  1. Very nicely done! The lighting is great and I do like the addition of grills on the floor. I agree with kaitan: a black background would more resemble this night scene.
  2. VERY nice! I love the nose, guns, and wings. Too bad you couldn't use some sort of trans-black parts for the cockpit. I think the top portion of the dark red/brown part needs to be a bit rounder. The rest is stunning, though!
  3. You could send all of those to me since I don't own any of them!
  4. Well, I don't own any SW Lego sets that are unopened, because I buy them to BUILD! I would think the main reason to keep a set sealed would be to resell it. You can get a pretty penny for sealed sets. And, by the look of it, you could get a few pretty pennies yourself!
  5. This is a great idea and awesome build! I love how the wings fold like the "real" thing.
  6. Thanks! I'm glad you think so!
  7. Thanks! I have used that foot technique before here: My link I'm sure the ears are a bit small, but I was trying to build a Yoda that was properly proportioned.
  8. HAHAAA! Thanks for noticing the reference to my earlier build! I figure if I don't enjoy what I'm building, then people won't enjoy looking at my stuff.
  9. EPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCC!!!!!!!!!
  10. These look great! Like Rocketbilly said, they're instantly recognizable. I'd love to see more pics, though.
  11. Thanks! You like this guy even better than my Grievous fig?
  12. Thanks! The funny thing is, this took me like 4 hours to build.
  13. Ahhhh, not Moodland?! Haha, that's okay, Doc. This is still pretty awesome looking! I love how exact the color scheme is and the parts usage for the headdress thingy.
  14. Thanks! There's a modified tile on his back that allows him to spin. You can check out the full gallery at the link I offered. Thanks, man! I'm glad you like it.
  15. This is my entry for Yuri Fassio's Spinning Top Contest over on Mocpages. I've been wanting to build a proper Moodland scale Yoda for a while, and this contest was my chance. I know I've stretched the definition of "spinning top" with this build, but he truly does spin! As always, you can check out the full gallery on my Mocpages account:My link
  16. Great idea and awesome build, Doc! That Radiant VII is spot-on. I think this will be a very popular series that many (including myself) will follow with great anticipation. Now, about those minifigs in Moodland scale: that'd be something to see!
  17. These all look great! I love the photoshopping going on.
  18. Thanks! Y'know, one of the biggest challenges, besides design and detail issues, was getting the scale right. Depending on what model/photo you look at, the rancor appears to be several different sizes. Now that I've looked at the build for a bit, I don't know if he actually COULD be considered minifig scale instead of micro. Thanks! If you stand this guy up next to one of my Moodland figs, he's pretty much the same size (and uses the same parts, mostly).
  19. Very nice work (as usual)! I don't think I've ever seen this scene recreated in Lego before, so mad props for a first. I always wondered, why did 9D9's mouth need to move for him to talk? I mean, he's a droid!
  20. Or you could even just type in "Star Wars cartoon images" into your web browser. If you're looking for specific things like a cartoon Wampa, then type that in and see what you get. I would think many images from the original Clone Wars cartoon would be useful, as well.
  21. Well, he's designed basically like a Moodland fig, so he's super-poseable, HOWEVER, because of the positioning of the legs, only the arms are truly moveable without him falling over.
  22. Very good work here! I agree with the comments that say there may be too many colors. Also, I think Yoda's hut was only open on one side, not both. One thing I would try to do is make a window by where Yoda's bed is, so the scene between Luke and him is better lit.
  23. Thanks! Yes, the tail does keep him from falling over.
