  1. Actually, I think the comic was referring to Bud. Bud had spent a lot of time analyzing our given roles (stoner, geek, etc.) and voting people because of it. Hell, he even said to me in private "What's the point of roles if we can't use them to start suspicions". Good reaction, though, Claire.
  2. Yeah, I was pretty sure Bud was going to flip town after his last few posts. Meh, I guess someone has to be first. Interesting method of removing people from the school, though. Luckily, it looks like no one will be shedding any blood here. As for Sloane and Newton, I'm not necessarily unhappy that we lost them; while Loyal, I didn't have townreads on either of them. However, I think it's likely that Sloane was our "vigilante" of sorts (did anyone else notice that she was stuffing a large wrench into Newton's bag while a dark figure stuffed a gun into hers?), so that's definitely a loss if I'm right there. Meh. Let's see what we can do today with what we have.
  3. Actually, I'd be okay lynching Wendy too. I'm getting that "day 1 vibe" that Sloane mentioned from our lynch on Bud, crazy as he's acting. (I actually see a few people on the Bud wagon who I'd peg as scum, but I'm 99% sure I won't be able to get the backing to lynch them, so they can wait to be confirmed by night actions/later lynches.) Would anybody be up to switching before the deadline?
  4. I don't think you understand the first thing about this game. While it's good to roleplay and get into your character, these characters don't actually mean anything. Anyone could be Black Mesa, even someone well-off like me (or, more accurately, you ). What? Is this supposed to be a roleclaim? If so, you've done a laughably bad job. Unfortunately, the only role called "leader" is a minor role almost never used (when killed, all votes are anonymous for the day), and never used on this site. Vote: Bud Fox (Tohst) Theory: Bud's the godfather (with the flavor of Leader) who thinks claiming his real role name is going to get us to not lynch him.
  5. Sorry guys for being so quiet today, I've been slammed. Catching up now; I'll have a post in a while.
  6. Thanks for sheeping my reads completely. Any of your own you'd like to share? And what exactly am I looking for in my logic?
  7. This, basically. It's of course possible that he just went solo and made a mistake, but unlikely. Plus, he was casting a vote. Most noob scum don't dare. I have no read on Craig as he stands now, but your blatant OMGUS (you voted for him because he accused you; "Oh My God You Suck", you say, and vote him just for that) is going to force my hand. This is strike two, bucko.
  8. Really great job, Ricky. I suspect scum/lazy town are going to bandwagon onto him now; although he's been null thus far. I can see it now; our poor cocky mascot getting butchered for nothing. To be honest, I don't really have any reads yet. Gun to my head, I'd lynch Davey, but even that's not a concrete read. To be honest, he's going to flip town more likely than not too. Can everyone please speak up?
  9. Obviously. No, I was pretty sure there wouldn't be any importance of the numbers, I just figured asking everyone their number would reveal some interesting results. Not as interesting as I had hoped, but I still got some tells nonetheless. Thanks all! And why not? Do you seriously believe that the numbers actually mean anything? If not, why not share our numbers?
  10. Good point, Claire; I'd been wondering about those. I see no reason not to share our numbers, so I'll be the first to reveal mine; my number is 07. Obviously, as the richest and most important student, I got the best number. Not only is it a lucky number, it's only one zero away from James Bond's agent ID. That's close enough for me!
  11. Those Black Mesa fools are here with us? I have no intention of associating with such garbage while I'm here at this prestigious school on my father's dime. If you're from Black Mesa, please don't talk to me. I'm an impressionable young man, and I want my future to be bright, not to become the kind of person who has to sneak into a better academy just to get a decent education.
  12. I remember PMing Shadows during Red Moon II. Excalibur 2.0 too. It's not so bad, really.
  13. Life gave me some lemons so I made some lemonade

  14. I'm miss sugar pink, liquor liquor lips!

  15. Thanks for hosting, Bob; your games are always enjoyable to read/play. And congrats to my fellow townies and to def and TP! Good job, guys. I'm glad youdidn't let me down. I'd have certainly been disappointed if my martyrdom was for nothing. Like def said, adding third parties who can complete their objectives before the game is over upsets the balance. Once someone's won the game, they have no reason to continue playing, so they'll either A. ask to be modkilled/just stop playing (thus upsetting the balance of players) or B. tip the scales for one faction or another, again ruining the game's balance. Even if they have another win con, it's important to make them play the entire game just as town and scum do (such as def did in BB1 when he made Sandy kill 3 people and survive to end) In addition, it's important to make sure you don't have any neutrals that can cooperate with town; the way the game is played now basically invites any neutrals to townside and thus make the game even more stacked against the scum than it already is with the current playerbase. Anyways, all in all a good job! Very enjoyable game!
  16. Welcome to the life of electra heart!

  18. No, I was being sarcastic. ;P
  19. Oh, you've been reading the abridged version. In any case, DD and Shadows, your game looks like it's going to be great. I look forward to seeing another batch of newbies!
  20. It's in the Eurobricks Mafia Rulebook. I have mine printed out and laminated.
  21. I'm the kind of guy who laughs at a funeral.

      Brickington

      Man, that's sick! :p

  22. Thanks for letting me play, Bob.
  23. Meh, whatever. I'd rather be lynched now than when it actually counts. Good luck, town. And what the hell am I supposed to do to stop people from suspecting me? Should I get on my knees and grovel? Claim an unbelievable role? Fact is, Scuba, you're doing your usually tunnelvision thing, and even if I was revealed to be the town cop or something right now, you still wouldn't unvote me. And you know what, if that's the way you want to play, that's fine, go ahead. Just don't pretend that I could have convinced you I was town at any point during the day.
