The Baritones Day 2-A Town Terrorized
Shadows replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
*takes a deep breath and shakes his head* It's all too shocking. I was the sleeping and didna know where my dear Florence was and then to finding her like that ... I see it now. She was very upset before the bedtime, worrying about the town safety. She mus have taken my Vladimir "Bam Bam" Ruskosovos commemor, um, commiemor, uh, signed special bat and sneakied out to protect someone she felt needed it. She is ... *wipes a tear* was like that, always the thinking of someone elses, and now the bastards have done the killing. (OOC: Can we all manage to use "bastards" in our posts today? I know I can ). When I was sitting here, feeling losted, I saw her face and she spoke to me. She was looking all the pale and light yellowness and she said she wanted me to find the you-know-whats and make them pay. I want you all to helping me. No. I need you all to helping me. For Florence. For that Lee guy with the Patrick Swayze hair and whoever else that was with the brain splatteries. We must do this for them, and us, if we want to living more. I'm not sure I want to living more, without Florence, but I mus do this. Darlene, you should make with getting the luggages and move in to guest room upstairs. You stay here and helping with the restaurants and we try to figure all this out and make it rights. You, Iris no-pants, I'm sure you can help somehow. I say we all take oath to protected the good peoples of the town. *pulls out a bottle of Scotch and pours one for each of them* To Florence. To Moonlight. To those bastards who did this and the bullets that we can make them get the lead poisoning from if we finding them. *drink the whole glass in one gulp and tosses it into the fireplace* -

You are so looking the pale, but lovely as ever, my dear! I will be finding these peoples, if I have to make looking under ever rock in the town! I will look in the other places too. Have faith and remembering me as I will remembering you! Trexxen is always saying nasty, horrible things about you. Not that I'm naming names... Yes. We must put the past and look to the futures. Oh, and if Majiko did this, he is deadsky. Count on it! -

Baritones Day 2-A Town Terrorizes Did you mean Terrorized? I could fix it, but that would seem a bit unethical, so instead I'll just point and laugh. Well, until I open it. Dammit... but I must admit, at least you know how to keep one of these games moving, unlike ... what's-his-name with the excuse for every delay. Hello Darlene. You look a lot like my Florence. *breaks down crying again* -

*runs downstairs* I dun like dis. I dun like dis at all. Florence never get up in the early hour, she night owl. Florence! Florence? *opens the front door and sees his beloved, dead* Oh no! It cannot be! *falls to the ground, clutching Florence's hand and sobbing uncontrollably* *slowly, the fog in Ivan's head clears and he realises one thing, which he decides to share with the world* *standing in the middle of the street holding Florence's bloody body in his arms, Ivan screams at the top of his lungs* YOU BASTARDS ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS IF IT IS BEING THE LAST THING I EVER DO! *Ivan stands, defiant* -

As I recall, it was the players who had to light a fire under your slow butt a few times. -
With his mind on his mission, Larry darts and jumps, narrowly finding a spot in which to stand without harm. "Hmmm... how do I cross this burning rug?"

I am not understanding this impediment slam you are makingses. I am not the limping. Dialects? Oh, jes! I had been difficulty understanding the other players, but it is getting gooder now. -
Liquid in a can: From Flam-b-gon! Larry thinks that it's odd for an ad to play as his mortality is in such turmoil but finds it a bit soothing and liquid in a can might do what plain h2o can't, put out this gigantic burning cabin. Larry is slowly losing his mind. *cough* As the door *cough*
-
*cough* amidst the blinding *cough* Two sentences at a time? Will do. As our story unfolds, it is obvious that this cabin will form a total loss, but what of little young Larry and his bright days of living? Wood falls all around his flailing body, missing a critical hit, but stopping him from finding a way out of this insanity to join his family outdoors. Edited (try that without any E's): Son of a ... !

