Thank you very much for your nice comments, MacK and DJ Force! Thanks, MacK! Yes, I really would like to see TLG releasing some new TV/Studios sets - but not based on a movie maker set but based on regular City sets! I already designed some TV MOCs with LDD. The idea for a car chase is great! I'll present you my version of it still today and would like to read how you like it. Thanks, DJ Force! The house fcade hall be only a set. The idea of adding brown bricks to the back to show that this is a set is a great idea! I'll think about that if I deign another TV MOC with LDD which could include a et. Klaus-Dieter

I believe and hope that, too! But since it'll come with a (supposably big) transport vehicle it surely will be not cheap. I'm even surprised whether it'll stand directly on the ground or whether there will be a little mountain included (like in the 4999) on which it stands. Be that as it may - it surely will be a great set, awesome desgin and green energy for our Lego Citys!!! Klaus-Dieter

Hello everybody! Here's my next - ans supposably for the next time penultimate LDD MOC I'll show you until February: TV Dolly In Action Pieces: 195 Price: 28,57 Euros And action! The dolly rolls on its tracks next to the scenery for the new cinema movie. Help the cameraman with filming the sequence and the sound engineer with receiving the sounds! This set comes with a dolly on tracks, a house front, two floodlights, technical equipment, a woman, a little boy, cameraman, camera assistant and female sound engineer. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

From what I know I must partly disagree with you, WhiteFang: It's right that that there will be no regular sold train sets this year (or at least it seems so). But I think that there'll be an exclusive train set this year: (source) Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for those pics, whung! The little promo set is ok - but I wouldn't pay only one cent for it since it's imo dispensable. Like already mentioned before I don't like that ariplane - it looks more like Creator than like City. And which sense does an ice cream stand make in that set?! It seems as if TLG didn't know what they should add to the plane! But I'm really lucky that - apart from these two promo sets - all these awesome City summer sets seem to be available in regular shops or at least at S@H! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for your nice comment, DJ Force! I actually watched "1,2 oder 3" in my childhood - but surely not too much - perhaps maximum 10 sequels. But I must say that I really liked it. This blue bear was always that lovely. But I always regarded those kids with envy when they were allowed to pick up some of the toys (and there were often great Lego sets, too whereas I had at that time nearly no Lego set!!! ). When I search for pics of TV camcorder in google it seems as if my designed TV camcorder is not a antiquity - but surely it's for inside use (or for big outside programs such as soccer plays). But thank you nevertheless for your hint! Since you speak of an "Außenreporterteam" then you my perhaps like that? Klaus-Dieter

Hello everybody! Here is my next TV MOC I want to show you: TV Reporters Pieces: 43 Price: 9,10 Euros The TV reporters meet a woman in a park for an interview. Let's unpack the reporters equipment and begin the interview! This set comes with a park bench with some foliage plants, one female civilian, a TV reporter, a cameraman, another TV man, a camcorder, a microphone and a lot of other accessory. Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

I firstly noticed today when looking again at the blurry pics of the new amazing summer sets that there is a second street lamp (on the plate of the bucycle shop). I think that the bicycle shop won't include any doors and windows - or at least no door - since the place between the center peer and the two outwalls is imo 6 stuck. And it might well be that there is no roof. Hopefully then there will be a roof and a door on the left side and two big transparent wall bricks in the front of the house. If there would be no windows and doors that would be really a pity since it would destroy the whole other excellent outside design (we regrettably do not yet know how it looks inside) of the lovely bicycle shop! I know that I'm very ambitious and perhaps bother some of you with that - but it's like it is. As for the price of the set I'd guess that it'll be 89,99 Euros - but that would be ok for that  set! Btw: Since there already will be the garage as a big set for summer: Does someone know whether the brilliant City Corner will be an exclusive, limited or hard to find set or a set which is only available at some special toy shops? Klaus-Dieter

I would guess DS Trooper, Leia, 2 Scout Troopers, Chewbacca, 3 Ewoks, Han, R2-D2 and 2 Endor Rebels. CopMike Those are the exact same guesses that I would have come up with. I wish all these minifigs will be included in the Endor set, too, CopMike and KimT! But don't you think that three Ewoks are a bit too much to await - two yes, but three?! Since it seemed (we were aible to read a part of a chat some months ago) that TLG will include some Endor Rebel Troopers in the Mon Calamari Cruiser set I'm really surprised that TLG will include them in the Endor set, too . Which minifigs do you think that TLG will then include in the MCC? (Since then the Endor Rebel Troopers aren't really new - and only one new minifig (Admiral Ackbar) is really not too much, is it?!) I don't give my hopes up for getting a Rebel Captain/Commander/... in the Hoth set - although it seems to be very unsupposably! Klaus-Dieter

