  1. Super curry max, I totally agree with the proposals made above. Many of the female Pirates, Castle and HP minifigs fit very well with the Western theme. And you can even change the one or other torso or pants. I'm really looking forward to your Western town - don't hesitate to share it with you here on EB! Klaus-Dieter
  2. Here are some more ideas and wishes: Fireman With Fire-Resistant Wear male white or silvern big helmet with big golden (transparent) visor perspiring white or silvern torso, white or silvern pants white or silvern air tanks (rucksack), fire drencher Fireman With Toxin-Resistant Wear male lime-green big helmet with transparent clear visor concentrated lime-green torso, lime-green pants lime-green air tanks (rucksack), exhauster for chemicals Egyptian Water Carrier male black hair perspiring white torso, white pants wooden stick with a water can on both ends of the stick Belly Dancer female covered face lime-green-golden torso, lime-green-golden pants long lime-green-golden haze Justitia Statue female grey long hair judging, grey face grey torso, grey hands, grey pants pair of balances Newspaper Seller female brown half-long hair shouting violet blouse, white pants two different newspapers Farmer male blond hair tired yellow shirt, brown boilersuit grey hayfork Farmer's Wife female blond half-long hair friendly white-blue dirndl milk can Scarecrow neutral brown hat scarey brown face wooden sticks for legs and torso, two black cloth parts (similar to the ones of the Mexican from Series 2) pumpkin, bird Ghost Cowboy male black hat scarey with light up in the dark function dark-blue shirt with black jacket, black pants black neck scarf, revolver, gun Klaus-Dieter
  3. Totally agreement in this point, squiz. Playmobil released its Roman theme first and then the Egyptian theme. So perhaps TLG does it the way around - firstly Egypts and then Romans (which would be even correct in chronology. And that would be totally amazing! The reason why TLG possible decided to release an Egyptian theme (first) is because there are much more ideas for buildings in which even the most kids are interested then in a Roman theme. (Of course kids would like a Collosseum - but even a hot springs, a Circus Maximus or a Roman farm? - In contrast pyramides, Sphinx, catacombes and different tombs and ships are really interesting for the most kids, too.) Plus a Roman theme would surely based around the Roman army - so a more agressive theme. Egypts in contrast would be a more cultural theme which is very exciting itself - it does not necessarily need soldiers and army stuff. Klaus-Dieter
  4. Oriental Myths based on stories or and/or movies (but non-licensed) like e. g. Aladin and the wonder lamp Ali Baba and the fourty robbers Since this is information on a possibly upcomming theme, please discuss this here. Klaus-Dieter
  5. Pyramides and a Sphinx will be there hundred percently. Apart from that I'd expect more or less the same like in the Adventure based Egyptian theme from around 2000 - but (hopefully) without adventurers. I could even imagine a sedan for the pharaoh and a small Egyptian hut. Hopefully the camel from PoP will be used, too. Some Egyptian grave roobers and the "ship of the death" (for transporting the dead pharaoh on the Nile to his last resting-place (the pyramide)) would be amazing. Some weeks ago I watched a documentary about the pyramides of Gizeh and how they were built. It was told that the newest state of the scientific knowledge is the pyramides themselves weren't built by slaves - that's only a legend. It was mainly the population from the hinterland and experienced stone cutters and other mechanics. Klaus-Dieter
  6. Thank you very much for this information, Cwetqo! I really hope this information is right. I even hope that this Egyptian theme will be minimum that historically correct than the one from around 2000 - and not a fantasy or only action theme. An Adventure based Egyptian theme (like the one from around 2000) would be cool - but a historical Egyptian theme would be even more amazing! I totally agree with you, legogirl19! That would be absolutely amazing! In January it's then three years ago that Town Plan was released. So a big City Exclusive in Jan. is very likely. Plus which set from which theme would you expect if not (a city square from) City? Klaus-Dieter
  7. Looks really great, lightningtiger! I really the shelves with all these things on it and the cashpoint. Now some minifigs, a delivery truck and a bicycle - and then your great MOCset is finished. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  8. I would have to lie to tell you the wright answer - I simply forgot the color. It might be dark grey, but perhaps it even was green. And who knows whether TLG not finally uses tan? I really hope so. The last harbor theme from 2007 was really great! But there are even some things which could be done better or different. And who says that we always only want to get cargo harbor stuff?! Some small civilian harbor scenery would be awesome, too. That there's a polie boat in 2011 does not necessarily mean that we even will get a new harbor theme. E. g. a fire boat was released this year, too, and we didn't get a new harbor theme. And in 2005 we got a police boat, too, but the harbor sets appeared firstly in 2007. As much as I'd like to see a new harbor theme, I even have doubts about whether I want a new one in 2011 at all. Of course some new harbor sets would be even more awesome than the ones from 2007 were. But a new harbor theme would even mean that there is less place for shops and other civilian stuff. 2010 was and still is a great year for City. But apart from the brilliant City House and the small TRU Shop we don't get any civilian building (if you don't count 10216). 2010 is imo too much focused on vehicles and too less focused on buildings. So a supermarket or at least a grocery and a bank and a snack bar and a cargo depot or modern cargo center are really overdue - since long. Unluckily I think the first rumors on the 2011 City sets will firstly appear in November. So there is still a long time to wait and see. Klaus-Dieter