You know... I could be convincified to voting for that stupid kid. He's not quite right in the head. Will this night every be startingses?
-
Oh, this is all the most disturbingses, but great for the business, eh Florence? Florence: We had a record day, they ate and drank all day. This is a weird town. People die, and the rest of them can't stop eating. I know. It is not anything I can understanding, and we not getting any closer to the figuring out who killed those peoples. I am thinking we should leave this town when we can. Florence: We could go somewhere tropical and sit on the beach. I can't just go. We must helping the peoples here. We must finding the killers. Then we take two tickets to paradise. Until then, we make our own paradises here, baby! *turns off the lights, leaving the rest of the evening to your imagination*

I thought you were quite subtle. That isn't a good sign. -
Welcome to EB! Sounds like you're the perfect candidate for a visit to the Town and Trains forum, where you can find things like a full review of the classic Pizza to Go and a full "Restoration Project" of the same set, designed to help you piece it together without actually having to find someone selling the complete set. So, dig everything out. Recapture the wonder and excitement of LEGO, then hit the forums and get even more inspiration, but most of all, have fun!

Have you ever noticed that whenever someone says that, there's always a big but involved? In this case, it's Batbrick. Your face is a new joke. Now see? That was funny. Everyone, or at least everyone but you, is laughing. That's what we strive for here on EB News, we like to keep the jokes within the grasp of the audience, and so far, so good. Hinckley is a worn out joke? I'm glad you said that and not me ...

I am the Russian. Florence gets around. Er. I do not knowing if my choice of words is right. I am no Baritone. *spits* Before they plague our wubly town, I never heared of dem. You think they Italian? It might can help if we make going through records for peoples buying the pizzas?
-
I have been the misquoted by some ne'er do well. I am the Russian, not the Italian. Do yous tink I speak like da Mario? Geez! I would also make happier if the staring at my apron would stop now. It is not blood, it is sauce! SAUCE! For the special of the day, spaghetti and borscht! Oh jes, we be happy to servingses all of joo! We have plenty of the good wines to go around, and maybe I can be finding some wodka too. But, you know... I am the worrying. Did anyone else hear the Neal camera-rockety-guy? He seemed shocked that the poor deadskys were the agents of government. Then the reporterlady (in my country, reporter is man!), she shush him like little child. Makes me look funny in her direction. Not funny like when I look at Iris-no-pants, this not good funny. Well, tis not my businesses, my businesses is the foods, so everyone coming to get some! I give everyone discount and first drink on house, no charge. I sure could use some wodka... It not been this bad since KGB raid bakery, claiming they making dough! Florence: That was terrible, Ivan. Oh no. Not that jokingses again.

Thanks everyone! I'm just ... Aw, it looks just like me, and I don't even remember posing for it! LIES! I'm fairly sure there have been at least 2. That's the work of the famous Italian painter, Linguine Scrapatore and his Painting Fork. -
So, what exactly do you teach academies to do?

How About a Bounty Hunter Star wars Subtheme?
Shadows replied to boogiewoogiekid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I always say the same thing in these threads, and I'll do it again here. I like any idea that gets us more unique figures, but I don't see it happening. Aside from Zam, Boba Fett and Greedo, the bounty hunters are relegated to one short scene and some of them don't even move in that. Slave I is the only ship actually seen in the movies (while the Outrider is in the Episode 4 SE, it isn't a bounty hunter ship, belonging to Dash Rendar, who is more a mercenary). We've already had Zam, Boba, IG-88 and Dengar, which only leaves Bossk, Zuckuss and 4-LOM, from the major bounty hunters. Aurra Sing is minor, at best, and the days of anything pod race related are probably over. I would have been thrilled to see Boushh offered in Jabba's Palace, but it didn't happen and that whole subtheme (if you'd call it that) was sort of a wash-out. I don't think the odds of any of the others are much better. Right now, I'm fairly satisfied getting a new Jedi in each wave and maybe hoping for the occasional droid or some cheap Jawas. That's what I really want... cheap Jawas. -
Pastry? Oh jes, I can makingses da pastry for joo! I am not making the senses of the rest of your wordages. Have you been sniffing the perfumeries too much? I am not the askings, and I am not the tellings. We are havings the special today. Do come in for lunch and be sure to get discount.

Oh really? Hmmm... it just so happens that I've been kicking around a Pirate Mafia idea for a while, and even have a name, some gimmicks and such. Perhaps we should conspire discuss it privately sometime. -
