The only thing I don't like with this set list is that it confirms us that we won't get new City buildings (like 7641) (at least not sold in regular shops) and any City Farm sets. Thank you very much for this further information, Ferdik! Smaller doesn't sound that good. On the other hand the last cargo ship could even have been smaller since there weren't enough containers included to load it anyway. Plus some variety even in the size of ships is good, too. But that it's in green is a welcome variety in opposite to all the other ships which are always only blue and red. I can't wait for pics! But regrettably we surely won't see any before Christmas. Thank you very much for this new set information, Ferdik, and for posting it, Derek! A medieval windmill sounds amazing! I bet that they build it with a lot of hinges and cliffy roof bricks. The vanes are surely built with the Pirates "big ropes" and cloth. I even wouldn't be surprised to see a PF motor included. A medieval windmill will be a great addition to MVV! Hopefully it'll include some sort of farm building and a small field, too! I bet that it'll be the spring Exclusive (this year: Space Shuttle Adventure, last year: Emerald Night) since I doubt that this will be sold that much in regular toy shops. Plus I highly doubt that it'll be the only Kingdoms set for 2011. Btw: Ferdik, do you remember whether there were any other buildings or a field included in this set, too? Thank you very much for this new set information, Ferdik, for the link to the new set list, Christian, and for translating it, escortmad79! A new harbor sounds very interesting. Do you remember whether there were a cargo crane, a small hut, a small truck and containers included (like in the version of 2007), too, Ferdik? It's great that after that a long time of waiting a marina comes back! This year's yellow waterplane will surely go with it very well. But I don't have to high hopes - after Ferdik's description it seems to be only a small set. At least the "setting" seems to be not very huge (not like the classic set lightningtiger posted (with garage, big cafe, crane and big piers)). Maybe the shop is a small bar/cafe? A boat transport sounds good. Hopefully the yacht will have a decent interior inside! A fisher boat sounds great! It would be nice if you can move the net with a hoist up and down. Some fish and crabs would be great additions. I wonder what these sets shall be. I could well imagine that - since 3658 (the new big police helicopter with the yellow pick-up) is released in Jan. - this is a typing error and shall be not 3648 but 3658. But what about 3661? Has anyone of you already heard about it? Maybe a chance for a new Farm set? The lighthouse will very supposably be a Creator set. And all those 56xx and 57xx sets are surely all Duplo sets. I bet it'll be very similar to the Echo Base set: -Endor Luke -Ewok -Ewok or Endor Rebel -Scouttrooper -Scouttrooper or Stormtrooper -Scouttrooper's bike -trap or catapult -some scenery (tree and scrubs) But what is a Rebel Frigate? Is it from the CW, PT or OT? Btw: This year's non-exclusive summer sets were in special stores (e. g. Kaufhof) already available in June. So this might be the case next year, too. Klaus-Dieter

Here's a new idea for a nice smaller Farm set (which maybe or even supposably would be a very small Exclusive because of the many chrome-grey pieces): Chrome-Grey Tractor tractor (like the one included in the Farm main set - but without dig) in chrome-grey blue plow (to add to the tractor's back) minifig: farmer (yellow torso and pants) accessory: apple Klaus-Dieter

I thought once more about a possible gas station and bank: Since a gas station will very supposably be as big as the one released in 2007, there very supposably won't be a (non-exclusive) set including a gas station and a bank. But what about both sets being sold seperately - the gas station as part of the summer sets and the bank as the small exclusive first half of the year set (like this year's 3222)? So we could get the bank as an exclusive set as part of the new Police wave. It could include a small bank (suppoably only two floors big, set on a 16x8 baseplate and in modern architecture), a security transport car, a prisoner, a police officer, a security officer (new torso), a woman and some billets and gold pieces. What do you think? Btw: What do you think about new Farm sets? Do you think that TLG decided to not release any in 2011? I fear so since I bet that if we got some, we would get them in the first half of 2011. And since there was none in the retailer's catalogue it's very unlikely that there'll be some. Klaus-Dieter

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant: Everybody should only post 2 wishes in total - so that TLG can detect which would be the most desired vehicles. If everybody can post as many wishes as she or he wants to, then TLG can much worse (or even not at all) detect which are the most desired since everybody would write down all of his or her wishes (equally from whether these are the ones he or she likes the most or whether she or he only thinks that they would be nice to have). @ commanderneyo: I don't want to argue but: I thought that we shall write down our wishes for the "two Star Wars vehicles [we] [...] want TLG to make". So 2. And not many lists which always include 2. In this way imo the limitation to 2 makes absolutely no sense - and the "Ideas for future Star Wars sets" topic is completely equal since we wouldn't show any priorities. And for TLG the/our prioritees are very important (since the ideas for new or re-designed sets are nearly endless, but our money and their production possibilites are limited). Klaus-Dieter

