  1. Hello everybody! While browsing through BS I found following great saloon MOC which the designer called "Old West Saloon": Here is the link to the designer's gallery. Isn't that a really great saloon?! I really it - especially the floor downstairs with the table with seats, the piano and the bar. A guest room would fit better in the floor upstairs - but the idea of a bathroom is nice, too. Share your thoughts. Klaus-Dieter
  2. That's a great MOC, Lego Parrot! I really like this news room - it includes some very lovely and realistic details! I wish TLG will release a new TV theme in the future with more sets like a news room, an OB and other amazing stuff like this! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  3. Thank you very much for your nice comments, Courleciel, KimT, Commander_Rob, Darth_Legois and pr0visorak! Oh, sorry. Klaus-Dieter
  4. These are great ideas you mention here, donneyboy, samthelegoman1 and Mocha! Excellent ideas, donneyboy! A mayor, a rocker (or a musician group in general) and an old person in an electric wheelchair would be perfect additions to our Lego Citys which haven't been existing until now. Klaus-Dieter
  5. Thank you very much for your nice comments, Mariko, Darth_Legois and Monki! Thanks, Mariko! I like very much the old classic Town sets such as Main Street etc. - and the new 10184 Town Plan is simply . So I wanted to design something in classic style, too. Thanks, Darth_Legois! Food related sets were always my favorite sets. And I even like(d) very much to design own snackbars, restaurants, etc. Perhpas that's because I really like eating good food, too. To the fence: I personally don't like it to have an upper plate for the fence since this fence is a fence around a park. And when you add an upper plate to the fence it looks imo a bit like prison or at least a very guarded house. Thanks, Monki! I don't like sets where you only have got buildings but (nearly) no interior - that's really bad. So I really like to add a lot of nice detials to my MOCs in order to make them more lovely and realistic. Klaus-Dieter
  6. That's an absolutely amazing MOC, RebelRock! I really it - it's a really masterwork! It looks so realistic and with so many awesome details! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  7. These are two great MOCs, benny! I really them! The only thing which I would change are at the little vehicle the red colors of the round bricks and the bricks under the steering wheel - imo dark grey (like the rest of the vehicle) would look better. Otherwise these vehicles are looking very realistic. Yes, fsh market is a really good idea - I hope TLG will release some sets based on this theme in the future, too! Do you plan to design a fish cutter and a sifh market, too? - That would be surely amazing! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  8. Thank you very much for your nice comments, DutchRebel, Oky Wan Kenobi and pedro! I'm not sure. In principle it's no custom minifig since I only changed the yellow color of the hands and the head into skin color. But I must admit that I'm not very familiar to which minifig has to go to the Minifig customization forum and which not. But thanks for the hint, Oky Wan Kenobi! Klaus-Dieter
  9. Thank you very much for that great review, CopMike! There are two things which disturb me a bit when looking at this new version of Darth Vader's TIE Fighter(apart from that a new version is imo unneccassary - I would have prefered another OT set coming out in the beginning of 2009 ): 1. The missiles - for what do we need them?! - Ok, kids will like to have some action elements coming with this set. Were there really some included in Vader's fighter? - I can't remember. 2. The helm - why is it that humble?! Does Vader navigate his fighter with his feet?! But all in all it's a very well designed set. Thanks. Thank you very much for that information, Steff! Klaus-Dieter
  10. That's again an excellent piece of masterwork, Teddy! I really, really that really functioning mechanism for the drawbridge and the new building you designed (Will you add some interior to it, too?! - That would be amazing! ). Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  11. That's a very nice MOC, Captain Cavinano! I really like it. It looks very authentic! Very well done! Btw: Do you plan to add a canvas, some oars and some hoplite minifigs to it, too? - That would be amazing! Klaus-Dieter
  12. Hello everybody! I wanted to show you my last LDD MOC already some time ago - but had no time to do so. Now I've got a bit time. So here it is: City Center part 1 You're on a trip through your Lego City. It's noontime and you're hungry. So go to the snackbar and have a snack and a drink. After that you can relax in the little park. And what do you plan to do after that? It's your turn. The first part of the City Center includes a snack bar with two tables, a little park with fountain, a cook, a woman, a man, a dog and a lot of accessory. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  13. Here noy a more precise comment: I voted for Above Average since it was/is a great outback set. Mainly the vehicles are very well designed. And even the landscape is great. The only thing which I don't like that much (and because of which I didn't vote for Outstanding) is that the hut is very little and that includes only one chair - what shall that be?! That's the same like with the gold mine in the amazing Western set (which you can find in my Legoredo diorama, too): The set itself is great - but there is only one chair as interior in the mine! Shall this be a commode?! No, seriously, only one chair as interior makes really no sense . But otherwise it's really a great set and I hope that one day TLG will come back with some outback sets. Do you plan to buy some of the next year's new amazing City set, too? So again thanks for the review, TheBrickster. Klaus-Dieter
  14. That's a great MOC, Dan Church! Apart from the man which somebody has buried in the sand I really like it. It looks really realistic! Did the bar keeper mix that bad drinks that the tourists buried him in the sand and now mix their drinks by themselves? Very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  15. Thank you very much for the great review, 5150 Lego! In general I really like the design of this set - it's very well designed (mainly the car)! But the trailer looks a bit as if it would be designed of only one mold - and it's really a shame that TLG didn't include a back door to the car . Thank you. Klaus-Dieter
  16. That's a great MOC, Brickadier General! I really like it! It looks very realisitc. I mainly like the foliage, the minifigs and how you built the stairs with the railing. Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

