Unsure about being on this side of the equation, she still makes sure she's standing as far back as she can, and hopes that this action has the desired effect. She closes her eyes, suddenly feeling very alone.

His megablocks exploded? Eeewwwwww. That's just gross. Although how Li'l Boy Wonder knew his bottom was the source of the explosion is anyone's guess. Well, considering Li'l Walter had said: it seems like a strange thing for Li'l Kiel to do to.

Please don't kill me. From my perspective, Nyx is still Nyx, and is still an ally to the other heroes, just standing on a different side.

"I like the reasoning Hans, but I'm not so keen on the side effect of it killing me. I don't think Cronk's Angel will protect me." Nyx looks over at the raft of heroes, with Wren amongst them. They seem so far away, and here she can hear the hoarse breathing of the Chaos Beasts near her; no communication, no strategy, just mindless minions grunting as they waited to react. She is not one of them, she's just fighting from a different stance, and she will not harm the heroes, no matter what happens when they try to heal her. "Hans, if we're going for an experiment, I have a Fire Bomb I can throw at you. It'll allow us to see what happens, but won't harm me and won't waste a potentially strong action. What do you guys think?" OoC: I'm not sure if rolls for Poletad healing me will follow his rolls or mine. I assume they would follow his rolls as that's what usually happens. Wouldn't it be nice if, as an enemy now, I had some awesome Wren killing Special?

Nyx watches the events with interest, but her expression remains impassive. She prepares a Light spell for Chaos Beast I from the back row. I don't mind at all! It's a really, really nice rendition of her, but I always visualise her as very pale skinned, and she always wears heels. Also: Zepher "I'll give it a couple of hours for Nyx to post" and then while I'm posting, FOURTY minutes later you post. Some people have no patience.

OoC: I was still half-expecting you to run the rest of the last round. Nyx visualises picking Arthur up by the throat, legs dangling, before throwing him into a corner, but knows that such an action would be counter-productive. Instead she takes a deep breath, and tries... to talk. "It might surprise you to know that I've listened to your ramblings. Maybe you are right and Wren is a true and beautiful goddess, but really, I doubt it. I only have to look at all the things she was willing to do in order to get to this point. All the lives she destroyed, whether those people be living or dead. Her past deeds are too awful to be balanced by anything she may do now. But you have faith in her beneficence? Enough faith to put it to the test? I firmly believe that Wren would claw at our backs if we merely decided to walk away and let her carry on. She will not let us live. But would she let you, a true follower live? Why not step up and take a free hit from her. Either she doesn't strike you and you protect those you care about (along with a number of the rest of us), or we're proved extremely right and don't have to listen to you going on about it all the time. That doesn't matter; part of my personal enjoyment of LEGO is viewing other people's cityscapes and how they've put them together. Plus I'm very envious of your monorails, so thank you for sharing your city with us. There's a huge amount of activity, and it's nice to see the little details you yourselves have added too. Absolutely! And really, that's the only thing that matters, but thank you for letting us enjoy it too.

That's ok, it was clear that that was only the beginning of the fight, however, as this is a continuation, you should have allowed the rest of that round to run, as the actions were valid. Including all the healing and attcky ones. Oh, and really nice jobs on the character pics everyone (and great find Legonater!), they all look great. I will definitely do one for Nyx.

Not really. The Hunter's Shield isn't much use if they already have the desired enemy Favoured, and the Beserker's Shield is of limited value if half the group is already Encouraged. And at least BKs get to attack all enemies, the major downside being the stunned effect that results. I would agree that it lacks gold-gaining ability, but then Battle Mage lacks area-of-attack ability.
