  1. Ok, so we've collected a bunch of planks and made our way back to the bridge. I've carefully placed them across the opening in such a way as to allow for safe passage to the next section. In order to avoid overloading the bridge, some of the current occupants come back the way they got on and wait to cross after the second portion is repaired. After a minute catching up with Brakes I fix the second section of the bridge and cross safely to the other side. Everyone else may follow if they wish.
  2. WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE SAME? We win one, we lose one. Can't we ever just kill a scum and not lose? Robert, you may not have always known who to trust, but you tried hard and you were a good man, thank you for all that you did, especially picking off a scum as your last action. You will be sorely missed. Donna, rot in hell with the rest of your kind. So, here we go again, but at least we're a little closer to cleaning up this town. Anyone learn anything last night?
  3. This has veered a little off course, but it's understandable given the situation with the Cars license. If possible, let's try to keep this at least partially centered around the eminent LEGO line as opposed to an 'us vs them' fest. If that can be done while still comparing the two, I'm fine with it continuing, but if it simply turns into a fight over which company is better, I'll shut it down. That kind of discussion has already been had dozens of times, and you could dig up one of those if you really wanted, it just isn't suitable for the Licensed Themes forum. Thanks!
  4. Those are very cute , I didn't realise that the handset exists in so many colours. Could also make an even more old-fashioned phone from these: I'm suddenly inspired to make phones. And a toaster.
  5. Did you bring enough to share with the whole class?
  6. Have you lost your mind, Father? The serial killer isn't aligned with either side, so they kill without caring who they get. That makes everyone at risk and getting rid of her saves all of us from suffering as a result of her actions. Even the loyal vigilante has accidentally killed a loyal townie, but you don't think that a crazed lunatic with a hatchet could do the same? If Rose had cared about this town, she could have helped us, instead she wasted yet another day making false accusations before finally admitting the truth. You don't make any sense at all.
  7. Wouldn't it be ironic if Bulldog landed on a Johnson rod?
  8. Aw, how touching, you're heartbroken to see a serial killer go, even though she secretly accused you of being the serial killer before finally confessing. Then again, you hated to see Jerry go, as well. It's almost like a pattern, anyone who could hurt the loyal townies is your friend.
  9. I've owned this set since it came out and I have always loved it. I didn't have a lot of forestman sets, but you didn't need a lot of them, you could build an entire world around this one set. I really need to restore this one and relive the glory! Thanks for reminding me and for presenting this wonderful review.
  10. The three of us are with you! Three of you? Yeah. Me, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Wesson. *pats gun*
  11. Simple. Center the plot around toast.
  12. Because a tree is heavy, and round, and unstable. We don't need to add a ton of extra weight, nor do we need anyone rolling off the bridge. Further, we still have to go to the mill for a saw, and then stand around cutting down a tree. That seems more efficient? It'll only take a small number of planks, and honestly, I could have walked back for them myself in the time that has been wasted making cute conversation about it. Then we'd all be safely on the other side.
  13. Honestly, at this stage, I don't even know what game you are playing. You've either confessed or you haven't, but changing votes after the consensus has been reached isn't traditionally allowed in this game ... of life. Whatever the case, I do appreciate your confessing, but I wish you had simply contacted me as I stated previously, I might have been able to give you some redemption. Now, it really is too late for such things and yet, from what I understand, you are still working behind the scenes to sabotage the town, so I have little faith in your sincerity.
  14. Yeah, it's only Eleanor. There are a lot of little online standards that might not be obvious initially. We're actually planning to write some general guidelines by which games are to be run as well as some helpful hints for both hosts and players. That should improve the situation for future games.
  15. So be it. Excellent. *pulls out his gun* Yes, scary farmer dude, I do want some wood, and you and the rest who aren't currently trapped on the bridge are going to go get it while I cover you with my gun. Now let's get to it, time is wasting and if I shoot you in the head, it'll only slow things down. Are we clear? We can collect plenty of already cut planks at the mill. If each of you carries 5 or 6, we'll have plenty to get the job done.
  16. Scroll back a few posts and see where Brakes and I are working to collect planks to patch the bridge? *takes Brakes by the hand and starts skipping back towards the mill where we collect wood and then return to the bridge to lay it across the gaps for safe passage, one plank at a time*
  17. The day they were giving out sanity, you got in the wrong line. Do you honestly think I have every power possible in this game of life? You've accused me of being the boss, even though we killed him because of my investigation, I've been accused of being a killer even though I have the wrong kind of gun and was somewhere else at the time, now you think I'm some kind of blocker, again, despite my never having been anywhere near anything that ever happened. Seriously, isn't FBI Agent quite enough?
  18. Well, that's not good. I'm willing to go back to the mill and grab some wood so we can try to fill in those missing planks and get across this thing, but I do think that some of you should back off to reduce the stress on the bridge. Brakes! Could you come help me with my wood!
  19. Everyone just be careful tonight, we can't afford many more mistakes, though at least 5 is better than 3. About the only thing we learned today is that the scum can't count. I agree.
  20. Funny, that's what you usually have to remind us about you while you're playing.
  21. Well I'll be damned. I think you may be on to something there.
  22. An interesting analysis, the only problem is that there are people I trust and people I don't trust on each list. I really feel like the one thing we've been lacking is clear evidence. We get conflicting things, but we seriously lack the 'smoking gun' that makes it easy to vote properly. The only thing solid I've ever trusted was the info on the boss because I collected it myself, and we scored a big victory there, but after that it's all been confusing things that could go a number of ways. We've killed a lot of the wrong people, but mostly because they act guilty by accusing without proper evidence or overstating things, frequently due to a lack of knowledge of the way this game ... of life ... is played. It's very frustrating.

As a result, two of our most active forums have grown to need additional staff presence to keep them operating at the level that the community has grown to expect. Therefore, I am pleased to announce the addition of a pair of new regulators to help in that capacity. First, helping to man the decks of our favourite pirate forum, we have Erdbeereis, our new . Please take a moment to stop by his congratulations thread and post a little comment. Next, joining the ranks in the exciting Star Wars forum, we have Stash2Sixx, our new . Why don't you drop in on his congratulations thread and send him some good wishes as well? Congratulations to Erdbeereis and Stash2Sixx for earning and accepting this awesome responsibility and helping to keep the EuroBricks community happy and thriving. Welcome to the staff, guys!
