  1. Thank you very much for the information, Tim Bit and Justin2224! I totally agree with you, darkrebellion! This list seems to be very similar to set wishes in our "Future Star Wars Sets" topic. But suppositional TLG would release all three sets - what should have been then the sense of letting Lego SW fans all over the world vote for one of these sets?! Yes, I totally agree with you, hollisbrick! Since I don't own the last version of the Slave 1 (which was imo great) I really would like to see TLG releasing a new one - at the best with a landing platform. I really hope that they'll release it in 2010 - but next year is imo unrealistic to believe. But I personally would much more like to see two seperate sets: The SLve 1 itself (of course not only the vehicle but even minifigs) and a bigger and more detailed re-design of the Cloud City - that would be ! I totally agree with you, hewman! A big Endor set without Ewoks is unbelievable ! I don't doubt that the Echo Base will come with a trench, a turret and two Rebel Troopers - in contrary that sounds realistic. But: 1. Where is the Tauntaun?! I think TLG will (have to) include a Tauntaun in this set. Otherwise many (adult) Lego SW fans - me included - would be really disappointed and angry! 2. And where are the Snowtroopers?! A Hoth BP which only includes Rebel Troopers - where should there be the sense?! Shall they fight against the air?! No, there have to be some Snowtroopers included in this set, too. And when you think from TLG's point of view: They always want to offer sets with a lot of action and playability (mainly for JFOLs important). And since there is no information about another Hoth set which would/could include Snowtroopers I think it's obvious that there'll be some snowtroopers included in the Echo Base. 3. A BP which shall be even bigger than the ones in january but with only two minifigs included?! Unbelievable , I'd say! There surely are four until five minifigs included in this set. (Maybe a turret, a trench, two Rebel Troopers hiding in the trench, two Snowtroopers on attack and a Rebel Captain on a Tauntaun in the background - that would be perfect and , don't you think?!) I totally agree with you, Justin2224! Despite from that I'm very sceptic about that we shall get a new MF in 2009 (like I already mentioned) it surely would not come with this minifigure combination! And I hope that it would even not come with only three minifigs - that would be really ! Klaus-Dieter
  2. That's a great idea for a poll, Dark Brickz! I voted for Original Trilogy (EP4+5+6) since I'm a real OT fan. I really like episode 1,2 and especially episode 3, too. But - at least with Lego I'm only OT fan and do only buy Lego OT sets. As for the CW I must say that I the movie. And FU and EU look to me really , too. Thank you for the poll. Klaus-Dieter
  3. I must say that I'm very sceptic about TLG releasing a Millenium Falcon next year: 1. There was already a list shown some pages ago where a Millenium Falcon wasn't mentioned. 2. A price of 60 AUSD is completely far away from reality: The last MF was 150 Euros. And the last years show that TLG is designing the sets and vehicles constantly bigger, more detialed and with more exclusive minifigs. So how to get a MF which is minimum about the size and detail than the last one - but should be at the price of about the Imperial Landing Craft?! - That's really unrealistic. 3. If the earlier list(s) are right we already get two big vehicles: The RSD and the RBR. Imo there is then no space for another minimum 150-Euros-set. I think that there surely will be a redesign/rerelease of the MF as well as one of the X-Wing - but not in 2009. As for the information of the Home One playset as TRU Exclusive: Like some of you already mentioned I don't think that they give the information about the exclusive TRU set so early. And like it seems more people voted for Palpatine's Arrest than for the Home One playset. But - like I already mentioned - I think that TLG will release both sets since then PT and OT fans would be happy and nobody can complain. Klaus-Dieter

I don't want to be impatient and disrespectful - but where is now your confirmation you pledged, qweeee4? BTW: Did you already notice that there are some instructions of some - partly very old - sets now on the website of TLG's customers' serive? Klaus-Dieter
  5. Perhaps TLG manages to design it in that way that you can put it in front of the King's Castle in order to feign a forework, SWMAN. I must say that I'm very curious about what the jubilee set will be . But I think that we'll unluckily have to wait a long time until we'll get more information and pics since the amazing 10193 is already released in January. And so another Castle Exclusive set will imo surely not been released before summer/fall. So we'll have to wait unitl (late) spring for pics and more information. And of course an archer (with bow) Impulse set and a dwarf Impulse set would be great. But which would be even better than these would be a medieval citizen Impulse set. Klaus-Dieter
