It's great to hear that there'll be only twelve minifigures in the future and that there'll be three complete waves in one box - so the chance that you can get the minifigures you want are much bigger and don't need that much money any longer. Hello everybody! ? A list for the Winter 2021 Friends sets appeared on the usual place: 41444 Organic Cafe (30 dollars), 41447 Park (40 dollars), 41448 Cinema (50 dollars), 41449 Andrea's House (70 dollars) and 41450 Shopping Mall (100 dollars) could be interesting if the buildings were (minimum) two floors tall, had decent sidewalls and if the colors weren't too extremely girlish, don't you think?

I can't agree more! And yes, I could see all these sets in the dimension of Obi Wan's Hut, too. Plus Lars' Homestead is long overdue - as is a Bantha which would fit perfectly in it! If we got both, all scenes from "A new Hope" on Tatooine would be replayable with the sets of the past years - how awesome would this be?!

Since the past years TLG has introduced many new animals I made a list which animals we supposable will see and which animals I would like to see in the next years (only) inside the City theme. I devided between "reprinted part" and "new mould". Here are my first thoughts about the new Mos Eisley Cantina: What I dislike: the price (definately hundred Euros too much) no drumset player for the band again no BANTHA!!! What I like: a lot of minifigures - and many of them are completely new, partly even random characters two additional buildings very detailed exterior as well as supposable interior dewback included again the nice "rocket pod" a new landspeeder All in all I'm really looking forward to more detailed pics and reviews soon and mainly to then finally somewhen get the set myself, too! I hope that 2021 will see Lars' Homestead with BANTHA (not as D2C, but as regular set). If so then with the sets of the past years everything would be there to create and replay all scenes from "A new Hope" on Tatooine - which would be awesome!

Here are my hopes for the 2022 Trains theme: road-track possible signal light repair truck (like the one in 7936, but six studs wide and much more elaborated) - 20 Euros train rail crossing (like 7996 Train Rail Crossing), but with four arms so you can have two trains runnning parallel - 30 Euros commuter train (similar to 7938, but in green, at the best lime green) (please no highspeed train since in the past two Trains theme there always had been one) - 140 Euros fire fighting train (prefered because something completely new) or track repair train (similar to 3677) - 200 Euros huge, minimum two floors tall train station (with ticket booth, railway control center, bistro, grocery, Lego store and indoor waiting area) and a handicapped accessible taxi van (could be the year's D2C set then and fit very well two years after the Main Square from 2020) - 100-180 Euros What do you think? And which sets would you like for the 2022 Trains theme? Sorry, I didn't want to temper awesome ideas; I only wanted to avoid too big hopes in order to that then people may well get disappointed. Only have a look at Lego Ideas: Everybody thought that the 10k playable aquarium will be selected by the Ideas theme because this MOC was something completely new and would have been awesome for people who like aquariums but can't afford a real one (because of money, place or work).

That's a simple but effective and very nice looking bus station, @Terryoleary! I would suggest to put a 2x8 plate between the yellow modified bricks and the blue modified plates to have it more stable. Otherwise fine.

Or it could be about exploring leftovers of ancient cultures like Middle Agesor Stone Age, with some ruins and trees and a lot of exploration vehicles - like @Brandon Pea proposed earlier. Yes, of course. I could even well imagine a cross-over between industrial and animal research which would offer diversity for adults and enough playability and action for kids: naturalist with moutainbike and otter's cave - 10 Euros forester's offroad car with hunting stand and reindeer - 20 Euros (wood) harvester, wood transport truck and wolf - 50 Euros forester's hut, sawmill with small crane, wood transport barge and fox (new mould) - 100 Euros And these could btw tie well the Ski Resort, the Winter Village sets and a possible City moutain rescue theme, too. What do you think?

