  1. He's either gonna be betrayed by Tarkin seeing him as a threat and sent in the outer rim doing dirty work or shamed because he lost.
  2. It's a shame she's selling over 40 $US alone then, those resellers are going to put themselves out of buisness.
  3. Rebels star fighter squadron used colors as their tags, and applied it to their vehicles. At least in Legends but I don't believe there is a dark green a-wing in ROTJ.
  4. They really are going all-in with the generic rebel pilot face print aren't they? It's infurating they can't be bothered slighlty altering a named character's face in a UCS set of all thing. Thanks for the link but I don't think it's allowed.
  5. The Tracker 1 continues the trend of needlessly expensive TIE-ish sets, except this one has some massive tanking potential like the Arrowhead; putting out two of the biggest summer sets out of Freemakers of all things is ballsy to put it mildly, although I'm sure resellers are gonna jack up those prices on these exclusive figs Thrawn style. At least some people will be happy. The best value objectivly it seems are both the Tank and Vader's transformation, although subjectivly I'm not too fond of a set commemorating the: NOOOOOOO!!!! scene. Both battle packs are extremly good values too even with the price increase, although it seemed inevitable. The 3$ difference between a 4 figs set with crappy-ish build was a no brainer compared to decent mini-build with only one fig ( especially those that included a single battle droid, poor kids ). The rest of the sets (constraction excluded ) seem decent, although their source material is extremly poor.
  6. I can't say I miss her, she was as much a Mary-Sue as Rey was to a point where I thought she a was freacking android. I also equally despise Ezra but calling him a Wesley Crusher is rough; as much as I love Next Generations when he's involved in an episode I want to skip it.
  7. Well of course everything is relative, I've put Elves and Minecraft for a younger audience because the builds are quite simplistic but a lot of people play Minecraft so the audience may spread more. As for Technic I speak for myself, as a child I saw no interest at all in the theme, everything was not proportionnal, it looked skeletal and the lack of mini figs sealed the deal :)
  8. I think the number fluctuates a bit but I also has that conception. Themes in general are a lot more niche than they used to be in my opinion; Elves, Duplo, Friends, Junior, Minecraft, Angry Birds and City target a generally very young audience while Technic and Architecture are clearly aimed at AFOLs. I think there's a slight lack of themes that people of evey age loves like Ultra Agents, Adventurers and Castle. Lego's latest attempt at this was Nexo Knight
  9. Has ayone seen this? http://www.hothbricks.com/lego-nexo-knights-concept-inedit-original-quil-a-lair/ Who knew Lego would rip off a 1988 Hasbro license A bunch of knights with powers coming out of their shield and chest, medieval and space, a virtual wizard mentor. I don't blame Lego but I had a good laugh reading through it.
  10. Oh I really like the Y-wing too, it's soo much better than the TIE bomber, and supported by X-wings it can do marvels. Hopefully the Defender is gonna be back on some occasions :D
  11. People are dissapointed we get 4 named bounty hunters in a battle pack? Sure they could have swapped Dengar with Zuckuss, but that's several $$$ I'm saving from bricklink or buying a 40$ set from a source material I couldn't care less about. Both Bossk and IG-88 alone are worth more than twice the price of this BP and they are quite outdated.
  12. They ''don't move as much as the others'' to a point main toys shop don't want any of them. Most of the sets in the theme are either over priced, plain and the show doesn't get nearly as much views as Clone Wars.
  13. 20 Defenders? Make it 5 and I dare the Rebels trying anything. The Y-wing was a very old craft even by A New Hope standards; it's very slow, not maneuverable but it's shields are extremly strong and can pack a punch agaisn't immobile or really slow targets. In Legends the Defender has a pretty powerfull shield, ridiculous speed ( the a-wing is slow compared to this craft ), 4 laser cannons, 2 ion cannons, an advanced tractor beam vs fast targets and could carry a lot of explosive ordinance, be it advanced missiles or heavy rockets and a hyper drive. High capital ship threat right there. The only counter you can muster agaisn't a TIE defender is range and homing missiles or being surrounded by all sides: once you get close agaisn't it and you don't pilot a Defender yourself hyper drive home or die. Or if you've got yourself an Imperial Missile boat. I don't want to discredit the X-wing, but in a brawl even 5 x-wings don't cut it, they won't be able to even take a shot at it.
  14. The AFOL being a generally impatient creature, I waited a bit this time for 2x VIP points and snatched the following. - 1x Y-wing - 1x Battle on Scariff - 4x Imperial Battlepack - 1x Rebel Battlepack. I'm gonna check at my local Toys R Us if they've got any A-wing left, even if the price disgusts me a bit. I'll only have to bricklink Thrawn and I'm gonna be good until summer, meaning the two battlepacks, the selection blows :(
  15. It was nice to witness the Defender in action, although if it wasn't for the 2 y-wings had absolutly zero chances agaisn't that ship.
  16. Ever since they teased us with the Defender in Rebels I really wish for Lego to release one, the best star fighter in the galaxy bar none deserves some love! Edit: I wasn't even aware Lego made this in the past, it realy aged poorly!
  17. Castle theme was the most popular theme in Germany ( Lego's largest milk cow ) if I remember correctly. If there's anything we should be mad about is the 2013 theme which was extremly poor in my opinion, this must have tank horribly for them to produce only 5 sets. If they wanted to please both space and castle fans by merging them trying to please everyone they sure did missed the mark.
  18. I watched the second part of season 4 of Vikings, and I despise it as much as I liked season 3. Where the Franks showed great strenght, ingenuity and tactics the Saxons are dissapointing as ever. ( I know the show is not historically accurate ). Era saxon infantry were not on par with vikings infantry, but the Saxon's main assets, cavalry ( vikings were absolute SHIT vs cavalry ) and archers are barely showcased.
  19. This episode was really good, many cited the fact that empire based episodes are great, but also it's not a damn filler. My only nitpick is that why in hell didn't they beam pulled the escaping shuttle ( there was 3 ISD in the area ) and it was too short :(
  20. From an aesthetic point the theme drags a lot, an awefull lot of sets looks very similar with a few exception in year 2 ( 70353 and 70361 ), big wheeled vehicle with a color associated with the knight and their weapon. And to be fair year 2 Nexo Knights villains color palette is even more drab than Star Wars, I'm looking at you 70352. The quality is good, I don't know if kids love it or not, but I don't see this theme going full Ninjago on us, let's see if the sales justifies this theme going any further than after year 2.
  21. Lego's rendition of these guys are kinda meh, they really needed the side prints and kama cloth pieces. We'll probably see more RO sets in the future but it sucks that no summer sets are based on it.
  22. I went for the X-Wings series on PC and started with TIE Fighter: It's one heck of a badass game, and an extremly punishing one; TIE fighters only have one advantage and that's maneuverabilty, that's it! Even if they don't get shield Interceptors are so much better, insane speed, twice the fire power and can be equipped with missiles. I highly recommend it.
  23. Wow that preview is really nice! Hopefully it will be good, the concerned characters are interesting!
  24. The Lego Batman movie, it is incredibly good! Many laughs to be had when watching this!
  25. I really like the details and design of the rear part of the ship, especially the cabin area. The motherlode of cannons is also impressive but the masts and litteral shell of a structure really doesn't do it for me, especially the nose of the ship which is incredibly gappy. I'll want to see what the ship looks like in the movie but it looks like a case of poor source material. No reason to pop the rhum here for me. :(