  9. Since we now know all minifigures of series 1 and 2 and even some surely for the series 3, which minifigs do you expect for series 4? Here are my thoughts for possible minifigs of series 4: -bandit (Western) with black scarf and pistols (=> series 1) -damsel of the castle (Castle/Kingdoms) with small mirror and/or homer -female police officer with torch light -gardener with watering can -rock star with electric guitar (=> series 2) -girl with rope -swimmer with trophy -postman with shoulder bag and letter -old woman with cat -bicycler with blue or grey bicycle -hot dog seller with sausage and coke -male dancer (=> series 3) -surgeon with knife -gladiator (Romans) with sword and/or net and/or trident -sheriff (Western) with gun (=> series 1) -Arabian knight (Castle/Kingdoms) with lance and round buckler What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  10. When I remember right, the Ferrari driver did only come with a red helmet - nothing more. The baseball bat isn't a brown carot. To me it looks very authentic. Klaus-Dieter
  11. There was a TRU poll to choose between three Star Wars sets in 2008. One of the option got the most votes. It was released in 2009 as the TRU Exclusive (Mon Calamari Cruiser). But one of the two other sets was released this year (Slave 1). So why shouldn't that be possible with City, too, Svelte? If TLG wasn't convinced that all three options would make great sets, they wouldn't have added them to the poll. Plus Mirandir mentioned somewhere some time ago that he got the info that all three ideas will be released (and since he was right about the TRU Truck including a toy shop before we had any set description or set pics, I trust him). Plus the last big non-Winter City Exclusive (10184) was already released three years ago and this year we didn't see more than only two civilian buildings this year (of which one was even "only" availabe via TRU). These pictures were only ideas, marvinblue. Both the Public Transport and the City Square contained in the same year already released sets (the yellow bus from 7641 and the pizzeria styled building from 7641). After some of yours, ideas that TLG will include in these sets which were exactly shown on the TRU pic, even the Public Transport either would not have been released or would have included everything shown on the according pic or again the same yellow bus included in 7641. I partly agree with you, lightningtiger. I think that the Truck Stop - which for the non-exclusive release will surely be modified into a regular gas station - will be released in summer 2011 as a regular City set. But the City Square would promise more if released as a big Exclusive - plus it would be more AFOL oriented than JFOL oriented. So it's more likely that if it was released, it'll be released as a big Exclusive. And since it's very likely that we'll see another Winter set in 2011, it's very unlikely that a 150 Euros big City Exclusive will be released only about two or three months before since they in this way would concurate. So if there was an exclusive City Square in 2011, it's imo the most likely to be released in January. For 2012 I don't see one of these options to be released. At that time the poll would be already much too long ago. But of course I even might be wrong. I don't want to say with that that it's hundred percent for sure that we'll get the City Sqaure next January. I personally think it's 1:2 (either a/the City Square or a Space City (as end of SP3) or a Western village (Pirates is excluded since we had the Imperial Flagship already this year and Kingdoms is excluded, too, since we can for sure await a second big wave of Kingdoms sets in summer 2011)). But objective it's at least possible and not excluded. Klaus-Dieter
  12. That's a totally awesome Western MOC, Jonas! I really it! It looks absolutely realistic and the details are stunning! The saloon as well as the train station as well as the undertaker's office are desigend perfectly. And the Western locomotive looks brilliant, too. So does the landscape. Very, very well done! Btw: Is this scene from a Karl May Western? I mean to remember that there was one scene in one of those excellent movies, but since it's regrettably minimum five years ago that I watched them the last time, I regrettably do not remember. But if it was one of the Karly May Western, I'd go either for Winnetou 2 or 3 or Old Surehand 1 or 2. Klaus-Dieter