I had one more look at the park in 60271: Could it be that the Robin Hood statue is a hint for a Forest of Forest Expedition wave next year? The reason this came to my mind is that TLG has included these "hints" already from time to time in the past years: "FAIR" poster in Downtown Fire Brigade in winter 2019 => Fun at the Fair People Pack in summer 2019 Snow Groomer in winter 2019 => Ski Resort in summer 2019 Diving Yacht in winter 2018 => Ocean Exploration sets in summer 2019 Rescue Helicopter in winter 2018 => Hospital in summer 2018 Cargo Terminal in summer 2017 => Trains sets in summer 2018 Volcanoe Exploration sets in summer 2016 => Jungle Exploration sets in summer 2017 (< a volcanoe is often surrounded by jungle) Plus there have cross-overs between different subthemes and the same time or some time later: Elite Police sets in summer 2020 => museum in the city hall in Main Square in summer 2020 Arctic Exploration sets in summer 2018 => Ötzi statue in the museum in Capital City in 2018 "Beach Party" in the Bus Station in summer 2017 => Fun at the Beach People Pack in summer 2017 -"- => bank security truck and bank security container in Cargo Train in summer 2018 bank in Bulldozer Break-In in winter 2017 => bank security truck in Moutain River Heist in winter 2018

Having a look on your list it seems very likely, @Brandon Pea. Nevertheless it'll depend on how well a theme sold. And I had the impression that VE didn't do that well. Plus TLG has been releasing a minifigures pack every year from 2016 onwards, but now decided to not release a minifigures pack this year - surely because the ones last year didn't sell well. So ...

Oh yes, thanks - I was lost in translation and mixed it up with double decker. Nevertheless and even then I highly doubt that an articulated bus will ever happen because of three reasons: 1. For a standalone set it would be much too pricey. 2. If being decent sized, for smaller kids it would be bulky. 3. Only a huge town plan style set could include it - and then a tram seems more interesting since outside of these kinds of sets a tram will never happen (, too). Well, you might be right. Yes, these two busses were great! Til now I personally like the transit bus from the PublicTransport System the most. But City busses so far were amazing - as well as all trams. Friends had one in the Art School, too, which fitted much better in size to City.

Thank you very much for the news! 30576 Christmas Tree: I don't like it and imo it fits in style not for the WV but more as a standalone. Because of the packaging I bet it'll be some 4 Euro set to buy and no GWP since in the last years the Christmas GWPs were always much bigger and their design much more elaborated plus they were packed in boxes with the typical red "limited + year" sign on it. 10275 Elf Club House: Til now we only can judge the exterior, but ... What I dislike: four equal torsos only elves and no "normal" minifigures again fantasy stuff set instead of something located in the village itself window (instead of door) to the balcony door is round only one deer - and this one can't move its head very small sled What I like: new architectual design with the to upstairs sloped roof and the side parts add to the building - and (in contrast to last year's Gingerbread House) it goes well with the most other WV houses we've gotten so far new deer mould new design of the Christmas tree new design for the old computer a lot of accessory design of the small sled All in all I'm really looking forward to this set, but at the same moment I'm hoping that next year we'll see a realistic shop to add to the center of WV. Btw: Has someone an idea where the chimney is attached to the building (I mean the stable is for sure as deep as the building)? Or will it stand seperately (which wouldn't make much sense I think)?

I don't know why, but I've got a feeling that Volcanoe Explorers won't have a comeback next year. I bet for Jungle. (Friends had Jungle this year, so City will follow next year - like it was in 2016/2017.) But perhaps it's only because I don't see any bonus of a new Volcanoe Explorers theme - all possible vehicles have been done and I can't imagine any new (moulds for) plants and animals which would be fitting and interesting in this theme. What do you think? Yes. It's esp. bad that when we get a list of sets and don't have a detailed set description or at the best pics of the set, nobody knows whether the set will be a 4+ set or not (it's only nearly for sure when the price is more than sixty Euros). So you're looking forward to a set and then you're totally disappointed when you see that it's a Juniors set - in my case this was with the garbage truck last year. BUT even the non-4+ sets get more and more like 4+ sets. I mean: Look at this year's police station or bank - they are only a bad joke and nothing more. It seems as if TLG puts more and more the focus on very young kids and designed many City sets this year for them.