That's an awesome street scene, Sir von Lego! The houses look very realistic and full of amazing details in architecture! I really the interior of the bar and the little park with the fountain! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for your nice comments, TheBrickster and AwesomeStar! Thanks, TheBrickster! Yes, I really liked and still like these little sets and the new Impulse sets - very good quality and good opportunity to get lots of minifigs and accessory for a reasonable price. Thanks, AwesomeStar! You think Stauder might like it for his EB news? Klaus-Dieter

I don't know how you feel about this discussion on whether posting blurry pics of the new amazing summer City sets in the first post or not - I'm very bored about that. Everybody can search the set numbers on BS and then find pics. Only an idea: Perhaps there could be posted in the first post a link to one BS folder with all the new pics. Back to the sets: I didn't yet comment on the new Creator house: It looks awesome! I really hope that TLG will release a house in this design in the City theme in the next years, too - how amazing a big apartment house (like the new Playmobil one) would be!!! Btw: I wish you all a happy new year! I hope that you all are and will stay healthy, are going to design as excellent MOCs like before and will have enough money to buy all Lego sets you want to own! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that news, The Penguin! I have a question: So there are not R2-D2, Chewbacca and two Endor Rebel Troopers included in the Endor set - only Han, Leia, 2 Scout Troopers, 2 different Ewoks and a DS Trooper?! Btw: I wish you all a happy new year! I hope that you all are and will stay healthy, are going to design as excellent MOCs like before and will have enough money to buy all Lego sets you want to own! Hello everybody! I wish you all a happy new year! I hope that you all are and will stay healthy, are going to design as excellent MOCs like before and will have enough money to buy all Lego sets you want to own! Since I luckily have still semester holidays until Tuesday I even have more free time. So I designed this evening some little TV MOCs with LDD. Reason: I really would like to see a new TV and Studios theme - but this time with real studio (building!), camcorder crane, dolly, ... and a big outside broadcast van! The first little MOC I want to present you is following: TV Cameraman Pieces: 22 Price: 2,64 Euros Every film-studio needs a cameraman! This set comes with a big film-studio camcorder and a cameraman. And from the other side: Comments are welcome! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that pic, KimT! From what you can see on the part of this pic the Tauntaun looks very well designed. Like some others, too, I really hope that in the Echo Base set there won't be included Han - we do have him now for two times (in the 2nd version of the Millenium Falcon and in the 3rd version of the X-Wing). That's now enough! A Hoth Luke - or even much better - a Hoth captain or commander is much more needed!!! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for the pics, weelean! The tow truck looks really nice. The sports car is with the tree is ! Does somebody see what that other red-white-transparent "thing" in this set shall be - a telephone box or a fuel dispenser? Again I must summarize that it is great to see a lot of civilian sets with two great buildings (in the City Corner set  ) and cars with doors !!! I hope that TLG is going on with those civilian stuff in the next years!!! The only three things which disturb me are - like already mentioned - the red color of the bicycles and the absence of a post office and - which I forgot to mention - that there are no kids included in the sets. We're luckily now getting female minifigs - but where are kids?! TLG has the mold for the little pants (which they even use e. g. for the dwarves in the "Castle" theme). I always thought that Lego shall be a toy for the whole family. So why don't we then get some kids, too?! I totally agree with you, weelan! TLG from time to time doesn't complete their sub-themes in the City theme. So I hope that we'll get e. g. a farm house and more additional farm stuff in 2010, some TV sets with of course a TV studio (like you already mentioned) - and of course more of these amazing sets like City Corner, the Camper and the Sports Car! I'm so much waiting for a new (big) post office, a bank with security transport car, a food shop and an apartment house!!! Klaus-Dieter

