    Hi All, Posting my first attempt at a Mech, titled The Jackal. I Started off with a basic frame and then tweaked my design over a few days to add bulk and detail on the armor. added some simple Photoshop effects for fun Feedback would be great or any ideas for weapons?

    My thoughts exactly. The fire poles dictated the style of the set. My MOD probably does appear as though the atomic pile is inside Wayne manor but to put it below etc would have taken so many parts. Maybe another time ha ha. I think the price will go down once the hype goes away. You'll get a lot of sellers wanting rid of all the unwanted parts once the Mingus have been snapped up

    This was my third version. All other attempts were pretty poor because I kept rushing them and tried to fit way too much in. Thanks for the comments everyone

    Latest sets I picked up were the classic to series batcave and the Gotham city chase. That set is way better than I thought.. Great figs and both bikes are very cool builds

    Thanks for the comments everybody. It looks as though sellers on eBay have upped the price since the set came out, that might be due to the demand in that part of set. Some people may only want the Wayne manor section and the minifigs I might have been very lucky with the £25.00, something worth keeping an eye on. I still think the set is great and the overall build is very unique. If you have this set its definitely got a lot of options to modify. I really want to those poles working better

    Hi Guys, Just wanted share my Classic TV Series Batcave MOD. After buying the set I felt it lacked a few finishing touches. These have been well documented in various reviews of the set. The main thing i wanted to to was make the outside feel like a complete Wayne Manor and the inside more 'cave' like I went on ebay and bought the 'Wayne Manor' section that was on sale split from the set. There are lots of these for sale, i picked mine up for about £25.00 and this had the majority of parts needed to cover the middle section. Plus i now have a second Wayne Manor study to use as a mini vignette. anyway let me know what you think, my plan is to change the hinges holding the middle roof section on to dark bluish grey and build up more cave to improve the aesthetics above the atomic pile.

    Nice, i was going to go down that same route but wanted to use as many of the original pieces as possible. now that i have surplus of the sinlge large slopes i might try your version

    Thanks, you can probably get a lot of the elements on eBay from sellers who sell the sets without figs. Yea I do like the idea of just keeping the gigs all batman orientated. I just grabbed what was to hand for he photos. Will switch out a few and add Bane and catwoman in with batgirl too :)

    Thanks Thanks Thanks, yea, difficult to fit everything in. I was determined to keep the rail track Yea I love that part too. On the reverse side I made a brick built wall of trains blue 1x2s but didn't get it in the picture well enough

    Hi all, when the Joker Land set was announced last year i was hoping for a great accompaniment to the dynamic duo set from 2012. unfortunately i thought some elements were a bit weak and I didn't like that all of the parts/sections were separated. I decided to take elements and parts from both sets and combine them on one 32x32 base plate, i also wanted to make it look as chaotic as possible and avoid areas looking too neat and tidy... this was also so that it would fit inside my detolf glass display case. anyway here is the current state of the MOD/MOC, i may make further changes to add more elements but its pretty crammed. let me know what you think or any changes you would make :)
