  1. This looks awesome and very accurate to the scene! Great entry for the CB.
  2. Pretty cool, so far! I like that you came up with your own scale. That B-Wing is looking pretty awesome, although the biggest wing seems a bit thick. Otherwise, can't wait to see this finished!
  3. VERY nicely done! I agree with SSJ2 Dark stating you should shoot this in lower light. It would definately resemble the scene more closely. LOve those "shelves" on the side walls, too.
  4. Geez! That's ALL you built this year? You're slackin, man! Just kidding! Ever since I started following your builds years ago on Brickshelf, you've been and continue to be a great inspiration to me as a builder! Can't wait to see what's next!
  5. Really awesome moc! You totally got the look of the Sarlacc in brick-built form! I love that your "comic" captures the adventurous, light-hearted feel of the movie with a bit of added humor. Great work all around.
  6. HAHAHA! This is really funny and well-thought-out. The LED lighting really makes this moc come to life! Also, love the little Stormtrooper snowman in the corner.
  7. Well, for not being happy with this, it sure looks very well-designed and put together to me!
  8. HAHA! LOVE this! Seems like the Skywalkers got the worst gifts. Merry Christmas!
  9. Beautiful work on the Falcon (and TIE), Doc! WAY better than the official midi and I didn't think that was possible. I absolutely love the details/greebling on the mandibles, among other details. This is one you'll definately have to build "for real"!
  10. HAHA! Great choice for a scene. Love that tree, but I agree that it'd be nice to see a clearer shot of the "gang" in the net.
  11. Nice work here, man! I like the unique building techniques you used for parts of the catapult.
  12. Great work here, Doc! The shaping is perfect as are all the details/greebling! I seriously just drooled on my keyboard.
  13. Cool so far! The lighting looks perfect for Jabba's palace or sail barge.
  14. HAHAAA! If only I had all the parts for that!
  15. Thanks, Doc! Once I thought of using that piece for the "mouth", the rest of the head design came together. Thanks! Unfortunately, once I build something and photograph it, I tear it apart (no room and not enough pieces), so my Moodland Samurai Vader is long gone. If I had to guesstimate, though, a Moodland fig comes up to about the Mech's waist. HA! Thanks, man! That's actually not a bad idea...
  16. Thank you, and thanks for blogging me!
  17. I think you're right, Doc: you're miniland figs are...um...not your best, BUT these midi-scale vehicles are awesome! I love the shape and parts usage of the hull and cockpits. I think the upper cannons may be too long and are the wrong color. Also, the mid-section seems a bit too hollow. Other than that, this is great!
  18. I've been itching to get out of the Moodland, micro stuff and back into mech building, but I wanted to build something a little different from my norm and a LOT bad@ss! Here's a back view showing the adjustable cape/wing foils! This guy is based on my Moodland-scale Samurai Vader, if anyone remembers that. Is that Lord Vader at the controls? No, it's sig-M<0><0>DSWIM-figgy! You think I'd let Vader have all the fun?!
  19. He has one modified tile on his back. The rest is just low center-of-gravity.
  20. Beautiful work, man! The design of that thing is spot-on and the poem is great and gave me a laugh! Very nice for a first post.
  21. I always hated that cartoon, but your model looks spot-on! Love how you recreated the smooth, sleek design of the original.
  22. You're right, Doc: this IS the best build so far! The overall shape and parts usage are nearly perfect! I especially love the round sections that the wings attach to.
  23. Very nicely done! I love seeing SW vehicles in seldom-seen scales. Aside from it being the wrong color and a brick or so too thick/tall, this is quite beautiful!
  24. WOW! Very nice work! If this was a real set, I would totally buy it. Love the accuracy in shape and the sails.
  25. Now THAT is awesome, Doc! LOve the wings, engines, and cannons in particular. I'm not too sure about the technique for the cockpit, though I can't think of a better solution other than a printed canopy. This is one model (besides your midi Slave 1) that I'd love to see you revisit so you could fine-tune it.