  6. I totally agree with you, hollisbrick! The Echo Base surely will be about 30 Euros. I bet that there'll be Hoth Rebel Troopers and Snowtroppers included in this set, Tim Bit. Perhpas 2:2 plus a big laser canon and a Tauntaun ( ). For the Echo Base I would prefer that it won't include any main characters - Hoth Han and Hoth Luke have to be included in a set with the Wampa's cave. I'd like to see only troopers. And I hope so much that there'll be a captain included for the Rebels as well as for the Imperials. I mean: Come on, TLG, it's the 10th anniversary of Lego SW, so please give us some captains/commanders/..., too. Otherwise it'll get boring and unrealistic . Plus there were so many new CW characters this year that we OT fans should be aible to get some new characters, too. Klaus-Dieter

Where did you read that, darthperson? The Farm sets are going to be released in April (in the toy shops) here in Europe - so why should they only be sold as TRU esclusives in the US?! I think that they not only will be released on Lego S@H but even in regular toy shops. Btw: Did you notice that the set number 4240 is missing? Perhaps this will be either the rumored bus set or the rumored windmill set. And it might be sold as "not everywhere available" set (like this year's great CG Platfrom). What do you think? Klaus-Dieter
  8. I totally agree with you, SWMAN! It's really a pity that the - anyway not very numerous - OT sets are (despite from the redesign of Vader's TIE - ) firstly coming out in summer/fall. I partly agree with you, darkrebellion. On the one hand a Hoth rescue set would be more attractive. On the other hand it'll be nice to have some more troopers and equipment in addition to the Hoth Rebel Base. Imo it might be well possible that TLG will release a Hoth rescue set in 2010 or 2011. But surely not next year since that would mean that they'd have to make to new molds: one for the Tauntaun(s) and one for the Wampa. And until now there was maximum one new "animal" mold every year. But you give me the idea that it might be possible that we won't get any Tauntaun in the Echo Base set. Why? The set description only speaks of "deadline brick guns". If there is a Tauntaun included, wouldn't they mention so? Or do they only want to hide this information? I don't know. Klaus-Dieter

That's a really good idea, Mariko! I think that TLG will surely release something like a re-design of the Main Street or the Town Square in the next years. But with about 480 bricks I think not more than one building can be included. Plus we already got the awesome Town Plan this year. And two very similar sets in that short interval surely wouldn't be that good for sale. Klaus-Dieter
  10. Thank you very much for your nice comments! Thanks, Sandy! Since I mainly own thick bricks I nearly only built my MOCs with thick bricks. But imo they are very good for MOCs - and in fact more realistic mainly for older buildings since in the past houses were often built with thick walls. Thanks, Asuka! I tried to make the interior as realistic as possible - which is with my limited brick collection and the bricks available sometimes not very easy. But I'm content with the result, too. Thanks, Duke of Derby-shire! I'm very pleased that you like it! Klaus-Dieter
  11. That's a good point and argument, Captain Zuloo! But I must say that I didn't notice that the windmill mold is back. Where did you find/see it? Welcome to EB, Duke of Derby-shire! And nice to see again someone new interested in the Western theme! Klaus-Dieter
  12. Yes, blueandwhite, it seems as if there is a Castle jubilee set. I already wrote that some pages ago and even added the link to the source (rgrettably only German). I'm hoping that it'll be a very classic designed and classic styled set and as amazing as the Medieval Market Village - but I can well think that this will be the case. I agree with you, Batbrick. Although I really don't like the fantasy era in the Castle theme I must say that this is a fantastic creature. And I really want one. But because of this I surely won't buy the whole fortress. Klaus-Diter
  13. There'll be more Castle sets, hollisbrick! Do only think about the amazing 10193 set, then there will be the jubilee set and I think that there surely will be some Impulse sets, too. Next year seems to be the Castle jubilee year - so there surely wil be more sets. Plus we didn't see the list for fall/winter - so don't worry. Klaus-Dieter
  14. Thank you all very much for your nice comments! Thanks, Fordo Jumping! The atrium is one of the elements of a Roman villa I like the most. Thanks, Matteo Kenobi! I would have liked to use white baseplates. But since I only own two ... Thanks, Guss! You're right with the red bricks - they really have to stop at the height of two bricks. Perhaps I'll try in my Christmas holidays and build another one where I care about that. Do you think that the other things are ok? Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that information, Christian! I totally agree with you, The Cobra! In the last time TLG is really listening at what there fans want! Although the set descriptions are not very precise, here my thoughts until now: LEGO 7686 CITY Helicopter Transporter I think that this set won't be that good since it surely will be much too big and <insert that tiresome argument>. I think 30-40 Euros. LEGO 7687 CITY Advent Calendar Of course! If there is such amazing stuff included like in this year than . I think 17-20 Euros. LEGO 7638 CITY Tow Truck I don't know. If it's a little set like the classic ones it would be very nice. But it surely will be a big vehicle like e. g. the last cement mixer. I think 10-20 Euros. LEGO 7639 CITY Camper This sounds really good! And perhaps we even get a whole family with father, mother and son/daughter - ! I think 20-30 Euros. LEGO 7641 CITY Life