  1. Darlene is she-girly type. Not he. (OOC: Draggy is on a short trip and migth be late for the day... I'm actually thinking we should stall a bit since he's unavailable and Hinck is away from his bricks again). Fascinating and coincidentallifically same place my mind working towards. Let us ponder some more, we need to be the certains. I do knowing something about both of others that make it even more the possible. Hmmm.

  4. Well, that is funny thing. In another life, I once knew man who was bad man. He was suppose to kill his boss, also bad man, then he would taking over. I suspecting Baritones like killing each other a little for the taking overs. This bad man also had to voting for peoples on his team because he not wanting detection. In end, anything would be done to keeping him alive, even the selling out of everyone else. It isn't surprising. Interesting. Did you know that, Steve? True, but Carter has been a bad voter for the obviousness reasons. I do not think we can take risk of letting day end without vote. Someone will kill in night and I am thinking that they will try easier target this time and probably make succeeding if protection can't be made. It is hard knowing who will receiving protection with it is hard knowing who is bad. I think we must take shot in dark, they shirley will. (OOC: I called you all Shirley, whatcha gonna do about it? )
  5. I am thinking construction part of Baritone empire and there 2 of you, make odds greater one bad. I know Steve not try kill me last night. That leave you... Dillon. Does everyone think this make sense?
  6. Good example. Consider it locked, but because of your inability to post in a mature and civil manner without resorting to namecalling. You set the tone in the first post and knew what you would get, so don't act surprised.
  7. Oh, I have to admit, it would have been tricky if you'd been involved too, Florence gets jealous. If we'd had that in Mystery Castle, we would have won by day 6 or 7, since I would have taken over the killings after dealing with Lord Ash.
  8. Great article! I must confess, pre-dark ages, I appreciated the build of a set and the playability. Minifigs, specialty parts and just plain bricks all added to this equally. I feel the deep need to mention the poor baseplate, though. We all appreciate them, yet we can't really get enough, can we? Stores barely stock them and LEGO doesn't include them in many sets anymore, so we're mostly out of luck. I've actually bought the occasional bucket because it had a baseplate in it. Not so much because I needed it, but just out of principle, crazy as that sounds. I appreciate getting one in a set, and I wish they'd get the message. Uh... what was I saying? Oh, right! I came out of my dark ages and found that my love of the minifig had grown. The minifig, to me, represents LEGO. Not the 2x4 red brick, not any of the other old standards. The minifig is it. As a result, I've gone more minifig crazy than ever before. Oh sure, I love a good set, but it's the minifigs that sell me. The other side, for me, is the specialty part. I know people complain about them, but I love an unusual or printed part, and I'll buy them like crazy on Bricklink when I find a good deal. Literally, I might place an entire order of minifigs, minifig parts and specialty/printed parts. Do you see the pattern here? The brick, much as it is the foundation of LEGO, is my least favourite part now, just as the big buckets of bricks mean less. I think LEGO realises that and has adjusted accordingly, and your wonderful article seems to back up that theory. Have I finished writing yet? Geez... Bottom line time. More minifigs. More specialty/printed (NOT stickered). More parts in new colours (not necessarily new colours, just parts in colours they haven't been made in before). BASEPLATES. Great job, TheBrickster! Sorry I couldn't find a topic and stay on it.
  9. whenever someone in Europe complains about how much more expensive LEGO is there, I'm going to remind them that in the US, we don't get used but in damn mint condition deals like that. Ever. I hadn't even seen the icopal or that black torso with the LEGO logo before, and forget ever getting a Maersk blue helmet here. Sure there aren't some white pigtails in there too? Lucky bastard.
  10. I could have sworn there were two of these. *presses nuke button* Looking good, at least from what I can see. A suggestion on that note. Well, three. 1. More light. Lets the camera do it's job better. 2. Don't hold the camera. Find a way to sit it on something very stable and then practice pressing the button without moving it. This is useful even for new cameras. 3. You might have a macro setting (probably). It is your very bestest friend in the whole wide world. Use it. So, if you manage some better pics, update us!
  11. That does sound interesting! Please share more info, I'd love to see what you're doing.
  12. A fair questioning that I will try to answer in a vague but meaningful way. I am much like Peeping Boris, watching the peoples as they do or don't do the things in the night. I have the wrestling training from days in Russia and can protect myself better than peoples expected, so when they are making the attackings, bad things happening to them. Darlene should speak for self, but I will say this... there are only two people I know for fact can be trust in game and we are it. I know this because there is only one of the bastards left, and we can make vouching for each others through special knowledges. That being said, we are sadly in interesting position. Citizens can't really lose unless Baritone get lucky in night, but we almost having to make random killings to finish off that last one. Days could be passingses before I am knowing anything helpfuls except that I am of thinking that Steve is not killer. He only person I was sure it wasn't when attacked last night. So, that could mean we are down to two. You and Sky. Maybe each of you providing reason not to be next in line for the death?
