Before we go any further, I feel responsible for the things I say and the suspicion it causes, so I'm going to explain it. I wish others would be so considerate. I'm tired of being chased around day after day because of bad information. It all started here, but this isn't the original post as I remember it, but even this one is telling. I remember you specifically saying something about the hatchet killer being blocked. I've asked someone else and they remember it that way as well. Even going by this, it says two things. 1. You didn't care that Lorraine was killed, which indicates you aren't aligned to either side, much as a mercenary or serial killer would be. 2. You bring up the vigilante, by which you mean the hatchet killer when no one else does. Why? Because you know they exist. If anyone needs proof of that now, look at what the scum said about needing 3 more kills and then calculate how many scum there should be left. The only way that works is if there are 6, which is impossible, no way would a game of life like this have that many scum, even with conversions. No, one of the remaining players isn't loyal to either side, thus throwing off the balance and depriving the loyal townies of a little bit more safety. Further, since I made it clear that it would take a vote to kill me, and I'm the only person who seems to even be worried about the serial killer, it makes sense for that person to jump on the opportunity to kill me before they are revealed. Everything points at it being you, including the egotistical attention to the killer. Up to this point, no one can even prove they exist except me, because of the FBI report, but you seem to have no doubt. I don't know how else to interpret that information. You "know" this, but you're only revealing it now? What changed? Why do you believe the Sal is scum? I've certainly found him a little suspicious at times, but never had any proof.

Except the godfather died, as confirmed by the voice in the sky, when the town finally made the right decision and killed Jerry Buscemi. Oh, I see why you're confused, you voted against that. I can't really blame you, you don't care what happens to the town, you're not part of it, serial killers never are. Oh my, a secret revealed. Still a little annoyed that you were blocked from killing last night? I know that must drive you crazy. Oh, wait, you're already crazy, going around killing people with a hatchet. Trust me people, Rose is our serial killer, and you're heading towards a big mistake today. And not believe the idiot ramblings of a paranoid investigator who never even had the guts to stand up and accuse me directly, but instead hid behind the Father's skirt? What fun would that be? You people can waste your time, but personally, I'd rather see us kill an actual threat. Vote: Rose / Ricecracker / Hatchet Killer

Honestly, I have no idea. I've never been informed of the existence of either. It's sort of like you and your revolver, you didn't choose that weapon, nor did you specify that you would only have one bullet, it's just the colourful story part of the presentation. Can't argue that one. Early confusion has left me in a dangerous position throughout this situation. Joey is one person I have instinctively wanted to trust, so I'm a little concerned about both Sal and Zita and their motives. I have no reason to believe that either one can investigate anything, so it seems suspicious that they would target someone specifically like that. Yeah, that point confused me as well. Initially, I believed that to be the case, but it was unclear. It just seemed to fit, since I wasn't informed of any other agents in town. Sometimes you have to extrapolate some of your own backstory to try to understand the position you're in. As it turns out, I eventually learned that I had someone helping to protect me. I don't believe it is one of the members of this game ... of life, because I've never been contacted or notified of that, but at the same time, I can't be absolutely sure. I will say this, if someone is protecting me, thank you, you're serving to help this town, and right now we need all the help we can get. As for testing me, it was a bit of a dangerous test, as it could have resulted in you being hurt, but fortunately it didn't, probably because I believe you're loyal. I doubt scum or the unknown hatchetman would have survived that encounter. Oddly, it makes me trust you even more, and I hope it settles some of your questions about me. At the same time, I'm glad it was me and not Joey, as I still really think he's loyal and we can't afford another loss.

What the hell? Choice of weapon seems to indicate that the loyal night killer just tried to take me out, which is both wasteful and foolish. We lost an opportunity to kill scum, and if you had succeeded, we'd be another body closer to losing. Doesn't anyone listen when I subtly say I'm hard to kill? Fine, I'll spell it out. Agents aren't sent out alone. The 3rd man everyone was so suspicious of previously is someone who isn't playing this game ... of life ... but serves as my protection from killers. You might as well give it up, I'm only going down by vote, and honestly, I think you're all too smart to make that mistake. Then on top of it all, the scum score another victory. Are any of you even trying to win this game ... of life?

Since Brick Flicks and Comics were brought up, I can tell you that I have a variety of theme and activity related tags in the works. Tags for both of those have been done since the planning stages of the subforum, but the program for rewarding them hasn't been determined yet. Tags generally are rewarded for achievement, participation, fans of a theme, and occasionally for general annoyance and aggravation, so stay tuned, you never know what might appear. That said, like titles, don't ask for it, don't beg for it, don't post repeatedly thinking it'll get you noticed. It will get you noticed, but you won't like the results. On the other hand, bribery has been proven to be effective for a great many things, why not try here?

Noir Mafia Confirmation/General Discussion Thread
Shadows replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
And some just don't know how it's played because they haven't done it before. It's always painfully obvious, they tend to rant and get themselves killed for it, then whine about it later. The best way to avoid that is to read a lot, learn, then practice. For helpful reading, I'd visit these sites: mafiascum.net & MafiaWiki. I'm especially fond of the roles index, where you learn that there are an incredible number of variations in the parts that characters can play in this game. Once you open your mind to the possibilities, you stop making the kinds of mistakes that get you killed, or damage your side. -
Damn. Just damn.