The description is here much to vague to say anything. Perhaps a collection of some cars in addition to the minifigure collection in january? A post office would make much sense (and I really even want one) but I think that if there was one they would have named the set "post office", don't you think? I think 40-70 Euros - hard to say only when you look at the number of pieces. LEGO 7642 CITY Garage In principle I don't take any interest in another garage since I already own two. But since this set seems to be as big as this year's police station it must include something in addition to the garage, too. So if there's a pizzeria included in the set it might be that I buy it, too. Let's see. I think 90 Euors. So let's hope that we'll get a more detailed description soon. Pics surely will not appear before january . Klaus-Dieter
  16. Thank you very much for that information, Christian! I don't think so, legobear, since the set name is called King's Battle Chariot. And I don't think that the queen will fight with a sword against some ugly trolls. As I already mentioned, blueandwhite: Imo the queen surely will be included either in an Impulse set or - which I think is more supposable - in the Castle jubilee set. Klaus-Dieter
  17. Thank you very much for that information, Christian! Looking at the (regrettably not very detailed) description it seems as if the Echo Base set will include a big laser canon and the Endor Battle Playset will include lots of minifigs. When you compare the pieces with the pieces in now exisiting sets I bet that the Echo Base will be 26-30 Euros and the Endor Battle Playset 100 Euros. But perhaps the Endor Battle Playset iseven more since it seems to include many minifigs (which means that the rest of the set is surely designed very similar to the Hoth Rebel Base set). So I ope we'll see some pics soon. But that surely won't take place before january - so long to wait! Klaus-Dieter
  18. Thank you very much for that information, legomilk! That sounds like a great (and expensive) year! I can't wait to get more information. Klaus-Dieter

You're right, Pencoin, but I meant the last years (the next time I'll express me better ). Klaus-Dieter
  20. Hello everybody! Since some of you already know that I'm studying history and German for teacher for the middle school, I of course are very interested in history. One of my special interests in this subjekt is Roman architecture. SOme years ago I went to an excavation. Since I'm very fascinated by the rich civilians' city villa's I decided to designed a Roman villa. Here is a plan of a Roman villa I found in the internet to show you how it roughly looked like: And here is my MOC: Roman Villa First of all: A short overview over the villa with its garden: The front of the house with its entrance in the middle, a bar on the left side and a shop on the right side: The entrance: The right side of the house: shop and dining room downstairs, balcony upstairs: The right side of the house: kitchen, stairs and bar downstairs, three sleeping rooms upstairs: The atrium: The garden: More pics can be found in this folder in my BS gallery (when public). Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  21. Thank you very much for that information, cagri! I (supposably) won't care about these sets since they surely wilk include orcs . I look forward to buy the amazing Medieval Market Village and - depending on what it'll include - perhaps the jubilee set. I totally agree with you, Matteo Kenobi! I, too, think that the Drawbridge Defense will be something very similar to the Gargoyle Bridge from KK 2 - perhaps a bridge with a gate, a catapult and some crownies and orcs. Klaus-Dieter
  22. That's an amazing MOC, DNL! I really it! It's so realistic and includes so many details! Very well done! Btw: Do you have some pics of the inner courtyard, too? Klaus-Dieter
  23. That's a great Castle MOC, Guss! I really like the calm atmosphere in which the knight manifests his love to his mistress - very lovely! But then he wants to kill her - ! The whole landscape looks very realistic. The tree looks very authentic, too, only the lower parts of the flowers on top of the tree make the tree looking somehow a bit like a cactus . Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  24. I totally agree with you, BRICKLANTA! But please not again some re-releases but new sets! For the Indians I have a special wish/idea: What about including two tribes in a possible new Western theme?! Reasons: 1. This would make the sets for AFOLs more realistic and for JFOLs more attractive to play with. 2. This would avoid all the ethical problems which would appear if there would be only one Indian tribe - and this one released together with some soldiers sets. Some additional ideas for the City theme (I think mall/shopping center was alreads mentioned): Federal Criminal Police Office securing of evidence team with site of crime civilian police officers with civilian police car forensic investigation computer shop power plant service car Thanks. Klaus-Dieter
  25. You're welcome. I must admit that - supposably since I'm form Europe and not very familiar with American architecture - I didn't know that art deco is a real existing architecture style. I thought that the name "Art Deco Movie Theater" was an invention of yourself. So sorry. But nevertheless it's of course a brilliant MOC and I'm very surprised how your town hall then will look like! Klaus-Dieter
