  1. Very cool little build and very original idea! I think this may be the first attempt at this idea in this scale that I've seen.
  2. This is my 3rd entry for the Mocathalon over on Mocpages in the category "Alternate Star Wars". I'm sure I've mentioned on here how much I hate Jar Jar Binks and Episode I in general, but, because of the expanded story of the Prequals, it becomes apparent that the fate of the galaxy depends on Jar Jar. If he had never voted to give Palpatine emergency powers, he would never have had an entire military force to defeat the Jedi and begin his empire. So, if Qui-Gon had lost his patience and ended Binks in the first place, he may have saved the galaxy. To those of you who are fans of Jar Jar Binks, I meant no offense. This was done in fun.
  3. HAHAHA! I know I commented on this over on Mocpages, but this is seriously one of the funniest SW builds I've seen in a long time! Love it!
  4. Awesome and odd design on this! I absolutely love the use of Exo-Force fingers, especially along the back end of the pods.
  5. Beautiful! You really nailed the look of the entry-way.
  6. Very nice upgrade to your orignal build! The corridor looks great, and a round tile would look better in Leia's hand.
  7. Beautifully built! I love the design/shape of the hangar walls and doorway.
  8. Looks pretty cool, dude! I like the SNOT idea for the chest plate detail. I'd love to see a better lit shot of the face though.
  9. Very cool to learn more about one of my favorite "photo guys". Plus, we have some of the same favorite directors/movies.
  10. Great work, here! I love the forced perspective idea and look.
  11. Excellent work! Like others have said, the brick-built quality adds alot more character to the creature than the molded version. My only suggestion would be to try and make the legs, feet, tail poseable by using hinge plates/bricks.
  12. WOW, Oky! Impressively done and sure to win. Love the details of the pods and the "windshield wipers" on the cockpit window.
  13. Dude, this is hilarious and very nicely built! it!
  14. Thanks! Getting the pedals to look right was actually a bit of a challenge.
  15. Thanks! Part of the head design I got from Flickr member Krika99.
  16. Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
  17. Very cool and original idea and build! All the figs and the Mynock have just the right amount of detail to be recognizable.
  18. Thanks, Doc! That was literally the hardest part to get to look right.
  19. Thanks, Ceroknight! I actually do plan on a few more droid-related builds, so stay tuned.
  20. Thanks! Here's how I built the heads: I used a tan 1x4 round slope for the head. I attached a 1x1 clip like I used for the hands to the back of the head with 2 tooth plates. I uses a 1x1 plate with "c" clip attached to the bottom. I used a 4L bar for the neck, then used the friction of the "c" clip to keep the head attached and to allow it to turn. Hope that makes sense. I'll have more detailed pics on Mocpages some time today. Thanks! The STAP and Droid aren't as heavy as they look so the stand holds them up, but this did fall over once or twice.
  21. Thanks, Oky! This was alot of fun to build.
  22. Here's my first entry: Moodland Scale Battle Droids and STAP!
  23. This is my first entry for the newest community build, Battle Droids and STAP in Moodland scale! TPM is literally my least favorite SW movie, but there are a few things I find cool about it, namely the droids. Mad props to Krika99 on Flickr for sharing an image of his BD design, which inspired improvements in my own. Also, Thanks to Brickdoctor for the minifig arms-as-those-tube-thingies-in-the-torso idea. While i don't think I got every detail exact, I think this is good enough for now till i can revisit my designs later. As always, I want to hear what you all think!
  24. HAHA! This is great! I can't really say much else that hasn't been said. VERY cool infiltrator!