First of all, I didn't suggest Michelle, I only agreed that her actions indicate guilt or stupidity. We don't need either. Seriously, learn how this game ... of life ... is played, you look as foolish as she does when you harp on the fact that we've voted incorrectly in the past. It's just the sad reality that some of what we do relies on instinct and analyzing what is said and done. When people act suspiciously, what are we supposed to think? As for last night, I attempted to investigate Donald, but was followed by a mysterious person in black, whom I believe to be the hatchetman. His arrival at the restaurant seems to confirm that belief. It was a rough night. Call this OOC if you wish, but don't play games with bold to get around the word filter. You still have no clue and want to accuse the loyal townies because they aren't perfect enough to get every kill right.

What's with the staff's usernames?

Or you're imagining this. -
Why would you just believe someone you don't know the loyalty of? And why would the boss of the scum tell you that someone else is scum? To get me killed because I had exposed him, assuming you weren't just planning it together. We call this a paranoid investigator, they tend to be loyal, but think everyone is bad because they're crazy. In the past, they tended to work as Inquisitors. One famous example was named Fernando, he investigated people and thought they were all witches. Now he lives on as a burned steak recipe. If you want to ramble about clues, maybe you missed that one due to inexperience. Further, the 'runner of this game ... of life' didn't say that, the character did, potentially indicating that they were delusional, otherwise I think the voice in the sky would have called their death an important loss, which didn't happen. Further, he was too cowardly to speak for himself and tried to use the good Father to mislead us. Paranoids do that, they try to get others to say what they think, it helps reassure them that they aren't as crazy as they know they are. Seeking out a religious man is just more confirmation. Then you're an idiot. If someone is blackmailed in this game ... of life ... they are no longer loyal, so you're just trying to play both sides knowing you messed up in your blatant support of the scum yesterday. And you just made one more enemy of a loyal townie by accusing him of being scum. And the hits just keep on coming. You have now accused the loyal night vigilante of being a serial killer. Is there anyone else you'd like to offend with your stupidity? Thus ends my patience. You're either scum or a fool. I sincerely hope you're scum, this town doesn't need to kill another loyal, just because they have no sense. Vote: Millacol / Michelle

This is a tragedy. We win one, we lose two, we've got to get ahead of these scum before it's too late! I'd like to hear what Michelle has to say for herself before condemning her, though. We must be getting into a bad position in terms of Townie to Scum ratio, so I'm not quite ready to make a decision without a little discussion first. I'm not at all surprised to see the hatchetman coming after one of us, we probably represent a position of authority and potential danger to him, so it's only natural. What he doesn't understand is that we can help him, offer him the chance to redeem himself, if he'll just contact us. Please hear me, hatchetman, I know you don't really want to do this, you just want to win, but you can't win this way, no matter what the voices tell you, it's a trick. Contact me before it's too late.

It's nice. Not something I'd want, but nice. Yeah, more than just a bit high. Typically, popular banners reach the $50-65 selling price, usually limited to buyers in the country of origin since shipping is prohibitive. By popular, I mean licensed themes like Indy or Harry Potter. The biggest problem is that it only appeals to a very small collector base, where the licensed ones also attract general fans and people expect to pay a premium for things like that. If I had to honestly estimate this one, you'll probably be lucky to get $40ish from someone within a reasonable shipping distance, especially given the ugly dragon. Good luck!

I only did the one to Svelty, the CopMike effort was the full staff as started by Ras and I don't know what these punks are up to now. But don't worry, I'm sure I'll do something interesting soon. -
Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion

No way. The headless horse is a much bigger achievement, though this one is good. Speaking of headless... *chops off Austin's head for complaining about people doing things like that* -
Yeah, that's a great one that I'm still missing as well.

I've got pitchforks and torches! I think you're definitely onto something here! Sadly, it's my foot. Step back, Peewee. Yes Herman, that must be it. It also explains your green pallor, Mr. Munster. -
A problem we do not have with the Nute Gunray hat, which fits perfectly and looks great! I only wish it came in other colours. I wish everything came in other colours though, it's just the way I am, it makes me incredibly happy.

Blackmail: Bank robbery: Try again, scum. I initially investigated Quinn, who I found wasn't the mob boss. Sadly, that's all I can ever determine.

I would appreciate if it the Father would be honest enough to admit that the so-called investigator was unable to say that I am or am not scum. I know they would have said I was loyal if they had the ability to determine that, so therefore they didn't say either, did they? I've said this about 5 times, so this will be the last. The letter was sent to you by someone you blackmailed into turning. The revolver is my federally issued weapon. The money is from a bank heist you scum did, based on the serial numbers of the bills. You can keep trying to lie your way out, but eventually people will see through it. It's called collecting evidence. It's what we do to catch scum. If we were like you, I could have just put a bullet in your head last night and been done with the problem, but we believe in the law. You are scum, and for some reason, people who I know are loyal are letting you live out the day. Maybe you're blackmailing a lot more people than I have discovered. Been meeting a lot of people at the Aventine lately?

You can scream it, but it simply isn't true. The investigator never said I was scum, I don't think the investigator is capable of determining alignment or they would have known that I am loyal, but as it is, they didn't say one way or the other. Read the original post again, all they said is that they found those specific items, the items I took from your house, the evidence. Since I know who that investigator is, and how cowardly his methods have been today, I can say with absolute certainty that if his investigation had specifically said I was scum, he'd have said so (through the Father, since he's too weak to step forward on his own). Check your facts, you failed.