Ok, then it is obvious. Yes, please! There has been only one transit bus so far - the one in Public Transport System back in 2010. So I could see this very well happen: Add a bus driver and two passengers and then sell it for 20 Euros in the Great Vehicles theme, that would work for sure! I'd like one, too. But I don't see this soon because of two reasons: 1. An articulated bus was released already two years ago as a city tour bus in Capital City. 2. As a stand-alone set it would be around 30 Euros - and I doubt that kids and parents will pay this money for only one common road vehicle with no extraordinary action stuff. I really like these completely new ideas! For the Towing theme I'd recommend to add following complete new but even absolutely neccessary sets: Cross-country Fire Fighters At Car Accident (30 Euros) black offroad car big cross-country fire engine minifigures: offroad car driver, 2x fire fighter with respirator accessory: hydraulic spreader, hydraulic cutter, water cannon, fire axe, fire drencher Motorcycle Paramedic At Longboard Accident (10 Euros) white motorcycle with paramedic sign minifigs: teenager (skateboard helmet + hair piece), paramedic with motorcycle helmet accessory: longboard (new mould), two grey suitcases with paramedic sign on it, injection, infusion What do you think?

I built up the most parts of the set yesterday (I don't build up all, so I didn't make a review): Although it's very small (only 8x16 baseplate), the City Diner looks very realistic. I esp. like how much interior there's included to make it looking as closly as a real burger restaurant. Neat detail: There's even the big pot inside the cupboard! BUT since we got a burger stall already last year and since shops are extremely rare in Lego City anyway, I would have prefered a shop instead. I think that you've already seen enough pics showing that there is almost no interior downstairs in the town hall - and the one that is makes it more looking like a museum than a town hall. BUT the mayor's office upstairs is nicely done. And except for the green colored doors and that there aren't arches over these half-circle windows, I'm fascinated by the exterior: The architectual design is stunning and the building is much bigger in broadness (not deepness!) than I'd have awaited.

Since the D2C Mos Eisley set is rumored to have an VIP early access in mid September, I dount that the Elf Clubhouse will have, too. And if the Elf Clubhouse was going to be released in the beginning of October with no VIP early access, we for sure will get pics firstly at the end of September - so in about one months.

Plus I'd be happy if you subsricped to my already very new youtube channel. When speaking especially of the water scooter in this set, I must say that the one-molded from 1997 (although I don't own any, so only judging from pics) looked better and more realistic. Til now I personally liked the most the very detailed water scooters from the 2017 Deep Sea Exploration theme. I don't know how well available it is. I personally got it as a GWP when ordering on Smyths Toys. But that was already back in June.

A review (not mine) of the Main Square is up on youtube. I must honestly say that the more detailed pictures I see, the less attractive this set seems to me - apart from the heavily overpricing: - in total only four seats for passengers in the tram (the 2010 one had six, the 2015 one even eight) - although the limo is that long and there's so much space inside, there's only one seat in the huge compartment in the back - the park looks absolutely strange, like the front was planned and built, but for the back part the bricks went out (tiles in the front, but none around the fountain + three different colors of the railing + a sable instead of a sword for the Robin Hood statue + the small leafs on the trees aren't hold by plates so they will easily fall off) - only two new torsos and one new head, but useage of extremely old torsos

I can't agree more! WV is for me winter fun mainly in the winterly town itself and not fantasy stuff outside. Thanks for the informtion, TeriXeri! Absolute agreement here. The snowfort is cool, but the hill is much too small and I don't need another snowman and minimalistic sleigh. But for kids for sure a nice set.

I like your suggestions for Snow Police sets, @Powered by Bricks! The only thing I'm missing in there are much more winter-oriented vehicles, esp. for the police. So I'd say that there should be a small police snowmobile, a big police snowmobile with trailer, a small police crawler vehilce and a big crawler vehicle with trailer. Yes, that would be a nice idea! I really would like some moutain rescue sets! And I completely agree with you that for KFOLs they could be as interesting as CG sets and for AFOLs they would be even more interesting then a new CG wave since there have been so many CG waves over the past years but no moutain rescue wave (I don't count the excellent stuff in the Ski Resort since that's for me Snow Rescue).

Since TLG reuses the Harry Potter patronus as deer for the Elf Clubhouse, I can well imagine that they will make the two other HP animals as regular animals, too - esp. the seal which could be very useful for a City Coast Guard subtheme as well as for a Pirates theme. What do you think?
