  1. Part 1: Diane purposely ignores all common sense to continue voting me. Part 2: Diane looks through my past games to find "similarities" in my behavior to make it look like she's actually using her head in her vote for me. I'm going to be honest here, I can't wait to flip town.
  2. Did I say that lynching me would break the town? Did I? Quote it, buddy, let's hear it. I said that having an attitude like Scott's which writes off every appeal I make as some sort of scum flail is what will break the town. And frankly, I'm right. If Scott and the others are town too (although I bet there are a few scum on my bandwagon), the scum will keep them alive so they can condemn more well-meaning townies to the gallows (or the plank or whatever it is here).
  3. It's attitudes like this that break a town. Rest in peace, sweet village. Don't even try to feign ignorance here. If you were in my position with no information, no real contact, etc. and a number that corresponds to a CITY set, you'd sure as hell make any assumptions you could.
  4. I appreciate your concerns, Diane, but if you look back, you'll see that I explained my original "lack" of a number. Thanks for your effort, though! Come again! What kind of "reactions" wouldn't be counted as "scummy", then? What logic am I supposed to argue with here? The trajectory of the sun and how spending a few minutes in traffic obviously affected my ability to read my role PM? I've given the facts: 1. I skimmed my role PM when I first received it, discounting the number completely 2. When people began revealing their numbers, I thought Bob had been sending them out at that time, and it was only for certain players. I saw no new message in my inbox, so I thought I was one of the ones without a number. 3. When it seemed that everyone had a number, I, confused, checked my role PM and saw that I had missed my number. I then promptly revealed my number. 4. As I'm not completely involved with the game yet (it's only Day 1), the name "Jordan" didn't trigger an "Oh, haha, that's me!" response, so thus I missed Lauren and Sandy's characters' posts to me. Honestly, there's no "good" reaction to a poorly formed accusation. Would you prefer me to get angry and curse you all out? Become selfdefeating and vote myself? Just let me know what you're looking for, I'd be happy to cater to your scumdar in any way I can. :hmpf: I'd think someone as experienced as you would know what I mean when I say that. When I say I want all the info up on the table, I don't mean anything about roles. You want my theory? Would it be "totally awesome"? I think all the vanillas have CITY sets. Yeah, I'm vanilla. I was hoping to avoid claiming, because the less info scum has about the roles, the better. And when I said "we all", I meant the group of us that has the CITY sets, not everyone. I don't get what it is with the reaction. If you people aren't going to give any suitable accusations, what can I do but laugh at your incompetence? Thanks, Cornelius, thank you oh so much for this helpful post and for your reasoning for your vote on me! Maybe you could elaborate so I could "react" accordingly? Now watch as people jump on my "reaction" to this too. The circumstances are different and you know it. Mary claimed a number that gave her a set that came completely out of left field, and then adjusted the number to better suit the fact that we all had real sets. If it had just beenn a forgetting her number sort of thing, yeah, I could understand that, but it's too much of a coincidence that her number led us to a real set that was completely off. I need to face it; once y'all get going, you sure don't stop. As soon as one of you finds one thing "wrong" with my behavior (such as the not checking for a number), everyone jumps on it and treats every word I speak as if I'm saying "I'm scum and am going to kill you and your family in your sleep !". If you're going to lynch me, fine, whatever. I'd really appreciate it if you could give some real reasons for your votes besides the fact that I didn't read my role PM all the way through and the fact that I have "bad reactions".
  5. I don't get what's so hard to understand here. It's Day 1 and my name has nothing to do with my username. Are you seriously going to push on me because I was still learning my character? I don't have time to fully address all of your concerns, but I'll be back later, so I'll do it then. In the meantime, try not to mindlessly bandwagon me to death.
  6. It's ironic because I actually made those mistakes. It seems I've become the pop star who cried wolf... I'll make sure to claim something other than bomb or mortician this time, though.
  7. Honestly, Babs, although you're right that we don't ~necessarily~ know what the numbers mean, the more info we have, the easier it'll be to catch liars (ie. scum). I see no reason not to share your number.