Well, supposably you're right, lightningtiger. This set would then be bigger than 7641. But even think about that it would depend on how big and detailed TLG would design the buildings. E. g. if they build only a very small gas station (without car wash and without garage) and only a smaller bank (in modern architecture (which means less bricks needed) and only two floors big), it wouldn't be bigger than 7641. But if they designed the gas station like the one of 2007, then I even have huge doubts whether there'll be another building included at all. I agree with Mrlegoninja. A church very supposably won't happen. But a town hall looking similar to a church (like the town hall in 10184 which you can easily use as a church, too) is supposably. But I can't imagine TLG to release it as a seperate set since I've got doubts that it would sell enough. Nevertheless perhaps TLG releases a bigger Winter set in 2011 or the years after that which includes two or more buildings. Then a winter town hall could be well included. E. g. a set including a town hall, a candy shop, a frozen fountain and some market stands - that would be ! That sounds , too, Mr. Elijah Timms! And supposably this is even more realistic to be released in 2011 than a candy shop (since bakery and candy shop have more similarities than bakery and family home). Klaus-Dieter

On the one hand we've already gotten a lot of Hoth related sets. On the other hand there are some very important locations and minifigs TLG nevertheless hasn't been releasing until now. So my wishes are for a set similar to "The Battle of Endor" - but Hoth related. Imo only the til now missing locations and minifigs on Hoth would suffice - but for JFOLs there of course needs to be some action, too. The Battle of Hoth base: including medical room (with blue-transparent tank to open, bed and control panels), control center (with two chairs, conrol panels and transparent-clear screens) and entrance between these two rooms (with gate) vechiles: ion cannon (redcued), AT-ST accessory: medical stuff, cargo stuff, weaponry minfigs: Major Bren Darlin, injured Luke, Medical Droid, Hoth Leia, Hoth Han, AT-ST Driver, 2 Snowtroopers, 2 Hoth Rebel Troopers, R2-D2, C-3PO special effects: parts of the roof of the base can be blown up (like in "The Battle of Endor"), AT-ST can shoot, ion cannon can shoot, gate in the hangar can be opened "The Battle of Endor" was a huge success (at least last year in September when I went to one of my local toy shops and wanted to buy one, the shop owner told me that it regrettably is sold out since it's that popular). The Battle of Hoth is one of the most iconic scenes from the OT - like the Battle of Endor is. So why shouldn't be a "The Battle of Hoth" set be less successful than this one?! Klaus-Dieter