    City '09?

Thank you very much for that information, Steff! BTW: Has anyone yet bought the construction side and knows whether the house includes some interior? Klaus-Dieter
  18. Hello everybody! Since I'm really a fan of getting as much different OT officers/generals/commanders/... as possible in order to more playabitliy and more realism, I thought it would be nice to have a "new" Imperial Shuttle Pilot. Here is the result: If TLG releases a new Imperial Shuttle I hope it'll come with this minifigure, a black suited officer and a gangway which opens in the front. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter
  19. That's a great idea, Captain Zuloo! A hangar for a little plane would in general be awesome! I've got a new idea, too: TV tower with little bottom house (ticket and souvenirs shop), elevator and little turnable restaurant on top (the elevator and/or the turnable restaurant may be functioning by PF) Of course this would be a S@H Exclusive and no regular set. But I really would like to get something like this. What do you think about that? Klaus-Dieter
  20. That would be a great idea, Captain Zuloo! I have got two new ideas, too: For the City theme: TV tower with little bottom house (ticket and souvenirs shop), elevator and little turnable restaurant on top (the elevator and/or the turnable restaurant may be functioning by PF) For the Castle theme: fount with knight and his wife, some deer (perhaps even some forest men or robber-knights) Thanks. Klaus-Dieter

    City '09?

Can anyone imagine what'll be included in the City Life set? Like already mentioned I really would like to see a post office and a little restaurant/snack bar included. A post officer with a ayellow bicycle would be ! But I have even a new thought: Do you think that it'll include a bigger building (similar to the one in the big construction side set in january) with more than only one floor? - That would be ! Klaus-Dieter
  22. That's a totally amazing MOC, Monki! I really it. It looks very realisitic and like an official Lego set! If only TLG releases something like that! Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
  23. Thank you very much for the great review of this great set, TheBrickster! Klaus-Dieter
  24. That shouldn't be criticism on you - but criticism on the source, Justin2224. Then this polls make sometimes really sense! An annotation to the Endor set: I bet that it'll come with two Ewoks but without Endor Rebel Troopers. (To include only one Ewok wouldn't make much sense. The Endor Rebel Troopers might be inlcuded in the Home 1 set - if we hopefully get one.) Klaus-Dieter
  25. Yesterday evening I had an idea: Might it be that the Drawbridge Defense set includes a drawbridge of the orcs which is attacked by the crownies? I know that that sounds a bit - but you can never know. As for the troll's fortress I think that - like someone already wrote - it'll be very similar to the Viking fortress, too. But I don't think that there'll be a lot of landscape and foliage which comes with it - perhaps some rock pieces, but that'll it. Perhaps TLG even uses the new wall bricks with the little "window" in it. Klaus-Dieter