  13. You may want to become more aware of the world around you and what is happening in it as well as the global effect the US economy can have. The world is not what sits outside US borders, it's what sits on the entire planet, the US included. When the US hurts, the world hurts, it's the nature of a global economic model like this. While the US situation is bad enough on it's own, there are similar problems, failures and bailouts occurring throughout Europe, some because of US weakness, some because of the same kinds of poor decisions and risky loans being made there, and all of that is having an effect outside of those regions (the Asian market, for example). This is not a US problem, or a European problem, this is just what frogstudio said, worldwide. How will that effect LEGO? They'll probably do what most companies would in a similar situation, take fewer chances and focus on the core product line. Sometimes, that's just the kind of thing a company should have been doing all along, so I wouldn't view it as particularly negative, just a little boring as the stranger things are set aside in favour of the known winners. Personally, if I was TLG, I'd reevaluate what lines are selling the best and kill off anything weak.
  14. The only fact I am having is that the person I was attacked by was wearing the sunglasses at night and was not Steve. It could have been anybody elses. OH MY! I always wonder what happen to his career. Now he attacking peoples in night. So sad. I'm not following the logics here, I never have doubt Stan-killer was Baritone. Did you? I thought it obvious Iris was knowing of arsonist, and maybe for fear Baritones kill him. Are you suggesting that maybe another not-Baritone but not-citizen is doing bad things, like attacking me? Could it be unrelated serial killer, or someone who not liking borscht? Or Corey Hart?
  15. So here we sit again, glad to be having another day of the living, but not so happy with failure. Compounding that with the little cut I got last night and I am not in a particularly good mood, but I know we are not far from the victory, so that is good point. I am missing Florence, though. What? Oh this little thing? You are wanting to see? *uncovers 8" knife wound, which makes more than one of those nearby look away for fear of losing their breakfast* Yes, little cut. I have had worse. I hope to return favour to one who did it, soon as we are knowing who that is. Tell me, Carter... you should be having good life about now. You say you not under thumbses of Baritones since godfathermotherwhatever killed, so why you looking so worn? What have you been up to, I mean, how have you been passing time? Hmmm? How about rest of you? Night been quiet? No little runnings around in the darknesses? Maybe someone has learninged something they would liking to share? *glances around the room*
  16. You know, I've never looked so good! Seriously, it's nice to see me properly assembled of good quality parts. Oh, and that little boat was nice too. Great job, guys!
  17. I think that's fine. Actually, I was surprised to see just how many of those I have that are broken as well. Who died and left you in charge of this?
  18. I'm not reading all that. You may post 6 pictures of no more than 800x600 resolution in the official entry thread. The first picture will become your thumbnail. You may link to a gallery elsewhere with as many pictures of any size as you wish. Welcome! No. There are some very nice brick built alternatives out there, do some research in the forum and you'll be surprised by what you find. Yes. Yes and no. You can't use anything else as a part, like cotton would be, but you can, for example, use real water if you want to float a ship. I don't really know what you mean by saran wrap water but it clearly sounds like it falls under the same principle as cotton, so no. Yes. You may use a digital background, but you may not change the colour or structure of the LEGO itself. You may, however, draw a logo on a paper sail or flag, since that isn't modifying the LEGO. I'll even go one step further and allow digitally produced minifig torso designs. In other words, if you don't own the torso you want to use and are incredibly good at editing, you can apply it to the minifig in the picture. It's a lot of work and I doubt anyone will do it, but hey, it's now allowed. Yes. Host them somewhere then be sure to put up to 6 in your post, with more as links if you wish.
  19. I was going to make the butter suggestion, poured in the hole...
  20. That's easy, even I can explain it. Women naturally hate other women. Stick a bunch of strangers in a room and watch what happens... groups and subgroups form, and if you manage to overhear them, one group of women will be talking about the others, or, moreso, they'll be getting catty on the one woman who manages to get all the men around her. In this case, that was Iris No-Pants. That doesn't really explain how this effects the players in our game, who were all theoretically male... I'm shutting up now. Someone needs to make a gagged/shutting up emoticon. If you have time, Hinck, get right on that, ok?
  21. That's head turd, to you.
  22. TinyPies: Count me in. Hell, everyone just count me in for your games, they all sound great! When I get sick of them, I'll let you know.
  23. Ha! Pete would not be knowing anyone by name of fang in white, he would be knowing artist named Sky insteads, Miss Tries-to-be-implicating-someones-elses! Why not confessing now, hussy? We might take pity and if truck not run over you or safe fall from sky or monkeys steal weapons and terrorize island (whut? ), you maybe just go to prison for a few month, come back in: The Returningses of the Baritones!
  24. *kicks Pete* Hello there! We needs you to make the voting. *nothing happens* HELLO THERE! WE NEEDS YOU TO ... I do not think he will be voting.
  25. Great, we're glad you joined! Please take a minute to tell us some more about yourself, how you got started in LEGO, what themes interest you, maybe share some of what you've built. We're always glad to learn about a new member. If Cousuturah is, in fact, a lady, or at least female , they should post in Girls, Stand Up! to confirm it and we'll get them set right up. Been there, done that, still have the scars and the stalkers.