  8. If you don't want to believe me, that's cool, I understand. I certainly wouldn't believe you if our positions were reversed, so I'm not going to waste time getting pissed off about it. Hopefully my actions throughout the rest of the game will prove to you that I actually am town. And yeah, I was a bit busy, but things are leveling out now, so hopefully my mistake making days are over.
  9. I'm not going to lie, I actually completely forgot my name was Jordan this game. When I say Stacy's "Michael Jordan and the third guy" post, I glazed it thinking it wasn't relevant to me. I'll answer them now: Another embarrassing confession: I actually didn't check my role PM for the number when the numbers began to be revealed. I actually thought that God was PMing them to us at that moment, and didn't see a new message. When I saw that everyone seemed to have a number, I went back and checked my PM and double checked, and then saw my number. See above on the late claim. I have a theory on why we all have CITY sets, but I honestly think outing it out loud would help scum more than town.
  10. Right, dude? Un-swag; I'm low on pieces right now. Actually, I don't know if I should reveal this theory, but it's likely that the scum have already figured it out: what if the sets correspond to our roles somehow? If that's the case, I'd expect the serial killer (if there is one) to have a completely out of left field number - much like Mary's. Either way, the fact that she "misread" her number, giving her an actual set is incredibly unsettling. Had it been a nonsensical number I would have been a little more inclined to believe her (plus, if she lied about her number, she'd have definitely looked up the set before posting it as her "number"). It seems to me that she accidentally revealed something about her role/affiliation that she didn't want anyone to know about, and then covered it up by making up a new set number. Vote: Mary (TheBoyWonder) Lynch all liars, and there's definitely a lie in all of this.
  11. *hair flip* The fact that one player said that he'd vote for you because of your set number doesn't mean that you'll be lynched. Take a chill pill, babe.
  12. Woah, woah woah woah, false alarm, dudes. Just checked my ID again and now I see that my number is 4429. Swaggy. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=4429-1 And I was like, "Baby, baby, baby, ooh~" *hair flip* Well, baby, unlike those pretenders, I got my swag without any numbers or grammar (or, more accurately, lack thereof). My swagginess comes from who I am inside - from my glorious voice and stunningly charming boyish looks.
  13. Neither have I. This is totally un-swag.
  14. *hair flip* What's up, ladies? It's a real shame that my bodyguards got killed, but I've still got a few hundred more, so I think we're all good. What's this about a FABULAND day, though? Is FABULAND some amusement park where I'll be performing? I certainly hope there'll be some teenaged girls there; they are my only audience, after all. As long as I've got swag, the companies will keep giving me platinum, keep giving me my silver, keep giving me my gold.~
  15. *hair flip* Hey, bros and bro-ettes, what up? My name's Justin Jordan. I don't have a last name, although if I did have one, it'd definitely be Swag. Or maybe Swaggy. Hey, babes of the boat, which sounds better: Swag or Swaggy? Maybe Swaggity? Jordan Swaggity? That could work.
  16. I've reclaimed the use of my imagination; for better or for worse, I've yet to know

  18. 1. Might be a bit tight here and there, but I'll always have time to post every day. 2. Yeh, I have. Mafia history can be found on my profile.
  19. No I haven't, actually, but I've been meaning to. Honestly, it'd probably embarrass me at this point, but it'd be good to remind myself where I started and how far I've come.
  20. Yeah, we used PMs this game. I sure hope Writeboard isn't going out of style, though. It's quite useful for making sure nobody catches you talking to your scummos. And yes, def, thank you for the wonderful game! I had a great time!
  21. Nope. In fact, I had no idea I was blocked me until you told me.
  22. Well, congrats, fellow scummos! It feels good to survive another game. I have to admit, when Shadows contacted Alopex asking him to invite him into our scum PM, I was pretty skeptical (hence why we didn't join up until today ). Luckily for us, though, none of us were major kill targets, so waiting so late to unite didn't hurt us too badly.
  23. Pandora absolutely bled town, and if you are the town blocker, you had no reason to block her. Vote: Alopex Plus, I remember Hinck mentioning something about a town blocker to me on Day 2. Since you don't have "a network of PMs", I don't think it's you.
  24. def said they'd be able to convert more, right? That makes it completely balanced, then. Conversion is the strongest action in the game, giving the scum other actions to top it off might make the setup scumsided.
