  1. Now that's an interesting point. What if we aren't 12 strangers, but 11 strangers and the real target? Perhaps one of us isn't exactly what we claim to be.
  2. Oh. I must not have been paying attention. Well, great. I thought Killin' George ran the malfunctioning mail service here. I wish we were back at the train, I have the envelope from the invitation and I'd love to see where it was postmarked. Two bullets and we sleep a lot more soundly. So do they. Fine, I know, we can't shoot them. Anyone see some rope, or maybe a locking trunk?
  3. 27 hours ago, we had 12 hours to go. Should we lock this, or was that 12 game hours? I'm having a hard time keeping track. Every action we take teaches us something, every post made reveals a little more about the members of the town, in the end, it all does some good if we pay close attention. Let's hope we got some scum at the same time!
  4. So, we have two seperate instances of murder here, done with different weapons at different times. Clearly, based on the condition of the bodies, this one was a while ago, though without further tests, it's impossible to say when for certain. The killer felt secure enough to leave the bodies practically in the open, and then dispose of the weapon in a careless manner. This obviously all occurred before we arrived in town. It seems reasonable to think that the woman we assume is Jennifer discovered that these people had been murdered and found a way to stop the train, hoping to get our help. It didn't work out that way, and now she is dead as well. The problem is Elizabeth Thornton. She instigated all of this. It doesn't seem like she could have been in contact with anyone in this town, yet she sent us on an obviously misleading mission that put us here. We need to figure out how she is connected to all of this before we can hope to find out who is responsible. Yeah, whatever. Don't have much of a stomach for justice, either, Mr. Run-people-down-and-kill-them.
  5. I think you've overestimating the power of not guessing.
  6. I'm guessing it was a gun-totin' bandit, lookin' to get our gold shipment!
  7. Based on behaviour, one person has made a big deal about not wanting to vote randomly, then did exactly that today. Not to mention accusing the good doctor yesterday, and having him end up dead. At this stage, the most suspicious person here gets my vote. Vote: Stephen / Zepher
  8. Sounds good to me. Perhaps one of us can make some a toast.
  9. While I have no idea why that is, it does seem that I wasn't as early as some others. In a pinch, I can supply proof of my lack of activity last night, however, but I would prefer not to reveal the action of another member whom I believe is loyal. Would you like to speak privately about this matter? Please do and share that information. If we're going to rely on the pictures for clues, I'd like to at least see them correctly analyzed. As for the two of you voting for each other, it's fairly childish and predictable. Maybe you're trying to split our vote, or maybe you're both just hotheads.
  10. Yeah, seriously. Reporting it makes you look like you're a 12yr old who just saw something naughty and has to go tattle about it. Honestly, it's as bad as the whole inappropriate banner ads thread. Grow up, people. If you didn't know the 'naughty' word, you wouldn't be offended by it, so it isn't like you haven't seen it before.
  11. I remember him, he kicked serious megablocks and helped clean up that town. Maybe you should try being more like him.
  12. Well, Henry certainly brings up some valid points concerning Robert, but they could just as easily make him a vigilante and useful to us. Well, they could if he was one, but he isn't, you spent last night at home, didn't you Robert? On the other hand, Stephen has brought Rose, Artie and Sal to our attention as late arrivals. Henry, despite his ramblings and apparent use of witchcraft, is correct in noting that such behaviour sometimes indicates that evil is afoot, or the person just has a night action. Funny, every time Henry suggests something, it's always "that's bad! er... or maybe it's not!" Still, it's worth considering. Then again, Stephen specifically targeted the good doctor yesterday, and then he ended up dead, gunned down visciously. I thought it was odd to single him out when he wasn't even the first one to place a vote. Then he ends up dead. Those are my thoughts right now. I'd like to hear what each of them has to say before making a final decision.
  13. All reviews mentioned in this thread have been added accordingly. If you have a review (read please... REVIEW) that isn't indexed, please post it in this thread. Thanks!
  14. Funny. If I had a wife, and she had been brutally murdered, I'd probably carry her lifeless body to the middle of the street and scream in a thick Russian accent that I would avenge her death. Then I'd do it. Guess we're very different kinds of people. Well, this isn't getting us anywhere and the day is progressing quickly. It'll be dinner time soon, and as much as I'd love a nice hot open faced roast beef over delicious toast, with mashed potatoes and brown gravy, I'd also like to see us get something done here. What do you say, people, are we going to have a go at voting, or just take our chances with the night? Neither has gone well so far. --- Fun Toaster Fact of the Day: The first-ever fully automatic pop-up toaster is the Toastmaster one-A-one, invented in 1926. It was not cheap. In today's dollars this would have gone for $150 and was a prized wedding gift.
  15. The kind that hides it's secrets in shallow graves in damp basements. Just remember, we at CSI: Willoughby never sleep, we will find the killer, or killers. *glares at everyone* First thing we need to do is call in the team. Anyone have a camera for some crime scene photographs? No? Ok, how about a pencil and a sketchpad. Someone start drawing the scene, I'm going to stand here with my hands on my hips and look disgusted by the depth of depravity that caused this.
  16. *puts on his sunglasses* I love the smell of decomp in the morning, it smells like ... mystery! *takes off his sunglasses, looks around the room, first at the faces of the other players, then at the evidence* Everyone stay back, we don't need to compromise the scene. Clearly, these two have been here for quite a while, so it seems reasonable to surmise that Jennifer came hoping to rescue them, but ended up needing a rescuer of her own, a rescuer who came too late...
  17. Since I've been running at full speed all night in the direction of the stench, I wouldn't mind knowing what I've discovered.
  18. I don't know, there was that Harry Potter battery powered broom that seemed immense popular for a while. Or is that an urban legend?
  19. *lets go of Brakes then sniffs* Mmmmm, that smells like home! *runs towards the smell, barreling through the darkness with wanton disregard for his own safety*
  20. To speak plainly, and almost out of character but not completely, night actions don't work that way. Joey wouldn't have had any control over his movements, you can't just say, "go out the back room when the killer arrives", so I think we're barking up the wrong tree there. We know he didn't shoot the gun and I don't think his leaving was suspicious, it just indicates a logical way to take the pictures. In real life terms, we can take it as the killer was watching the diner and saw the perfect opportunity for the kill, it would have happened eventually and that's just when it did. So that leads us back to the big question... did anyone learn anything useful last night? We've got to be missing something.
  21. So, did anyone learn anything useful, or do we just keep guessing? I don't like guessing. I've heard stories. Did you buy them in the market? Did they also have hats? I hear the shop owner was a little odd, but they had a fine religious leader who saved them from their accursed fate before the madman in the sky could lead them to destruction.
  22. Oh yeah, let me use that for a second. *grabs a paper wrapped candle from the box marked DY???ITE and sticks it's wick in the flame, then watches it burn for a few seconds* Well, that isn't putting out any light. *tosses it out the window*
  23. I suspect Evony targets a primarily male audience who might appreciate the displayed assets of their featured banner character.
  24. ... whom you were awfully quick to accuse yesterday. Mind telling us what you were up to last night?
