Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I'm pretty sure all we've heard is Delayed/Cancelled so it could just be delayed to fix a technical issue. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
Agent Kallus replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I mean the fighter tank had a jedi general, a commander 2 troopers and 2 droids so I'm expecting at least that considering the price, maybe given the price we'll see the return of B2s, hopefully with reinforced legs. I mean from a technical standpoint battle droids are made of simple unprinted parts so they shouldn't really eat in to the minifigure budget at all. Honestly I know I'm a weirdo for it, but I don't really like the cloth camas anyway. -

An L for existing themes perhaps but Rivendell, hopefully Zelda and a DC resurgence might make it one of the best years for Lego yet imo, and I'm still waiting to see how the Sonic sets turn out or if we get minifig system Mario sets. Let's not forget about the big new era of Ninjago we are yet to see it and whatever Dreamzzz turns out like. February is far too early to write off a year, and honestly IMO it's a W so far. Just because they're doing another OT one doesn't mean we'll never see another PT one, I don't think anyone expected the PT ones to replace the OT ones or be more numerous. -

The giant goblet? Does look like it could be real but I'm still not sure it is. I'm not a league of legends ( I liked Arcane though) guy but is a goblet really something that represents the game well? -

Isn't it the dragon of East's palace, so the dragon of the east is a person ( pink beard guy iirc) and this is his palace so the set will be a palace not a dragon. -

I'm sure we won't be so lucky but if it's at the same rate of fig per dollar as the bugle (at it's current price of 349.99 usd) then we'd get 32 minifigs so I'll list 32 that I expect to get at least 20 of. 1-Batman, 2- Bruce Wayne, 3- Alfred Pennyworth, 4- Nightwing, 5- Batgirl, 6-Spoiler, 7- Robin, 8- Red Robin, 9- Red Hood, 10- Black Bat/Orphan, 11 - Signal, 12 - Catwoman, 13-Batwoman, 14 - Lucius Fox, 15- Two Face, 16- The Joker, 17- Harley Quinn, 18- Ra's Al Ghul, 19- Poison Ivy, 20- The Riddler, 21- Mister Freeze, 22- Clayface, 23- Ventriloquist and scarface, 24- Mad hatter, 25- Firefly, 26- 30 civilian ouffits for batfsm members, 31-32 random obscure extra non batfam heroes If we are to get random batsuits, I'd like to see the Beyond suit, the thanagarian armour suit and a black lantern batman -

We don't need 25 sure but this costs more than the Bugle so I'd like to see more than 25. Hopefully the relatively low part count means moulded trex, plenty of new figs and maybe some printed animals ( Ace, Batcow, maybe even green animals to be Beast Boy?). I want at least 25 bats, I mean they aren't printed or otherwise complicated parts so just chuck a ton in. -

I really hope that the fig count isn't taken out by a load of alternative batsuits. -

Oh my god, I love the sound of this! Mold Dinosaur? Hope the figs are a ctossbetween the Bugle and Rivendell, with plenty of new designs but also recent reuses. They might chuck in some obscure non-batfam heroes too like Daredevil, Punisher, Firestar (though she is an amazing friend I guess) and Blade in the Bulge. They don't need to justify the villain inclusions, I mean why would all (most of anyway) the spider rogues storm the Bulge? -

Thinking about what this could be f not an Arkam, batcave or Wayne Manor (with batcave). It could be Wayne tower, that would be able to fit in better with the modulars and batman often has a secondary hideout there. It could be the DC equivalent to the daily bugle Here's a list of all the bugle figure with DC equivalents that could be in a Wayne Manor set (I'll edit this into a spoiler to save space when I'm on pc but I'm on my phone right now) Fire Star - Vixen, Blade, Doctor Octopus - Mister Freeze, Spider-Man - Batman, J. Jonah Jameson - Lex Luthor, Betty Brant - Vicky Vake, Venom - Clayface, Miles Morales - Nightwing, Spider-Ham - BatMite, Green Goblin - The Joker, Gwen Stacy -Spoiler, Carnage -Manbat, Punisher - Slade, Peter Parker - Bruce Wayne, Spider-Gwen - Oracle , Black Cat - Catwoman, Robbie Robertson - Alfred Pennyworth , Ben Urich - Lucius Fox, Mysterio - Mad hatter, Daredevil - Orphan, Sandman - Ventriloquist and scarface, Aunt May - Harvey Dent, a newspaper worker - Office worker 1, a New York taxi driver - office worker 2, and a receptionist - a receptionist. But it's a bigger set so let's also include Damien Wayne, Red Robin, The Question, Two Face, The riddler, Harley, Guy Gardener, commissioner Gordon and Amanda Waller Or maybe a Gotham city street done like diagon alley, it could have the iceberg longue, the botanical gardens, a gcpd station, a court of owls meeting place, a court and ace chemicals. -

There always seems to be a B1 in the advent calendars anyway. 212 is coming in the magazine so the Advent calendar wouldn't make it anymore accessible (for those of us in magazine countries anyway, it should very easy to get 212th), Omega would be a nice inclusion, I personally do already have one but it'd be good for her to be more accessible. I must admit that I've never actually gotten a SW advent calendar. They always seemed much worse that the castle and pirate ones back in the day, less figs, higher price, mostly minibuilds etc. -

Yes they do. He had mentioned in the book's amazon.com blurb, evidently an error. -
Whilst DK is a Mario tangential character he has his own spinoff series too, which is much much less popular than Mario.

I wouldn't ditch the theme unless I no longer liked the source material ( I haven't bought any HP sets in a while for certain reasons for example), I judge each set individually so I could potentially go years with getting a set if there were none I wanted, but I wouldn't have considered myself to have ditched the theme, merely to have prioritised sets from other themes whilst this one is lackluster. And honestly that CMF doesn't sound too bad. -

I thought it was Foggy but looking back through his posts I might've been confused sorry. I still suspect it's what'll happen anyway. -
I'm all for keeping an open mind, but you wouldn't get that sort of information from a Lego shop employee and this doesn't match up with anything we already know, or make sense, and no-one else is corroborating this. So it's a from me bob

The Ant-Man buildable figure is 289 ( let's round to 300) parts, but the marvels was said to be 400ish parts, so at around the same level of scale and detail as Ant-Man we'd get 1&1/3 buildable figures. -
