  1. That is very unfortunate. To me (and I suppose, for many of us here), Technic is the essence of Lego.
  2. I would like to see Lego's implementation of dual-clutch transmission. I would like to motorize and RC that. Very interesting.
  3. I am very much looking forward to this set, but if all the parts are printed, I probably wouldn't buy it. I understand the desire for printed parts very clearly, but it's for people who want to display the model. I, for one, will build the model and take it apart, build something else and later, build it again.
  4. Got the 42042 for 59 Eur. Bought 3 of them and kept one unopened.
  5. The Arocs did it for me. Although I've always been eyeing the Mindstorms since the first version even though I never bought it. Since the Arocs I've bought 42030, 42009, 42039, 42038, 42047 for its pull-back motor and three pieces of 42042. I got the cranes for an extremely good price, and I'm keeping one sealed for later. I'm sure it's not going to get very valuable, but it will never go as low as what I got it for. Maybe someone will appreciate the mint box in a few years.
  6. I consider this a very, very good set. This will probably be the first one I get from the 2H sets, unless there's an exceptional deal somewhere on the Claas.
  7. Ever since i saw the BWE, I just want to recreate everything with a turntable, by using the new Quarter Circle Turntable. Although that would be out of my league. How many parts needed for a mobile crane? 50 000?
  8. You do build big stuff. When it's finished, let's make it walk!
  9. Ok, so this will be the Ultimate BWE MOC until TLG releases it.
  10. Hi, Do you think these retail prices include VAT, and if so, is it Germany VAT? Thanks, Mikko
  11. Maybe I am :). I'm still too excited about the latest sets I've bought to really get into MOCing, but I already started to build a Zamboni.
  12. I'm a life-long Lego fan and a long-time reader of the forum. I just now decided to join in to the conversation. I started when my daddy bought me the early Space and Technic sets back in the 80's. The 8860 is my all-time favourite, obviously because of nostalgic reasons. I found it again in the attic and built it last holiday season. I had a good twenty years when I practically didn't touch Lego. Well, I kinda always wanted the Mindstorms since they first became available. But I just never got to buying them. Even when I was a kid, I usually built the kit, took it apart and built something else. That's what I do now. I don't usually keep the models for display, I just build them with kids and friends, and then I take them apart to make something else. So that's me, hello!
