sets in the whole first half of the year. Since it's very likely that - if we'll get a Cloud City - we'll get it next year, that it'll be not as big as 10188 but nevertheless minimum that expensive like AT-OT With Dropship. So this shall give us OT fans more chances to save money. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  20. You're welcome, Rick. Well, the elf was only a minifig with regular face and very blond hair. But since these are only prelim pics I bet that in the final version it'll get a new head mold. You're welcome, Burman. Yes, there are even some more news: topics: 2011 City sets, 2011 Atlantis sets and in the SW topic. Klaus-Dieter
  21. Pics added, thanks to Prateek! Om Nom Nom Nom. Hello everybody! Sometimes you only have to have much luck. And today I had that much luck since I was allowed to look into the retailer’s catalogue for the first half of 2011. There even the new Atlatnis sets were pictured. Since I'm really no fan of Atlantis I only had a very short look at the pics: There are many red vehicles. There will be a huge set with some sort of Roman/Greek temple which's columns can collapse. And there'll be even a small set with some Roman/Greek columns. More I do not remember. I hoped I helped you. Klaus-Dieter
  22. Hello everybody! Sometimes you only have to have much luck. And today I had that much luck since I was allowed to look into the retailer’s catalogue for the first half of 2011. There even the new City sets were pictured. I of course thought that you do not want to hear what’s new – but I tell you nevetheless. Please be aware that I had no chance to take any notes or pics – so there might even be some mistakes. The minifigures from this series look absolutely amazing! Minifigure Series 3: -fisher with hinge and fish -Ferrari driver (red torso) with helmet -mummy with pan -? sumo wrestler/karate guy (yellow torso and pants) with trophy -? female dancer -samurai knight with removeable armor and samurai sword -Hawaii girl (green skirt print) with two green rattles -baseball player with baseball bat -elf with bow and big buckler -Native American chief with lance -alien with space gun -? male singer with ? micro and ? recorder -? doctor/surgeon with suitcase and ? -gorilla with banana -snowboarder with snowboard -??? Sorry for that I don't remember the one remaining minfig. Let's discuss! Btw: 1. Series 3 will already be released in January 2011. 2. There will be a series 4, too, but there were unluckily no pics of it in the retailer's catalogue. 3. Series 4 will be released in April 2011. Klaus-Dieter
  23. Let the discussion begin!
  24. Thank you very much for this information, grogall! The only thing I don't understand why there are that many minifigures of these which are surely not that demanded (like the dompteur) and only that few of those which are surely highly demanded (like the surfer) since the minifigs and the parts surely will be all about the same price to produce. Klaus-Dieter
  25. In general I agree with you, KingoftheZempk. But why then did the bandidts in the Western theme carry revolvers and guns when there is a sheriff in this theme?! Klaus-Dieter