  13. Btw: Since there'll be ancient columns included in two of the Atlantis sets in 2011, this does TLG give us the possibility to release a Roman or Greek theme in the future. But/And it even gives TLG the possibility to design an ancient styled bank. So do you think that there will be a/the City Square as the January 2011 Exclusive? And do you even think that this City Square would then include an ancient styled bank (the interior could and should of course be modern, but the architecture ancient)? Klaus-Dieter
  14. The fisherman looked like an everyday guy. The sumo ringer does have the same trophy - but keep in mind these are prelim pics so TLG might change the one or other thing. I thought it was a ballet dancer. The gorilla is a regular minifig with a gorilla head mold. I don't remember the last figs clearly and the last one I completely forgot. Thank you very much for this information, dariofol! An artist sounds promising - the only question is whether it is from music, sports or painting. Klaus-Dieter
  15. I don't remember that there was much apart from a small baseplate (not the one included in the Minifigure Series packs) and weaponry included. No, regrettably not. But since Kingdoms was released in this year's summer it's imo even very likely that we'll see some new sets in summer 2011. Klaus-Dieter
  16. I think there were minimum four sets. If I don't remember wrong, they were tan. But maybe there was even some white. Regrettably I even don't remember whether they were horizonatl only one part. Well, in about the end of September we'll see some blurry prelim pics, don't you think? Klaus-Dieter
  17. Til now this really looks great, lightningtiger! The round glas pieces look brilliant for window displays! I can't wait to see the final version. Two suggestions: I'd add flat plates not next to the door but everywhere outside. Will there be a second floor? If not, I'd add a big sign on top - but you suppossably planned this anyway. Klaus-Dieter
  18. Thank you very much for this great review, WhiteFang! I voted for outstanding and that I like 8684 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 2 the most. Apart from the witch all this minifigs are really  ! I really like to see that the singer comes with an extra microphone and that the karate guy comes with an extra trophy - great! I can't await to get some of these! Klaus-Dieter
  19. I really hope that TLG is going to release minimum one Farm set in summer 2011. It would be a shame if TLG stopped the Farm theme already after two years since there are still that many sets left which could and should be released (esp. agriculutal vehicles and machines, a farm shop, a farm house, a horse stable, a chicken stable and a big garden with glas house). Plus the Farm sets are very popular among JFOLs as well as AFOLs. It looks similar to 10213 - but not that heavily brick-built. Plus I think it is not that long. And not exactly the official NASA design (I think the nose is not black - but I even might be wrong about that.) Klaus-Dieter
  20. Here are some more ideas and wishes: Breakdancer male light-blue baseball cap concentrated black tank top with printing, light-blue pants ghetto blaster Securing Of Evidence Officer male white bonnet surprised white jacket with two front pockets - one with "Police" print or sign - and a hood and another "Police" print on the back, white hands (= gloves), white pants loupe, small plate with fingerprints on it Skater Girl female violet baseball cap excited red tank top, black shorts black skateboard Stewardess female blue bonnet friendly white blouse with blue jacket with airport sign on it, blue short skirt blue shoulder bag, flight ticket Klaus-Dieter
  21. Since we know now all 10xxx sets for 2010, it's sure that 10217 will be the 2011 January Exclusive. I could well imagine - and I really even hope so - that it'll be a/the City Square. What do you think? That would be awesome! Klaus-Dieter
  22. Thank you very much for the set description, grogall! 55 Euros is a very good price ratio performance! Nevertheless I would have prefered it to cost 5 Euros more but include some real interior (like a bed or a table with seat) on the second floor and a closed oven with door (instead of the completely open one. Klaus-Dieter
  23. I really like all of your last ideas - excellent! Hopefully TLG will answer our prayers for those sets! Btw: A pleasure cruiser would - if it only included two cabins with bathrooms, a restaurant and an engine room downstairs and a swimming-pool, a bar, a sun terrace and the bridge upstairs - surely not more than 100-150 Euros. And even if it was more expensive, I really would like to see TLG releasing a pleasure cruiser! Klaus-Dieter
  24. Thank you very much for these new pics and the 360 degree view of the Winter Bakery, grogall! I must admit that before I saw the 3D-degree, I was more looking forward to this set then now. But the interior a bit really disappointing: the second floor includes no interior and the oven is completely open. Has anyone seen an oven without door and who is open to all four sides before?! All the warmth to bake the cakes would go away into the room. Don't get me wrong: The exterior is completely awesome! An although the interior is for me a bit disappointing, I will try to get this set since it will be an excellent addition to the Winter Toy Shop. But for the next Winter house I hope that TLG will include some decent interior to the second floor, too, like they did in 10199. Klaus-Dieter
  25. Like already mentioned, it looks like one of the SP3 alien heads. Klaus-Dieter
