Vampire GT

I know that I had told you about this part before, but THIS may be an alternative for someone that is having problems finding the 19L flex axles... Or even THIS... Hopefully Lego brings this part back out again... Who knows, maybe it will make a return in an off the wall non Technic set someday soon.. -
I haven't built any new sets myself, but from what I've seen, they seemed to have evolved rather nicely as far as being as complex as they have in the past... I can also vividly remember building every large scale car model going the whole way back to the 853, and for as great as those memories were, I certainly wouldn't want to revisit them...

Well Eric... Looks like you got the first Legitimate Black Vampire completed... I am still waiting for my Panels... @meatman I wouldn't recommend taking the chrome wheels for a spin down an obstacle course in the woods mounted on a Trial Truck, but they will hold up just fine under normal play and display... -

That video made my day... Awesome work... -
If that is a Lamborghini Countach, then it is Skyliners... I have already contacted my webmaster from Spain and he has changed up the log in info... The guy was more than likely using my site as his host... I don't care if someone builds the model and sells it, but this isn't right... I also sent a message to that website, but I have no clue if it even went through or not.

Now let's try and predict how much Toys R Us will jack up the Prices... On a side note, I wonder why Lego doesn't advertise more and about selling parts on their website, they would have to make much more money selling parts individually than they do selling whole sets... It's almost like it's a secret that they sell parts to the public... I have heard this many times before and it just seems a little hard to believe... I know the Mindstorm sets are much more expensive, but my local Toys R Us will sell out of Technic sets frequently, but the same Mindstorm sets are still there...

I have to admit that I have been wanting to do something like that for a LONG time... But just for a Lego show or something... The Black Vamp with Red Under Glow would absolutely Rock...! I did a Pimpin' Blue car a few Years back and the Tag line was "Neon Lighting Not Included" -

There is always something new to learn when Nathanaël builds a model, that is for sure... -

If you remember last summer, you could order the 8110 Unimog parts a month earlier than the actual set released here in the States... What is odd to me is the fact that some panels are a few cents different than their mirror counterparts... -

Sorry, no extra Gold wheels... Actually I was building a similar front suspension for someone and realized that it could be built slightly better by changing a few simple things around and figured that I would let everyone who may have downloaded the instructions know about modding the steering... Like I said, it works fine the way that it is, but this switch makes it just a bit better... The model is a new smaller scale Chopped Hot Rod that I build for my Nephew who just turned 5...I wanted to build him something that was fairly Simple yet reliably constructed enough for him to play with... Yes, it is fairly basic with just steering, rear wheels moving the engine, and a working convertible top that raises and closes by turning a gear in the rear of the car... I tinkered around with it for about a month before I was happy with it... It can also be built in Yellow and Black... This is actually the first car model that I have built a convertible roof on... It actually works very well... -

Yes, that would be where this modification would take place... It isn't really a "change" it is more of an upgrade... It works fine the way it is, but performing this simple alteration makes the steering work just a bit better... Just like any Lego set or Model, there are always ways to improve things as time progresses... -

Well, I am going to offer the first modification to this model which is something that I didn't really consider because everything seemed to work so smoothly, but I did a simple redesign on the steering gear rack assembly, replaced a 7L liftarm with a 9L liftarm and flipped the Steering Hubs upside down which in turn resulted in a slightly tighter steering radius than before and also keeps the steering gear rack slightly more uniform resulting in the steering working a little more fluid... I also Finally got my Custom Blood Red Chromed Wheels for the model today... They actually do look much better when you see them in person than they do in the pictures... Blakbird can confirm this in a few days... Also tried out the New Gold Rims on the Red Model...
