Lego One Piece rumors and discussion

Time to both sell your sofa and riot then. It is an intimidating number of episodes (and from someone who's favourite show is over 60 years old and ongoing ( well with several breaks)) but I won't be skipping any, I don't really understand why people skip episodes, I mean on rewatch it makes sense, but on first watch I mean. I think the lack of printed eyes is perfectly fine on a part like this where the eye part is done is a translucent plastic, the problem is when they recolour it into an opaque colour like with the pyro whipper head.- 752 replies

I reckon if superman does well we might get it's characters in a future DCU CMF. -
The F-Wing Multipurpose Strikecraft is equipped for a large variety of different missions and can serve as both starfighter and a transport. Only a small number of these fighters exist and are often known as PIR8 strike craft rather than Incom's official F-wing name. When designers at Incom were tasked with creating a new multipurpose strikecraft for the new republic they had to maintain the highest levels of secrecy. Not only was each competent assembled in it's own factory but each section of the ship was assembled separately before being brought together. However when the sections were brought together, a glaring issue was noticed! There 2 right wing factories and no left wing factory, so no left wings had been produced! The brave minds at Incom were fortunately able to work around this and assemble the first batch of ship parts into what is now known as The PIR8 Multipurpose strike craft. It received this name as the new republic decided to wait for the correctly assembled batches leaving this first batch to be sold off discretely to some less discerning customers who were also less than savoury characters. The F-wing received the PIR8 name due to falling into the hands of these criminal enterprises. Note: I had not seen that @Sentinel_Brix had also made a (rather splendid) F-wing for this contest until after I'd already rendered this! So my apologies for any confusion caused by a second F-wing entry.

Lego One Piece rumors and discussion

I was just saying this in the historical forum but I think Zeff's hair and moustache oats might be in the new Ochre Yellow colour. Read Den Den Mushi as Dungeons Meshi at first. Now there's another Anime Lego should cover. I was actually inspired by news that we were getting sets to watch the LA and those den den mushi snail phones are creepy megablockers. I found the anime on BBC iPlayer and started it the day before the sets revealed . ( This won't be the first time that I've gotten into something because Lego made a theme of it !!!) -

I still wonder if they'll officially acknowledge the august wave's clone bias? Summer of Clones could mean we get the Winter of the Jedi or the Imperial Autumn, Spring of the Sith. Or go the American season naming route and we can have the fall of the empire. -

The problem with focusing too heavily of hero vehicles is that it makes the waves more monotonous. The villains are generally where we get variety from! Now don't get me wrong, Dragons rising has incredible builds and the writing of the show is the best it's ever been but I feel like the 11 minute era did manage to make sets where they felt more specific to the waves they were from, with more unique approaches to core Ninjago tropes. I mean master of the mountain, seabound and prime empire all had a unique stylistic take on things like dragons, and vehicles ( with master of mountain leaning in the Fantasy side and having a non-dragon steed instead if another vehicle!). Now as I say I do still like the current sets and the execution of them is flawless but I would like to see some more unique and specific stuff (and yes more villain sets would be good!)- 752 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion

I feel like the only reason they gave Luffy those arms in one of the sets was that he was in multiple sets. They don't want the only version of him to be long arms. I believe they had a lot of cases of people cutting the rubber arms to add standard arms when they did Kamala like that. And so maybe they don't want to encourage that by making another character just in the rubber arms style? But they again if they'd given reed the same torso as the others that wouldn't have been so much of a problem! And then they could've given the 'unique' torso for Johnny and have it be red. Part of me wonders if the flame off design is partly because they don't want to do a trans torso, that's the excuse they said when asked about star wars ghosts, even though in both cases neither characters are that translucent so a solid colour without any transparency would be fine! -

The Swashbuckler/ Musketeer hat has a slot for a feather, it could make for a decent upgrade. I'm guessing they'd have used that part themselves if they had it so it must be out of print, a shame. -

As @AD_Bricks has pointed out this is a bizarre criticism as it's not like the clone legions are just palette swaps of the same pattern design. Bly's boys do have more colour on their arms than Rex's Roadies or Cody's Crew, though not as much as Wolffe's warriors or Doom's Dudes. So there is no reason to except the Lego clone trooper arms to be consistent with each other when the source material clone arms aren't. -

I don't mind the unisex torso, if they were gonna do another torso print if have gone for a red or orange one for Johnny so he could be in Human Torch mode. I mean I'd have that over giving reed his different neck! -

Clever to include a yellow helmeted Clone pilot in the V19 that way if you get the yellow clone Battlepacks you can use him as their commander if you didn't get the more expensive MTT -

Okay, that's makes more sense. I mean not every woman has to be feminine but I agree that she wasn't a great pick, especially with her incredibly visually similar male variant being a recent book figure. -

Yeah, the pricing is definitely the worst thing about this wave overall. Though we've not got the UK prices yet so I can maintain a smidgen of optimism that they'll be comparatively decent. I mean the US prices hasn't been static even before release so the higher prices might be more there than elsewhere in general (though the conversation rates generally had it cheaper over there anyway, but I think that might've been because they hide the tax from their prices and add it on at the very end in the USA). Dual moulding is a double edged sword for leg because now that dual moulded kegs exist, I can see so many figs here that would benefit from having them. Kenobi, Ventress and all those Kama wearing clones! ( Though like I've said before for the clones especially they'd need to start using thicker coats of white paint again! ). -

What? It's Because the character in movie is a woman. And the figure is of that character. If you're complaining about the gender of one specific random background Spider-Man in the movie itself then I don't know what to say to that, I mean there were tonnes of them. Yeah, if they'd had to delay this series too late in the game there might not've been anything ready to replace it and we're already down one series this year thanks to the multicoloured but otherwise identical racecars. -

I think most of these look pretty great! The unfolding droid rack on the MTT is a clever idea but it also takes up a lot of space and so could be replaced with a simpler design to hold more droids. The Turbo Tank does look kinda wrong. Too small for the price definitely! I got the 2010 one as my first bricklink purchase back in 2013 and this doesn't compare. I know the it's very clone heavy but overall this looks like a great wave!