Nevertheless some ideas are different - so here are my thoughts: Cloud City absolutely likely as Exclusive in 2011 (because of new Han, new Boba and new carbonite block) Sandcrawler will supposably never be released again (if at all perhaps in a half decade or later - but surely not in the next years) Sail Barge I'm really not sure here; since it offers a lot of playability and is one of the most important scenes of RotJ, perhaps in 2013 - but perhaps even never Millennium Falcon will surely be re-designed; I'd even go for 2011 or at the latest 2012 Mos Eisley Cantina the version we got was really a huge let-down; so there surely will be a new one; I could well imagine TLG releasing it in 2012 (Exclusives: 2011: Cloud City, 2012: Mos Eisley Cantina; 2013: Ewok Village) Jabba's Palace of course; I bet for 2013 (30th anniversary of RotJ) Hoth Rebel Base surely will be released again, the medical droid (this year in Palpatine's Shuttle set) lets me hoping Twin Pod Cloud Car surely not as a seperate set since it's too unimportant, but I bet it being included in the very supposably in 2011 released Cloud City TIE Bomber/Fighter TIE Bomber supposably not, but regular TIE Fighter of course - the last one was released in 2005 - I even bet for 2011 I only partly agree with you in this point, Shadows: On the one hand we've already gotten a lot of Hoth related stuff - esp. vehicles and cannons. That's correct. I thought that a supermarket could and should be released as a set, too, but seperately since it should be not only that a small set (16x8x), but be set on a big baseplate (32x16) in order to that we can get a decent interior with lots and different things to sell and buy, a cashpoint and outside a small (hut) where the shopping carts are stored. Plus a civilian car and/or a delivery car would be a must to be included in this set. So I could imagine (and wish that) we'll see: June: yacht (30 Euros) July: supermarket (Exclusive) (40-60 Euros) August/September: bank and gas station (50 Euros) ferry with dock (90-100 Euros) beach scene (20-40 Euros) ice vendor (3-20 Euros) October: Winter Candy Shop (Exclusive) (55-60 Euros) What do you think? Esp. for the OT fans amongst us, it slowly gets boring to only always get R2-D2. The only three OT astromech droids TLG has released until now were the red one, R2-D2 and the one in the ISD/DS. My four are: Major Bren Darlin Biggs Darklighter (we already had one, but that one had a yellow (instead of a fleesh) head) General Veers (with correct torso printing: four red and four blue signs (instead of always getting the torso from the officer with its three red and three blue signs - which isn't a general)) Red Leader I've got even a lot more wishes for completely new and redesigned characters - but these are either not that important or I think that TLG will include them in new OT sets anyway (like e. g. a CC Leia in a new Cloud City set) so that putting them on this wishlist doesn't make much sense. Now that I saw the pdf with all of these new City sets in a much better quality: Small Space Car looks not stunning but a small nice set I bet that there aren't two minifigs - only the spaceman has his helmet behind him Police Boat the exterior design is ok and the additional small boat for the criminal adds more playability otherwise it's imo a shame in how a minimalistis style TLG designs the boats (esp. their interior) in the last years (here: no backwalls to the lower room, absolutely no interior to the lower room) Police Minifigure Collection a civilian minigiure instead of a second criminal would have been better and the dog is useless (we get in three of the new Police sets a dog - that's really too many police dogs) but otherwise it's a great small and not that expensive set in order to get two policemen and a quad the automatic teller looks good (hopefully a sign for a bank set later the year!) The big police car in the Police Station looks great! Btw: Since TLG sadly doesn't release a new Town Plan style exclusive City set in January (but an exclusive HP set), I really hope that we'll at least get something similar to 7641 in summer. Maybe a set with a small gas station, a bank (two-three floors big), a security transport car, a small civilian car, a white or green bicycle, a banker, an Octan worker, a police officer, a criminal, a woman and a boy. Well, a big castle for the dragon knights? I think that either we'll get a new faction or a big castle for the dragon knights. Perhaps TLG even does similar to the FA "Castle" line: first year: big good guys' castle, second year: new faction(s), third year: big bad guys' castle. As for a new civilian set: I fear that we won't see one before 2012 - or maybe even later. I was hoping that TLG will release the january Exclusives in a three years rhythm (like they do with the most of their themes, too). But if so, in january 2011 we would have gotten a City Exclusive. But that regrettably won't happen. So I even bet that we have to wait for medieval sets longer than three years after the release of MVV, too. Supposably we'll be getting a new medieval set in the year when the Kingdoms line finishs with its last sets. But supposably that'll take some while. A medieval farm (with farm house, stables and a wind mill), a huge knights' tournamen set (with a lot of knights, horses, civlians and tents) and a huge castle would be amazing! TLG knows that we want these sets (they even asked us for wishes and ideas). But it seems as if they don't plan to rise their number of exclusives sets per year to offer not only the Star Wars fans but even the City and Castle fans minimum one big Exclusive (with many buildings, vehicles and many minifigs and accessory) per year. That's an amazing City MOC, sens1992! I really it! It looks very realistic. The only thing which is strange is that the windows aren't transparent. Plus I miss the interior. Where is it? Thank you very much for confirming the Mace Windu's Starfighter set, Sir von Lego! So these are now seven sets - the same number of sets we got in the beginning of this year, too. Consequently the only question is whether there'll be a small exclusive set (like this year's Swamp Speeder) in the beginning of 2011, too. If so, I really hope for an OT set since otherwise all the (only-)OT fans (like me) have to wait until summer to get the first OT set - which would really be bad. Btw: It's strange that the rumor list for the 2011 summer sets didn't already appear. Wasn't it the last years that about one month after the rumor list for the first half of the year sets arrived, the rumor list for hte second half arrived? Klaus-Dieter

That's a completely amazing Winter MOC, The Red Brick! I really it! It looks very realistic and there are a lot of small and lovely details included! I personally like this your Winter MOC even much more than the Winter Train Station you built because your Winter Post Office looks much more official and much less "MOCish". The only thing I miss in its interior is a frame with letters and packets. Otherwise it's perfect! Very, very well done! :thumbup: Btw: It would be great to see a Winter Candy Shop next. I totally agree with you, metalandi! There surely will be new Kingdoms sets in 2011 since TLG surely won't stop this new themes already after one wave/year. But it's for sure firstly late spring or summer when the 2011 Kingdoms sets will be released. So we still have to wait some weeks for the sets names and supposably until the beginning of next year for pics. I could well imagine next year's wave being to that big than this year's. Supposably there'll be a new fraction introduced in 2011. Which I could well imagine that we'll see: -castle for the new fraction (not that big than the king's one but bigger than the dragon knights' one) -outer bailey for the king's castle -knights' tournament (lion vs. dragon) -king's chariot -solider Impulse set What do you think?
