  1. Excuse me, TheBrickster! :'-( It wasn't meant like you perhaps understood it. I wrote "If TLG engages Brick Miner and some other great WW MOCers [...]" - so you certainly were included, too *sweet* ! I only didn't know the names of all WW MOCers here on EB anymore and was too lazy to look them up and write them all down. So I choosed to take only the name of Brick Miner because he was the one of which the last WW MOCs were here presented. But - like already mentioned - you and all the other great WW MOCers should of course get the chance to work together with Lego, too, since your MOCs are brilliant! I know that this isn't a good excuse but ... :-/ So, are you going to be my partner any more or not? ;-)
  2. Since there are these of AFOLs designed space sets coming out this April and Grand Admiral wrote the following (source: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...c=15737&st=180) I thought: Perhaps it however might be possible that we'll get one or two WW sets in the future. If TLG engages Brick Miner and some other great WW MOCers Lego would get a great flash of inspiration and would be able to release amazing WW sets. For I don't think that WW is more unpopular than Pirates. In contrast - I think AFOLs as well as JFOLs would very well like a comeback of the WW theme. And - apart from the big ships in the Pirate theme - I'm convinced that kids really would like WW sets as well as Pirates. And since TLG most of the time argues with the likes and dislikes of kids for special sets and themes this is the most basic! I'd say it only depends on how the set looks like, how much playability you include in a set and how much ad you make for it. So what are your ideas and positions concerning this?
  3. Amen! It's very nice to see you coming back, Brick Miner! :-) Farbsman posted pics of your excellent MOCs we already had seen but of three new MOCs, too on http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...opic=15788&st=0. They are all amazing *wub* *y* ! If you have got time would you then please be so nice and post a review of your new Ghost Town because on the pic you can't see the details like e. g. the interior of the two houses in which I'm very interested?! ;-)
  4. After darkrebellion's topic "Which is your favorite lego star wars creature?" I thought it would be interesting to see which creature (non-minifig!) you would like to see TLG releasing if there is a new one? So please tell us which your favourite SW creature would be! Since there are more than only one creature I would like TLG to release (Tauntaun, Wampa, Bantha, little Rankor) I voted for: Tauntaun
  5. I voted No and No. There are three reasons for my decision: 1. A SW chess surely would be very expensive. And since I really haven't got much money I rather spend my money on "normal" SW sets than on a chess. 2. I don't think that a SW chess would include great new minifigs. There surely would only be the same minifigs like we already know from all the other sets. Only think of an OT SW set - which minifigs would it include?! For the bad guys: Stormtroopers as farmers, Palpatine as king, Darth Vader as queen, At-St Drivers as horses, Imperial Royal Guards as towers and Imperial Officers as bishops. And for the good guys: Rebel Troopers as farmers, Luke as king, Leia as queen, pilots as horses, Rebel Workers (like in the newer version of the A-Wing) as towers and Hoth Troopers as bishops. 3. But if that SW chess however includes some new minifigs I would rather more see them included in a "normal" set. I totally agree with you, xwingyoda! A SW advent calendar would be amazing!
  6. Thank you, Hinckley! Since nobody answered yet my questions I tried to print these great torsos on white labels and then pasted them on some minifigs. It worked very well! Mainly the saloon keeper looks very nice! *y*
  7. My favorite Lego SW creature is at all events the dewback! (To rank second there is Greedo if you count him as a creature and not as a minifig.)
  8. Welcome to EB, KingUndertheMountain and nice to see that we have got another Wild West fan on EB! *y* I took the liberty of fitting in a link for the MOC of Brick Miner that isn't shown on page 1: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...wtopic=7987&hl= (regrettably I can't fit in the pic itself) It's - like all the other WW MOCs of Brick Miner - a brilliant and amazing WW set! I really *wub* this stagecoach with that perfectly designed WW woman who traves with that stagecoach 8-
  9. Thank you for that information, Joebot! I'm not wondering that City sets are the most sold Lego sets. The most popular sets at the most AFOLs of us are surely the SW sets - but at the most JFOLs and their (grand)parents it's surely City because City is the thing the most kids experience every day and it's something that really exist. On the one hand I don't agree with you, MAH4546. TLG did a very good job with the City sets in the last three years. Mainly the harbor sets are amazing and the 10184 Town Plan is *wub* *wub* *wub* ! On the other hand I agree with you because the new vehicles (mainly the bigger cars and the plains) are much too big *n* and don't go with older sets of the late 1980th and early 1990th. I mainly miss the old styled (four stuck wide) cars with doors and some apartment houses and shops!
