  1. Bricklinked 2x Naboo Security officers and 2x Naboo security guards. Under rated mini figs.
  2. Aldar Beedo from the pod racing bucket.
  3. Same time as the Rogue One wave hits the shelves, which I CANT wait anymore for it to be released. "Grumble grumble"
  4. Of very recent years I have to go with the latest MTT.
  5. Time to pin a 2017 set news and rumors "Yoda's Hut" edition?
  6. I don't mind the concept of stickers, however, for a product sold as toys for kids, they really are pushing it sometimes. Some stickers are extremly hard to put on and require very steady hands, and you can't peel it off to redo it again without loosing some major adhesion afterwards. Second, if they can't print every pieces ( unlike Megablock collector sets ), why don't they increase the sticker quality? Make them thicker, use better adhesive, do something Lego...
  7. List of exotic creatures or characters that could be included: Dagobah's flying bat, the thing that swalloed R2, Darth Luke. X-Wings are pretty much out of the list, winter waves are smaller sets. Ghost Obi Wan would get me to buy this instantly, but I hope the hut is nice too :)
  8. Most of the Starwars backlash isn't Lego fault though, look at what they had to work with, a movie set 30 years after ROTJ and barely any new vehicles to work with, the few new vehicles barely had screen time, were scrapped in editing ( snowspeeder ) or completly innacurate ( Kylo's Shuttle). I would have been pissed being a Lego designer having to cope with these factors.
  9. TFA came up with some surpriningly bland designs ( vehicle wise ), kind of harsh for toy makers to innovate as they were almost all based on existing stuff or barely had any screen time ( Lolsnowspeeder) And with it came some pretty steep prices. Rogue One has more new designs going for it than a movie set 30 years after ROTJ, which is ironically very funny, and I'm more confident for it to get better sets.
  10. Quick question here, does Lego usually goes full double VIP points on Force Friday or polypag promotion? With RO coming, I was just wondering if I was better off camping the Lego online shop at midnight or just waiting for it later? Thanks!
  11. I meant the rebel troopers aboard the Tantive IV, I always thought they were some kind of Alderaan honor guard or something.
  12. Space went missing because it wasn't selling as good as Starwars, and in the bankrupcy situation Lego was I can't blame them for doing so. Yes, it ran for more 30 years and people loves it, but the situation called for it. We are in an entirely different situation now where a theme has been replaced by something else and was seemingly uncalled for. But yes, it's been 3 years so time will tell.
  13. Beyond the mandatory RO battlepacks I wonder what lego will surprise us with this winter: a naboo themed pack with royal officers would be great, droids battlepacks are long over due, maybe hope for some alderaan troopers?
  14. I've finally given in on some Episode I sets ( I know, I know ). Got one Flash speeder and a Naboo starfighter from 2015. I would have bought the droid troop transport but it's temporary out of stock. Nice promo too with the classic knight with 50$ purchase too!
  15. Mine is on the way! I feel both very happy and sad about this promo... One day Castle will return, one day...
  16. Takodana Cantina, Starkiller base and the Finalizer are all I think think of that hasn't been made, although i can see Lego make an updated version of Kylo Ren's shuttle in the future. Speaking of episode III, they still have not used the phase 2 clone trooper included in the micro turbo tank...
  17. Any hope remains regarding future official LOTR sets? Came back of the dark ages too late to pick up on LOTR and wondered about the pulse in the comunnity: seems they did release a couple nice sets but too many holes are present to start collecing them on the third market without further official support...
  18. Castle is such a pillar for Lego and the community that even for it to go missing for a couple years feels wrong. It's almost as if City or Starwars sets were discontinued for a while, and I can really understand the frustration in the historic community.
  19. Well, the fall season is going to be dedicated to Rogue One, which we already know the content of, however, from lego's past wave we can expect an episode 3 centric winter wave ( episode 1, 2 and 4 were massivly covered in 2013-14-15 ) and hopefully RO battlepacks. I don't know what's left of 7 that wasnt made in lego except for a Star Killer and cantina set.
  20. Yeah, I'd imagine a set with Chewie, Han and Finn on Starkiller base mugging Phasma down a trash compactor. It would close the cirle of "Captain Toys" alright in an approriate yet ironic way.
  21. Rex's AT-TE is also based on Rebels, not the most stellar starwars related material. But it's not just Starwars going up lately, City is getting over the top expensive too, while Nexo Knights ( which I loathe ) had kept a pretty good value. If Rebels based sets are that expensive I can't fanthom what RO's first wave will cost like. ( I'm looking at you Black Imperial Shuttle ). Let's hope it's not ridiculous.
  22. I hope that canadians reading this are holding tight to their chairs: the rebel frigate is a whopping 150 CAN. Just saw the price on the online store. This is a disgrace and no big pieces can justify that pricing. ( Getting nervous on those RO CAN prices, especially that Imperial shuttle, which by the same frigate logic, will cost 150$. )
  23. Some more sets based on ghostbusters 1-2, Death Wish ( a wild fantasy of charles bronson in lego form ), gothic era castle theme, pagan rome theme, Nexo pir..... I mean N something pirates and some jurrasic park stuff would be fantastic.
  24. As a fan of Castle and LOTR, and very big fan of Star wars, yeah, I feel dissapointed. I thought I would give a shot at Nexo knights but this really doesn't appeal to me. And we aint getting any castle or lotr sets in the near future that's for sure. Good news is that the RO wave still has yet to come, and Lego found a way to get AFOLs to buy dimensions mini figs by introducing old movies characters, which is nice.
  25. They sure don't sound like constraction figures.... Are you sure they are released this year?
