That's again a great Western MOC, TheBrickster! I reall like the design of the bridge - very realistic! And the minifig is really cool, too! Perhaps a blue baseplate (if you own one) would fit better than the tan one. But otherwise there's really nothing to critisize. And the story behind your MOC is again great, too. Very well done! Knight's kingdom's Royal King's Castle is Back!
Klaus-Dieter replied to Patriot720's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This castle wasn't only ok, it was ! What had this castle in common with the original, awesome and so lovely detailed version from 1995?! - Nothing!!! It was only a remake of the KK 1 caslte and nothing else - only that TLG tried to sell it under the name of a "classic" product. That was really a shame! Klaus-Dieter -
What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Klaus-Dieter replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I totally agree with you, Zorbas! A Taxi Station with two taxis, a little office and some minfigs, perhaps even a little shop or something like that would make a perfect addition to the awesome Town Plan and the amazing City Corner! Klaus-Dieter -
Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I bet that they'll sell a seperate carriage, too. The dark green is indeed a great color. I hope that TLG will use it in more City sets in the future - a forester's or hunter's jeep in dark green would be great, don't you think?! Do you mean that the carriage only includes seats for 4 minifigs or do you mean that there are only 4 minifigs in this set? Because: There are regrettably only three minifigs in this set! Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Well, supposably you're all right. It was only a thought ... But nevertheless I'm really wondering how TLG designs these tracks in the way that they're flexible. Perhaps similar to the functions in the tracks switchs. So supposably they'll be much more expensive than the regular tracks. I even ask myself if we need some flexible tracks. But supposably with that large locomotive in this awesome set they're necesary since the regular curved rails would have a too small radius - or am I here wrong, too? Anyway I can't wait until March the 28th when we'll see with which additional train sets TLG will surprise us! Klaus-Dieter- 559 replies

I totally agree with you, legoman! The RBR with interior and nice minifigs (and with an affordable price!) would be absolutely and be a dream becming for me true, too, since I've been waiting now for years for this set! So I hope it'll become real! Klaus-Dieter

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You in principle understood me right. It's clear that a 9V motorised train can not drive on RC tracks. But backwards it would be possible: a RC train running on 9V tracks. Klaus-Dieter- 559 replies

What New Themes or Sets would you like TLG to make?
Klaus-Dieter replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's a great idea, Capt. Bluebeard! And/Or some Japanese or Chinese sets for the City theme would be great, too, e. g. a little China Town for our Lego Cities with Chinese restaurant and a little shop. Klaus-Dieter -
Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You gave me an idea, legotrainfan: I could well imagine the Flexible Tracks being not a new kind of tracks which shall detach the RC tracks. But couldn't Flexible Tracks mean that these are some kinds of tracks which act as connecter between different types of tracks (so that you e. g. could build up a train layout with a circle of 9V and RC tracks or RC tracks and 12V tracks)? Because imo it wouldn't make much sense to release new tracks which shall detach the RC tracks since the new PF motors are based on battery power, too, and so need no "electric tracks" (like e. g. 9V tracks). If so we have to await only a very little set of tracks which could e. g. include two flexible tracks. What do you think? Klaus-Dieter- 559 replies

Yeah darkrebellions right they could make a secret project like the AT-OT and dropship I already mentioned that some months ago somebody showed us a list where a "UCS Tantive 4 playset" was mentioned (but it seems that nobody read my comments here ). I remember this possible set was even one choice for the 10th years anniversary set for which you were aible to vote for last year. I think that this might be - if this info was right - a very similar version to the UCS Rebel Blockade Runner - but with minifigs, accessory and some interior. But since this would not an "only UCS" set but something like a mixture of UCS and playset I even think that there'll be an "only UCS" set, too. Perhaps a statue of a famous character or something like that. Klaus-Dieter

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Bad news: Since I now really wanted to now whether there's a motor included in this awesome set or not I telephoned the Lego customer's service this morning. The woman at the phone looked through the parts list and then told me that there'll be no motor included in this set. I feared that! So let's see which additional sets we'll get and how expensive they and the motor, the tracks, the RC and the rechargeable battery will be. When I know that and after having information on whether there'll be a great Tantive 4 set and a great Castle jubilee set I'll decide whether I'll buy the Emerald Night or not since I'll surely be only aible to buy maximum two of these three possible sets. After having seen the movies about the new awesome SW sets on flickr I must say that - although I'm not that interested in all that action elements - TLG included some really good action features in these sets! Ok, the explosion function in the Endor bunker is really disappointing. But the "blasting-Rebeltroopers-away" feature in the Hoth set is really cool! And the feature to turn and move Ackbar's chair and the A-Wing in the Home One set is great, too! These are functions which make sense! We EB members don't get presents from our admins or some sponsors when we've got birthday - although that might be a good idea! (Sorry, CloneCommanderDelta7, of course I did understand what you meant. ) Klaus-Dieter

That's an absolutely amazing Train MOC, Tony! Although I must admit that when I saw the first part of this movie around Christmas on TV I really didn't like it. It was too corny and too extreme - plus you didn't know what really the plot shall be. But that has nothing to do with Lego, e. g. CW is imo and IJ is imo but many of the sets TLG made out of it are - and that's the same with your excellent MOC: I really it! It's perfectly designed and - if I remember right - all interior elements of the movie are inclued (even Santa Claus, the conductor, the cooks, ..., and that brain-minded person which makes a campfire on the train (how oafish of the scriptwriter )! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

