  1. That is awesome! Those wings... I relly like how well the Slave I cockpit is integrated into the ship. Looks great!
  2. Adding to what Blakbird said, changing the colors is quite easy. Just use the instructions and swap out the same parts of a different color. If you want to add Power Functions, a better set to start with is 42037.
  3. For those who are not true purists, I believe http://brickforge.com is still selling centaur bodies with weapons and armor, if you want an aesthetically better centaur.
  4. That is cool. I have the Dragon X-pod from when I was like 9, and could instantly tell what the ship was from.
  5. I usually try to find the Star Wars sets on a discount or sale, cause they seem to be a bit pricey with the Washington sales tax. And cause I usually build the set once, then use the parts, I'll look up the parts list and decide if it is worth the price for what it contains. Just my two cents.
  6. That is, without a doubt, the best Technic motorcycle I have ever seen! The functions are incredible! I didn't even think that this was possible... can't wait for the instructions!
  7. I rally like the round gate! And the muskets for tree limbs is great! Nice job!
  8. Those are nice and cheap, I might have to pick one up to build those... Thanks!
  9. That is great! It is small, but it totally looks like the Chestburster. And the frame is perfect.
  10. Finally, a use for those Super-Jumpers! Nice flying car.
  11. I agree with TheMindGarage. Destroy the Porshce next. Great truck. Can it crawl well? It appears quite capable, as the Ferrari proved. Also, can we have an underbelly shot?
  12. I chose the Resistance X-Wing, cause it looks better to me, and has parts that I would use. The orange/black color scheme of 75102 seems too garish, better suited for a podracer. And I rarely ever use black parts, except for the stand, or as an accent color.
  13. What does that new part come in? I was planning RE those, until I saw that pic...
  14. That is one awesome castle! I can only dream of doing that... Love the landscape the most. Well done!
  15. That is neat! I like how the tracks are not flat on the ground.
  16. That is pretty impressive! But I like to test the limits of pure Lego, although I accept 3rd party lights, cause Lego's lights are not that great IMO.
  17. Small Cat. #8 Large Cat. #6 May the Force be with you all! Thanks to MKJoshA for setting this up!
  18. Thanks Josh! The problem I have is (a), my room is too dark for good photography, (b) I don't have a pale wall, except in my bedroom, and © my camera is not very good. On the right wing, I was starting to run low on parts, so it didn't come out how I wanted it to, but I did my best.
  19. That is one awesome tree! I love how the axes give it textured bark!
  20. I suppose I'll follow the group. here's my entry, large category: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=133744
  21. Background: Uglies are commonly found ships in the Star Wars universe. Each ship is made from previously used parts that are cobbled together with welds, sealant, bolts, and the will of the Force. These ships have no registry, and they are easily acquired on the black market, for a price. They are most commonly used by criminals, otherwise they are used by those with no other choice, those who have a death wish, and those with more than one life. Featured Character: Sadly, this astromech has no official designation, but he appears in 7 LEGO sets listed as "astromech droid" on the packaging. Upon some research, it becomes known that he is the later variant of R5-D4 from the 10144 Sandcrawler. Backstory: The Rebellion has won! The Empire's "New and Improved!" Death Star has been blown to smithereens. Vader, and the Emperor himself are dead. And away from the celebrations on Endor, the first scavengers jump into the system, and they descend upon the copious amount of wreckage strewn across space by the violent battles and explosions. Bits and pieces of starcraft are collected, and welded together into the ships called Uglies... About the Ship: The starfighter, a gang enforcer's rustbucket, is the damaged remains of a Y-wing and a TIE Bomber. The ship consists of the cockpit, body, and wing pylons of the Y-wing, combined with the heavily damaged TIE Bomber wings, and some scrounged TIE engines. Top view 1 Top view 2 Side view 1 Side view 2 This is my first true MOC post, so please give me C&C about it. Thanks, and good luck.
  22. Nice idea, but it seems to have too many other characters in it. Maybe add a part of the Lars Homestead to emphasize Ben's protection of young Luke. But I do like the vaporators, and how you combined SNOT and studs-up techniques for the dunes.
  23. The shaping is simply fantastic! Great ship!
  24. Nice! I like how there is a whole storyline behind the scene. Maybe it's just me, but the landscape almost seems to need a bit more. Maybe a few bigger rocks, to add some height. Enough nitpicking, well done! I really like that sleek speeder!
  25. Epic ship! The design is great, with the well-executed color scheme on top. I also like the fact that it has both a stand for flight configuration and landing gear as well. Great job!
