A skilift would be a great idea, darthperson8! That would combine action and high playability elemets (mainly for JFOLs) with Technic elements (JFOLs and AFOLs) and a nice looking landscape (mainly for AFOLs). As a S@H Exclusice I could well imagine it! And the idea of a Beach Resort and a Casino Resort are perfect! *y* Yes, I really like(d) the Paradisa theme because it was so lovely designed and included so many nice things like a beach caf

That are great ideas, Stealth Hunter! I, too, would like to have some criminals in my Lego City. And that would open a whole new City subtheme because you surely don't only want the bad but even the good site - so what about some sets based on special police units like the GSG 9 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GSG_9) or the SEK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezialeinsatzkommando) or the Bundespolizei (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bundespolizei). Things like water cannons or police tanks would be great 8-

How promised here my comments to your great ideas for new City sets: Welcome to EB, LEGOMAN132! That are great ideas! I especially like the idea of the private jet and the city pirates. That would be brilliant! *y* And a new big hospital with lots of minifigs would be very nice, too, if it would be similar to that: Big Hospital a big hospital including three floors on a "normal" base plate (no hill etc.): -first floor: two garages with emergency room, a foyer with a revolving door, two or three seats to wait and a reception desk and a little park outside with two park benches and a fountain -second floor: two sickrooms (one with two beds and one with only one bed but a lot of medical equipment) -third floor: an operating room with a stretcher, lamps and lots of medical equipment and an anesthetic recovery room with a stretcher/bed and some medical equipment including an ambulance car, a doctor's car, a lot of medical equipment and medical stuff minifigs: a doctor, a paramedic, a receptionist, a nurse, a patient, a surgeon and a surgical nurse I really hope that TLG will release a big hospital with lots of minifigs like the one described here in january 2009 since it is very likely that there'll be a hospital in the beginning of the next year! Excuse me but what should that be, a dojo set?

I totally agree with you, dathperson8! These would be great sets - especially the snwoy mountain hotel! It's very nice to see how much you're interested in this topic and how many great ideas you present us here! Thank you very much! *sweet* (Since I want now to watch "GSG 9" on TV I'll comment on all the other articles on this site tomorrow evening. I hope that you make excuses for me ;-) !)

Thank you very much for the new pics, brainbox and Sinner! I already commented on the new advent calendar ( *y* ) in that topic: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...pic=15584&st=30 My comments on the other CG sets: Positive: I like the quad car and the 4wd with jetski becuase they are really nice little sets. The rescue helicopter is very big - but it is very nice, too. The life raft is very well done and the lighthouse *wub* , too! *y* Negative: How I feared - the petrol boat has no back wall in the bridge and in the room downstairs. And it also seems that there is no interior in the room downstairs. That's really a pity :'-( because this boat could have been a so nice one - but without back walls and without interior in the room downstairs it's only a half thing! *n* But all in all the new CG theme is a great theme *wub* and I hope that TLG will expand the harbor theme in 2009, too (e. g. with a tanker and/or a passenger ship) ;-) !

Thank you very much for the pics, highlandcattle and sam89! That new City advent calendar is amazing! *wub* TLG did a very good job with this set! I like it to get not - like all the previous years - only fire, police, airport and construction site (even though these themes are of course very nice, too) but more civilian stuff! *y* I like the most the worker with the pallet, the tree with the cat, the snowmobile and the ice cream stand. But is that cart with that white sun umbrella really an ice cream stand - it has only tires in the front?

Thank you all very much for your welcome greetings! That's very nice! *sweet* Thank you very much for that information, Stauder! So I don't need to have a bad conscience :-$ .

That would be a great idea, Mile85! But I think that - like it was discussed some time ago in another topic - TLG wouldn't release a set with figthing Indians against Whites in the same set because it could be interpreted as discrimination of Indians.

Thank you for that news, Darth Bionics! I think that that new theme the excerpt is talking about hopefully will be no theme similar to Exo Force or Bionicle because I really hate these themes. And it would even make no sense to abandon Exo Force but releasing a new theme similar to Exo Force. I personally think that it will be something similar to the Orient Expedititon theme - with special central characters, little histories to each set - and it will be a new Adventure theme. I'd really like to see a new Wild West theme! Yes, a new Ninja theme would be cool, too - but not as combination with fantasy creatures or roborts! Although I'd like to see a new Ninja theme I personally think that the new theme will be no theme which has any similarities with Castle because if it would be similar to Castle TLC would concurate with itself. Consequenty I think Adventures - or hopefully Wild West - are the most supposable themes you can expect. I don't think that TLC would give pirates, egyptians or romans names and write a history about special central characters of them - but of course you can't know - everything is possible!

That are great ideas, Widdi and Stealth Hunter! A forest subtheme and a zoo would be great! And some more police sets would be great, too!