That's an absolutely amazing MOC, Hinckley! I really it! It looks totally realistic with the great choice of colors and all that awesome details and accessory! Since I haven't seen the suitcases in yellow and red before: From which set do you have them - or are these self-made/self-painted/...? Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter

That's a great MOC, benny! I really this smart! It's very well designed and looks - with the car doors, labels and accessory - very realistic! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

Again a great WW MOC, TheBrickster! The story behind it is very good - but for me a bit, well, too bloody. I really that chapel! The size and architecture is perfect, the white fence and the black roof fits perfectly! I'd perhaps change the fence posts into brown or white color - but that's surely matter of opinion. The minifig looks very realistic in order to represent a pastor - good choice! Very well done! Klaus-Dieter

Thank you very much for this link, legomilk! Great action features (apart from the one in the Endor set - which is really no explosion ) TLG offers in the new amazing OT sets this summer! Klaus-Dieter

Wow... I didn´t notice that new hair piece before... it´s lovely! Thanks for pointing that out! Ah, I see... Alywin brought it up to in a previous post... seems like I overlooked that... Anyways... it´s simply great to see that TLC lays a lot more weight on the female share of the MF population these days! This hair piece (I guess you mean the woman's, don't you?) is indeed great - so does the new female torso! But you'd be ill to pay 17 Euros only for one minifig! There are much cheaper possibilities to get this great new female minifig: Ebay, brick order per S@H, ... Klaus-Dieter

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I think that TLG themself doesn't know yet - otherwise they would have clearly written in the set description whether a motor is included or not. Although this set is not that overpriced (about 110 Euros were mentioned) I feared before his set is not very cheap. So for 90 Euros imo a included motor would be justified! (Think about the last RC passenger train which now is sold for 110 Euros. It does include a motor, an RC, a little platform, tracks and of course the train itself. But when you detach the price for the tracks in the RC passenger train set it would be about 90 Euros. But for 90 Euros it would nevertheless include RC, motor, train and platfrom. Of course you can really not compare its design to the awesome design of 10194. But I'd say if TLG adds a motor (but no platform and no RC and no tracks) to the amazing Emerald Night train then the price performance ratio would imo be the same like in the RC passenger train set.) So let's see and hope that they'll include a motor! I even think that from TLG's point of view it would be better to include a motor. Because: If there's a motor already included then people (me included) would of course even buy tracks, an RC and a rechargeable battery. If they don't include a motor there surely will even be some people (me included) which will either buy no motor, tracks, RC and rechargeable battery - or who at least will firstly wait what the future will bring. Btw: Did you notice these two flat dark-green 4x1 bricks on top of the "oven" of the locomotive (in about the middle of it) - might it not be that the locomotive can be opened at that point into two "halfs" so you can put the PF motor inside? That's only an idea ... I even ask myself if the white light in the middle of the locomotive's front can light if you put a PF light behind that big black round brick. Klaus-Dieter- 559 replies

Exclusive Train 10194 Emerald Night (Exclusive 2009)
Klaus-Dieter replied to der seb's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank you very much for this information and the clear pics, Tony! Now 90 Euros is really not cheap. On the other hand we're getting a dining car - and I since a lot of years I have been wishing TLG releasing a dining car (I tried to design one with LDD some weeks ago - but the outcome was ) I think the price is ok! A dining car - ! I must get this set! I totally agree with you, Hinckley! I, too, don't understand why TLG didn't use the regular train doors. They would look much better and realistic plus then not that much bricks would be needed! And I miss some doors in teh locomotive. And it's really a pity that they missed to add a coffee machine to the cupboard in the dining car since now it looks a bit . But hey, that's that a  dining car in which even a little cupboard is included! And the main thing is that the dining car includes doors - whether they're better or not that's not that bad. Since this awesome train does will cost "only" 90 Euros and since Tony didn't mention something of a motor I think then there will be no motor included in this set. But never mind - if the motor will be very expensive (which I fear) then I will not buy one - you can even look at this train without having a motor it running. Great to hear that! And now that we know that there'll be a lovely dining car included in 10194 it absolutely makes sense to release a or some seperate waggons, too! What about a regular passengar waggon and a sleeping waggon? These would be awesome to add to this brilliant set! Some kind of "serive terminal" where the locomotive can be filled with water, sand and coal would be absolutely necessary and ! I already sold most of my classic SW sets of the years 1999-2002 last Christmas and so got - for my circumstances - a lot of money and now thought that I'll surely have enough money to buy all Lego sets I want this year. But no! Amazing train sets on! Klaus-Dieter- 559 replies

You're absolutely right, jeroend! I checked all the set numbers of the sets which we'll have to await this year but didn't find 7640 - even not on BS. So there are three possibilities: Either the set number was already used for a (City) set or this set number is for a set coming out next year (the set number sometimes aren't in the correct order when comparing them to the date of release of the sets) or there'll be another new set this year. But when you ask me I highly doubt it that TLG is going to release another new City set this year since there are already so many sets already released, we'll get totally awesome Town sets this summer and surely anamzing Wind Turbine Transport set and the great 10194 Emerald Night train. So I can't imagine that there'll be another - especially since there already was the Toy Fair and - apart from the Wind Turbine Transport - all regular City sets for this year were shown there. But who knows ... Klaus-Dieter

Again a totally awesome MOC, TheBrickster! I really it! The house is very well designed! I even like the big black tree (great color for a foliage plant in a Ghost Town subtheme! ) and the fountain! And again a great story behind it! Does the cottage have an interior, too? Very, very well done! Klaus-Dieter