  10. Thank you very much for that news, Jan Beyer, jipay and gylman! That are great news! 8-
  11. Thank you very much for that pics, phoinix! It's very nice that TLG now releases sets which only include doors/windows and bricks for the roofs. That's a very well decision of TLG to bring back these parts packs since ordering bricks for the roofs per Pick A Brick is very circular and takes a long time (to order and until you then get them). Of course Pick A Brick is a very good thing - but mainly to buy special bricks or several bricks - for a huge bulk of bricks these parts packs are much better. Very nice! *y*
  12. Thank you very much for that pic, Pigbrick! Although I'm really not a real fantasy fan that elves minifig seems to look very nice! Perhaps it's right and we might get some elves in some sets similar to the old amazing forestmen sets. But which should then be the bad fraction? Bad elves would be very bad - and more fantasy creatures would be boring at all - I'd say. What about a bad human fraction since there isn't yet one? If you ask me I think we might get some more of these ugly trolls and orcs to fight against the elves since there isn't yet a castle for the trolls.
  13. I voted of course for OT, Minifig and Tantive 4! A Mont Calamari Cruiser would be a great set, too, but the Tantive 4 is of course of more importance. The minifig scaled Death Star would have been my first vote but since we'll get 10188 Death Star already this year I think it doesn't make sense to vote for it since we'll get it anyway. And since somebody here in that forum said last year in about the time after we got the news of the Hoth Rebel Base and the RC that Lego had already designed the RBR - so I'd say the RBR is the most likely set when there would be released an OT set in minifig scale. Of course I'd like an Endor Bunker, a bigger Hoth Rebel Base (Tauntauns!!!!) and/or a Temple Of Yavin very much, too!
  14. Thank you very much for that information, Grand Admiral! These are great news! *y* I'm really looking forward to see those sets! *sweet*
  15. Great find, Bonaparte! These CC styled medieval buildings look brilliant! The only thing I miss is an open backwall and some interior. But apart from this they are very well done - with many nice details.
  16. Thank you for that information and the link, TheBrickster! That bar in the saloon with all these nice details and the nice minifigs looks very good!
  17. Yes and no. Yes because I don't like this space fantasy stuff. No because I would have liked to see some space sets based on things which can be found in reality, too, e. g. an ISS and/or a Space Shuttle. Of course these sets would not need to be exactly similar to the in reality existing space stuff - they couldn't because they would then be much too big and expensive. But a simplified ISS or Space Shuttle would have been very nice and I could well imagine that I would have bought it. But of course you did your job very well and I don't doubt that the most space fans will like and buy them. *sweet* And - like I already said - perhaps Lego will give you or other ambassadors the chance to design some other sets, too, which I surely would like and buy! ;-)
  18. Thank you very much for that news and that pictures, gylman! Although I'm not interested in IJ this set looks excellent! 8-
  19. Amen! These sets are so 10000000000...% perfectly created and designed, are looking so *wub* and real that there really should - what do I say - there must be a rerelease of WW sets or at least some S@H Exclusives which are taking Brick Miner's ideas - or better employ him as a designer - and release some sets similar to them! *sweet*
  20. Oh, yes - I didn't know that. Then excuse me Mr. Giddens and Mr. Sandlin! :'-( Don't understand me wrong - there are no doubts that you are excellent Lego designers. But I'm a bit disappointed that since you had had a lot of ideas to collect and work to do the sets which will be released are - let's say a bit too imaginative for my liking. But perhaps Lego will give you the chance to desgin some other sets, too, which will belong to the City, Castle or Wild West theme. ;-) If so I'd be really looking forward to see and buy them! *sweet*
  21. Thank you for that pics, farbsman! These are really amazing, brilliant, ... WW MOCs 8-
  22. In contrast to the most of you I really dislike these sets! It's very nice to see that TLG releases sets which were designed by Lego fans. *y* But why then not releasing some nice sets?! Since there are so many nice sets on Lego Factory I can't understand why some so ugly sets like these were chosen to be released! *sing* Hopefully TLG will release some really nice fan designed sets in the future!
  23. Thank you very much for your welcome greetings, Asuka! :-D Aber des Oktoberfescht ist no a Weile hin, gell! :-D Klaus-Dieter
