  1. The sheer awesomeness and beauty of this build has caused me to lose all motor functions!
  2. Awesome work, man! I absolutely LOVE the shaping and parts usage of the front.
  3. Really unique design! I absolutely LOVE those legs!
  4. These are awesome and nicely designed! I especially like Lightrider; kinda reminds me of an EVA unit.
  5. Thanks, man! Thanks! Oky's right: Brickshelf is outta wack, so the only way to see this is on Mocpages or Flickr. I know the head and other parts are simpler than the "real" thing, but keep in mind the size. The guns are from the opening scene of T2 with the Terminators walking through a field of bones in the future. here's the model I used as reference: My link
  6. Thanks, Chris! I don't find Star Wars to be any less fun, I just needed a change of pace for a bit. Thought I'd get some other themes out of my system before the next Community build. Thanks! Yeah, I'll have to try some different techniques for the hands if I make a V2.
  7. So, I took a break from my Star Wars builds to focus on some other themes. I've always wanted to build an action figure-scale Terminator! Not every detail is here or entirely accurate, but, keep in mind the scale and the fact that it's Lego. "Hasta la vista, baby!" If you can't see the images here, or if you'd like to see the entire gallery, you can check it out on Mocpages: My link
  8. Now THAT is just too adorable! Love the overall design, especially the parts usage for the fingers and, of course, the light-up eyes! This definately has a "real set" look to it.
  9. Beautiful work, as always, Christopher! I especially love the Assault Frigate and am wondering where you got the piece used for the cockpit area?
  10. Cute and simple, but nicely built! I can just hear it now going: "Gonk! Gonk!"
  11. Thanks, Fallen! I figured you and Doc would most appreciate my attention to detail here. Whenever I recreate a model or fig in Lego, I use several visual references to ensure that I'm able to include the most details. Since my Moodland stuff is really "action-figure scale", I use alot of images of Hasbro sets and Sideshow Collectibles models, both of which I used here. Oh, and, yeah I did include the power cell on the bottom!
  12. WOW! I literally drooled on my keyboard looking at all these builds AT THIS SCALE! A lot of people who don't build this size don't realize just how much more time, work, and pieces go into building things like this. Thanks so much for sharing these pics!
  13. Thanks! I think that the tooth piece totally gives the scout trooper "goggles" the right look. Without that, I don't know how else I could recreate it.
  14. This is great and a great idea! It's nice to get to "know" the head honcho himself! Great stuff! Can't wait to see who you interview next...
  15. Beautiful work, as always! I agree with some of the others that my favorite has got to be the Gladiator.
  16. Not to worry. I'm still working on a Snowtrooper design.
  17. Thanks, man! With every build that I do, I always try to imagine them as "real" sets. I think it would be great if Lego picked up this idea! Thanks! I knew something was bit off with the handle grips. Thanks for the suggestion!
  18. Thanks! It makes me feel good to know that my builds have helped inspire other builders like you. As far as advice, I'll PM you in a sec...
  19. Well, first off, congrats on an impressive first year! I know, since I've joined, that this is one of my favorite sites to visit. As far as more things to blog, how about a Moccer Spotlight where you interview an impressive builder and discuss building techniques, advice for other builders, etc? I can think of a couple awesome builders on here (Brickdoctor, A.C. Pin) who I'd love to learn more about. Just a thought...
  20. For some reason, I've been on a speederbike kick lately. Thought I'd revisit my Moodland scale Speederbike design and rebuild and redeco it! I was originally going to have a Snowtrooper ride this, but making that cowl in bricks proved to be almost impossible. Luckily, I came across images of a Hasbro battlepack that featured 2 Snow Scouts and bikes. I used those for reference. As with all my builds, I truly tried to make this as accurate as possible. I'm pretty happy with the sleek design. Here's an image of my original Moodland scale Biker Scout and Speedbike:
  21. HAHAHAAA! Dude, this is awesome! I'm glad I could inspire you. I love the foot design and the SNOT work in the chest area, in particular. It just so happens that my first Chibi SW fig was Boba Fett, too: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/182787
  22. VERY cool! I love that icey mountain thing. Is this finished or are you adding more details (and pics)?
  23. Hey, everybody! I know I'm joining the conversation late, but I've been thinking of building my own Falcon from scratch as well. I think the easiest and cheapest way to get the instruction manual would be off the internet rather than paying Lego $56. I'm sure there are sites like Peeron which have the entire manual uploaded and available for free.
  24. Thanks, man! I do plan on building Sideous at some point, though Maul is already torn apart...
