    Hi Frank, Can you detail your low voltage complainer and maybe put up some pictures? I'd like to do the same thing (I have some small shorty packs and some 2C saddle packs I'd like to use on my train setups. Thanks.

    540 size cans are the standard in the R/C world. 380 sizes are a little bit smaller, you can get them from any RC shop. Different windings and voltages will yield varying amounts of torque/speed. I should get find me a motor and crack one open.

    Good review. I just received the whole set (via some awesome relatives in Hong Kong) so I'll be putting some together soon.

    Allllrighty. I just bought another 10030. I think in conjuntion with that 10030 and my pair of 10221s I have enough to attempt this project.

    Awesome rendition. Crews at least 8, having played the game you get 5 companions, your shipboard droid, yourself, and an astromech. There's talk of a hunter killer droid joining your party but I haven't played since April.

    Who's SSD to build.. Anio's, yours, or mortesv's.. decisions decisions. I've got 2 10221's for this endeavor. My UCS Star Destroyer is not coming apart. Thoughts?

    Well, the Dark Council did approve of adding a second SSD to the fleet, so I commissioned one during the May 5th sale. I hope my droids can salvage any usable parts from the Kuat/Fondor/Loronar/Rendili ship yards for your mod.

    Sorry yes, I did mean the old light grey 10030. Sorry, typo.. playing with versioning systems at work and the numbers are all getting to me.

    Awesome Model, Anio. Is there any issues with fore/aft sagging? Oh, I have one of the older original 10221's, which look to be in a different grey color than the new SSD. Will that color discrepancy be very obvious if I combine the two to make your SSD?

    Apparently Lego has a new intiative called Rebrick, and I can see Rebrickable getting confused with it. Rebrickable is an awesome resource and I'd hate to lose it./ I did some googling and found that Rebrick used to be at octopus.lego.com but that is redirecting to http://rebrick.lego.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f.

    Awesome. Looks like these Supercars will be driving up prices of parts on BL.. Hehe. Which kits will I need to cannibalize to build it?

    I wonder if any of the Lego stores have this yet... might be a bad time to be visiting a US Lego store. $199 to get it from the US, or pay $250+taxes here (Canada)? Tough decision..

    Stopped by the local TRU after work today, bingo! They had a Supercar for $123.57. :D Today's the last day for their 20% Creator and Technic lines.. so I grabbed that and an Excavator.

    Finally showed up on TRU.ca's web site, but it's out of stock. Coincides with a 20% off Technic sale currently at TRU as well.. If I wasn't 5 hrs from the border, I would have done it already! :D

    Growing up this was on my "Wish List," but parental units always said that Technic and Model Team was too advanced for me. So last week I found one used and promptly snatched it up. Great Review!

    Great idea. I've bought some kits from other MOCcers, a couple of tanks for example from Brick Mania costs $250 US each. Though Quality Control was an issue with his stuff, as I didn't receive missing pieces for either model until 9 months after I requested them. He supplied building instructions on CD.

    Hey AllanP, Yup, I've got 2 geared rotators (4520872), 2 grey hollow squares (4539880), 4 yellow #1 small panels (4558879) and 2 yellow #2 small panels (4558876), so it seems that bag was duplicated. Edit: I just got off the phone with TLG, they're sending me a new "Bag #2" which contains all the pieces I'm missing. Just gotta put this off 2 wks until I receive the parts.

    Great Review. Just received mine from the 2x VIP sale, opened it up and I'm missing pieces. Lots of pieces. Don't have any of the 13L dark grey beams, the 4x12 yellow plate, the big grey "H"-shaped piece (4540797 in the manual). Gonna have to sort through it properly tonight to find out what exactly's missing. Think I'm missing a whole bag.. wonder if Lego's gonna want me to return this box for a new one or just send me the replacements...

    Very inspiring, Grohl. Now I gotta build up the courage to either break down all my completed sets, or buy another copy.