Underwater Face-Off
Klaus-Dieter replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
4888 would have been a very nice set when it would have included some minifigs and a nice interior. The new Aquazone sets are in my oppinion only "action garbage". -
I of course voted for 10184 Town Plan because I really *wub* *wub* *wub* this set! It's amazing! And it's the best Lego set ever released until now! *sweet* It's perfectly designed and includes very nice details and buildings which are really needed for a real Lego City but weren't released until now (cinema and town hall). *y* And there are so nice interiors! 8-

That's a very nice Lego Town, SalvoBrick! I like all these nice buildings and lovely details. The most I like the hot dog man with his wagon - that looks amazing and could well be a real Lego set! Very nice!
-
I totally agree with you, GeneralTarful! A new human faction - with nice minifigs and some civil stuff- would be very nice!
-
That's an amazing Castle MOC, LuxorV! It combines civil aspects (the wagon) with action aspects (the knights). I only wish that TLG will release something like that! Very well done!
-
I thought that if it is a movie and no TV series it will be a movie with real actors - only computer animated actors don't look very well when you look at the pics Vader posted (By the way: Thanks for them!) in comparison to the big great six movies Lucasfilm produced with mainly real actors (episode 1-6). I'm really disappointed about that!
-
I voted of course for the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer! I think it was the best 150 Euro Lego SW set TLG ever released until now because it looks very realistic from outside and includes some nice interior -and I liked it to get a knew Imperial Officer minifig (Grand Moff Tarkin).
-
When looking at the Indiana Jones minifig I had some idea: Since shoulder bags are now very modern, his shoulder bag could be used for City sets, too, e. g. for a pupil or a student minifig, don't you think? OK, perhaps not in that brown color because that looks too old but perhaps in black?! A new idea: "Snow Locomotive" (don't know the real name) a yellow colored diesel locomotive - best based on the 9 V system ;-) - with a "snow shovel" in front of it to clear the snowy tracks including a handy, a "normal" snow shovel, a brush and some tools minifig: conductor and train worker What do you think?

In order to give you a better overview over my most favored topics: Ideas for new sets(Wild West): http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...?showtopic=9151 Ideas for other "Super Sets" like 10184 Town Plan: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=11915 Ideas for new City sets: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...topic=9448&st=0 Ideas for new Classic Castle sets: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...topic=9827&st=0 By the way: I'm very sorry that I forgot to tell you that "Peter Paschke" isn't my real name - it's only the name I choosed for to admit when loging in. I hope you aren't angry with me according to this mistake :'-( . I'll surely present you my really real name after I will have passed my second state examination. But before that time I won't because of security reasons. I know that 99,99 percent of you are very nice people. But you have to be careful nevertheless because you can't know what is to be used against you. I mean: I hope that I don't write some forbidden garbage in this forum - that's even not my aim and of course not my way of thinking. But nevertheless I don't want to act precipitously. Please understand me - perhaps that's a bit too anxious and charily but that's no animosity opponent you and I hope that it isn't seen as an uncivil act. If I loose my title becuase of that I would surely be not very happy but it would of course be Ok since I did tell you something false when introducing myself. So: Please again sorry :'-( !

I'm thinking the whole time about if the witch in this year's "Castle" advent calendar has a continuative significance and if so, which continuative significance for next year's Castle sets? I mean: Does TLG ony include the witch into the advent calendar in order to give us AFOLs and the JFOLs some special minifigs? Or is there more behind it? The witch as leader of a new fraction? Or only one little set with her (e. g. her hut)? Or nothing? It's nearly the same with the medieval woman and the jester: Will we get (more) sets which will include medieval citizens or not? What do you think about it?
-
A new idea: Hold-Up At The Old Man's Grave a little graveyard with a black fence, a big tree and a big grave that can be opened including a horse, some gold pieces, a red jewel, five bats, two owls and a black falcon minifigs: skeletton, ghost, the robbers' boss and a cowboy And your ideas?!

Thank you very much for summarising all these WW topics, Brick Miner! That's now much more clearly arranged so you can find very fast what you're searching for.

How Well Do You Like the Ninja Theme?
Klaus-Dieter replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really would like a comeback of the Ninja theme! It was a great theme with amazing minifigs and very nice castles *wub* . It was a very special theme which was/is totally different to the "normal" Castle theme. There were big and little sets, good and bad Ninjas and a huge variety of different types of sets (e. g. not only castes but even a little ship, a treasure transport, a little cave and a guarded bridge) - so for everybody something interesting I'd say. I mainly liked/like the nice minifig constellation and the great architecture of the buildings. What I missed in this theme was/is that there wasn't a castle for the Ninja king that included his throne, I missed some civilians and some female minifigs. But otherwise it was a great theme!