I ordered mine about one and a half hour ago for 99,99 Euros plus 4,50 Euros postage. I'm very lucky to get it for that really fair price. Hopefully the order did arrive at Lego (I didn't get a mail until now) - it was the first time that I ordered on Lego's homepage at not via telephone. I'm really looking forward for building up this set! I'll then set it up next to the blacksmith shop (from some years ago) and will create a medieval market place of which I'll surely show you pics. Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for that information, Dennimator! Great to see the bus being only 6 stuck wide and not 8!!! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for the pics, MAH4546! These new City sets look totally awesome!!! 7639 Camper: It's got a great design - with car doors!!! The only thing with disturbs me is that the camper is really, really big and tall. On the other hand this would open the chance that it'll include a great interior with lots of amazing details such as a little kitchen, a table with seats and a bed. I'll surely buy this set but I think that 20 Euros surely won't be enough for it - sooner 30-40 Euros. 7641 City Corner:  After Town Plan this is simply the best City set ever!!! It's got an awesome design - mainly the pizzeria building with three floors!!! It's great to get a bus and a bicycle shop in this set, too. The pic is regrettably too blurry to be able to say something about the bicycle shop - it's very little but that doesn't automatically mean that it'll be bad. The bus stop is a bit - but the main thing is the bus, isn't it?! When you look into the first floor of the pizzeria you could imagine that there's a white pizza oven. I think that then there's the room for the guests to eat their pizzas on the second floor and perhaps a bed room on the third floor - that would be really ! There are some really nice details included in this set, too: the skateboarder, a foliage plant, pizzas and a street lantern . I'll surely buy it (even it costs 90 Euros which is imo more realistic than 70 Euros) - it is a must-have for every big City fan!!! Hopefully we'll see a lot of add-ons for this set in the next years!!! One of the very few things about which I'm a bit disappointed is that in both these sets there'll going to be a red bicycle. Why red?! - I do nearly no nobody who drives a red bicycle! If only TLG would use a different color - but please no red! 7642 Garage: These are exactly my feelings about this set, too. Of course it's got an amazing design and a lot of great details and vehicles! But it's really a bit too airy. Instead of the garage for the big orange truck it would have been better to add a roof to the main building but let the back open. Nevertheless it'S of course a great and very well desgined set. But I momentarily don't plan to buy it. Great to see TLG releasing that many civilian stuff - and even more than one floor big civilian buildings!!! BIg compliment to TLG!!! More civilian stuff on!!! Btw: Does someone see whether the bus is 6 or 8 stuck wide? Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for your nice comments, Asuka and TheBrickster! Thanks, Asuka! There are two reasons why I didn't add some minifigs to this my MOC: 1. At that time I had only very few civilian minifigs which don't belong to an official set (and I strictly detach official sets from MOCs). And for this shopping mile a lot of minifigs would have been necessary in order to make it looking good, realistic and lively. 2. I don't like to add minifigs to a MOC which shall not have an official Lego set character since they distract the viewer from looking at the details of the set (and when there are minifigs you even can't see all details on pics since they disguise some of them). But of course you're right: With a lot of minifigs going shoppins in the mile it would look much more lively - and with that even perhaps more lovely. Thanks, TheBrickster! I firstly thought about designing some escalators and then include them in this my MOC, too. But how?! Do you have an idea how to design them? Fact is that fully functional escalators aren't possible (or at least I don't know how to design them that they'd be fully functional). And which glas bricks would you use for the "side walls" of the escalators? I think that designing a really good and realistic looking escalator is nearly impossible. Klaus-Dieter

Blurry but nevertheless pictures of the "Castle" sets and the new awesome City sets appeared in the last days. So I think - and of course hope - that it won't take a long while until we'll see some blurry pics of the new summer SW sets. I'm very excited if the Endor battle set will come with some big trees and other foliage plants or not and how big the bunker will be. Klaus-Dieter

Great idea for a new topic, Govenor Broadside! Although I don't own it (I do only own very few Pirate sets) my favorite one is the 6277 Imperial Trading Post , too. Klaus-Dieter

Hello everybody! The last days were - apart from the great Christmas holidays where you hopefully got a lot of (Lego) gifts, too - some very exciting days where we got a lot of new information about new sets for next year's summer. After I had read all this information I thought that it would be right to reward all people which bring and brought us news about new sets, shared us pics, posted links and gave us price and availability informations with an award in the from of creating a groop called "News Academy" (similar to the Reviews Academy) which members then would have a sign with an "N" on it in their avatar (similar to the "R" for the Reviews Academy). These people namely have to work hard in order to get this information/these pics - and often it's not without riscs for them. Of course this award should not be given immediately - the news must firstly be proofed. But at the latest after we have seen the sets appearing on Lego S@H we know if the information/pic(s) were right. And then these members would get member of the "News Academy". I don't know how much work that would be for our admins which have to do a lot of hard work anyway - and which they do imo great. So it mainly would be their decision whether they wnat/can do something like that. But I thought that firstly it would be interesting to know how the general attitude towards my idea is. So please vote! Thanks, happy holidays and a happy new year! Klaus-Dieter
