  1. There are a few cases but it is quite rare. The Queer Eye set had a rack of extra torsos and a few sets have characters with the option for both normal and specialised legs. Would be cool though. I mean that's not so bad, I don't personally own the 4+ set and if we're only getting a limited number of new prints it can see the sense in reusing him. No but the jumpsuits are just 'relatively' normal clothes so they don't really need it in the same way that something like Selina's cat suit does.
  2. Lego star wars has always been an expensive theme but I've never seen a bigger disconnect been the set pictures and the prices. It's simply absurd. £140 for the MTT and the Turbo Tank, both those sets would be overpriced at £100!
  3. Just realised I've not put my entries here
  4. Before you see the pictures I'd like to warn you I was having trouble rendering them, so unfortunately it's LDD Screenshots, less than ideal and so I'll try and fix that soon. The QIE Series are the empire's answer the rebellions successful deployment of modified freighters like the Ghost, The Millennium Falcon and the Outrider. Designed to be bulkier and more multipurpose than the more traditional TIE line, the QIE line uses five ions engines to allow them impressive speed and manoeuvrability despite their size. The fourth of the QIE series flips that thinking on its head and instead adds QIE series framework and power to a standard tie cockpit, creating a single man fighter with absurd amount of armour and firepower. Sienar engineer's boast that the QIE Dominator can level an entire city and that it can carry enough munitions and ammunition do easily take out any enemy defence emplacements before they have time to respond. a sensor array dish connected to and advanced droid brain allows the ship to have more heavy turbolasers than a single pilot would be able to aim independently. With heavy armour and shielding the the QIE dominator small singular solar radiation collection panel is not enough to supply power for the ship, but with its advance shielding and hyperdrive they should be able to get back to base to refuel and recharge in one piece. You might've noticed that this is QIE 4, well I had originally planned on making all 5 QIE fighters for this contest however that was biting off a bit too much really especially as I was away from y bricks and computer for the majority of May.
  5. Before you see the pictures I'd like to warn you I was having trouble rendering them, so unforutanlyu it's LDD Screenshots, less than ideal and so I'll try and fix that soon. The first of the QIE series is the QIE Subjugator, It can lead squads of tie fighters in space combat with the comparatively large bridge where crewmen can coordinate the fighters and plan tactical responses to any scenario. A large experimental tractor beam allow the subjugator to control the battlefield as it is purpose built to slam enemy ships into one another. The ship can be used for ground deployments with its front facing troop bay deploying troopers right into the action, whilst officers can instead disembark using a separate exit ramp at the rear away from the action. The interior of ship consists of three main areas: the Bridge and a multiuse area both on the upper deck and a troop/cargo bay on the lower deck. In this particular ship the multiuse area is being used by Sienar to plan future QIE series ships, they appear to be looking into sonic weaponry. Hopefully I can get some proper renders done soon, I don't really like using LDD screenshots here, but I was running out of time so I made the choice!
  6. Solitus looks quite brilliant. His robes actually give me Path of the Open Hand vibes. Which is a good thing. Yeah I approve of the down sizing when it's a single person starfighter. But a troop transporting land vehicle is quite different as it should fit troops and they'd stand next to it on the battlefield.
  7. Lego Minecraft goat has posted the part counts. I mean they're just numbers so they don't really tell us much but it seems like the Old town set will be very big at 4851 parts.
  8. That'd be a bit of a double edged sword though wouldn't it. Imagine the complaints we'd be making here if they had introduced both those new characters and they were both 80% jumpsuit.
  9. I think a separate female jumpsuit would be a wasted print, there not supposed to be form fitted as you say it's a loose fit. But I'll agree that that Croc should've have something different. The real crime is not letting him go topless. Yeah they must be too afraid of how hideous he's gonna be under there, they pay him to keep the mask on.
  10. Sounds pretty good actually. Glad Ivy isn't jumpsuited up! Hoping we get the green skin! Probably not gonna happen but I hope killer cric has a unique jumpsuit, like shirtless with the arms tied around his waist or something. He's the only character in this set that I don't have any version of so it'd be nice if he's not just a headprint on a generic torso and legs.
  11. That is exactly what we were like when the me h was leaked
  12. Almost definitely minifigs. I'm not a fan of hulk style big figs so I'd prefer it this way anyway. ( The seperate head was an improvement but there is still a long way to go).
  13. I wasn't that interested after Wakanda forever. But Iron heart has been quite good so far, I hope they'll make her suit from the show.
  14. @mantax Looks like Lego Minecraft goat has debunked those rumours. I get what you're saying but yeah we both agree that it looks pretty terrible on the opaque. On the topic of this head, it has some aquatic vibes to me with the fins and spines.
  15. Agreed. ANH is pretty well covered ( though more cantina aliens would be cool).
  16. I'm hoping that the prisoner jumpsuits are androgynous and show no skin, so that the torso can be used to make more inmates. Hopefully they'll include one in the batman magazine at some point. I wonder which robin it will be, probably Damian. I don't think so. I do agree that a majority will potentially be in prisoner garb but I doubt it will be all of them. There costumes are what is iconic so I think some will be in Thier actual outfits, I know the TLBM one had everyone in the jumpsuits but it was released along side a wave of sets where they weren't in prison uniform. Catwoman definitely shouldn't be, the times I can remember her being at Arkham (like in the video games) she wasn't an inmate. Overall this sounds better than expected (at least it didn't turn into an oversized Batmobile like the bogus Batcave rumour) but still retreading old ground. I'm excited to see pictures. It would be funny if they reused her Andor penguin from the returns set but put them with more comicy versions of everyone else.
  17. I'm personally hoping for a TotK (or BotW) stable as the unknown next set.
  18. Yes and no. While it would be great for TLG to make them, it would a shame for TLG to trap them in a GWP. Especially Signal, because while I like both of them (and actually prefer Cass) he is much harder to make with existing parts.
  19. *Looks at the set list for the year* No you misunderstand me. It was 'OT and TCW stuff (and prequel stuff to a lesser extent)' because outside of TCW stuff or clone stuff in general Prequel sets aren't as common.
  20. It does set a good precedent that they are willing to go back to 'relatively' older media. Now-a-days Lego star wars only seems to cover what's recent and new (with the exception of OT, and TCW stuff and prequel stuff to a lesser extent) so a willingness to look back a previous seasons is good. I hope they do some more Rogue one sets soon!
  21. I remember making a batwing out of the electro suit book exclusive batman back in the day! . A nice surprise to see new characters coming out!
  22. Oh... Now I look silly, but it is very similar.
  23. Not to be pedantic twice in one page, but ,actually, that face print isn't new. It was used in the AotC Starfighter, it does capture that expression well though.
  24. Forgot about the V-19 Torrent for a sec and I thought this was going to be Alec Guinness Obi-Wan as our first Death star image leak.
  25. I hope you like pedantry because, actually, there were clones in Andor, in a flashback in season one.
