  1. Thanks very much for that link, SuperSonic! This set is a little disappointing, but it still looks great. It looks likes there's a lot to play with in it, and the minifigs are great. Thanks again!
  2. Well people are kind of straying from the original idea of this thread - your 4 most wanted SW minifigures. Anyway, here's mine: 1. Queen Amidala 2. Kaminoan 3. Twi'leks (is that how you write it?) in various colours 4. Padme in Geonosian outfit
  3. Thanks for the great review, Dunjohn! I like this set, but there's a lot of room for improvement. First of all, two minifigures in a set of that price? Yes, the two of them are great, but there should be more. There should at least be an ADU trooper, and another civillian would be nice. Also, the ship just seems so bare. It's just a frame with a cockpit, not a mothership. There should be something in between the cockpit and the outer ring, like rooms or a docking station for smaller crafts. And the room we did get is too empty - there's nothing in it! Thanks again!
  4. Thanks for the pictures, Grogall! The sets look even better in these photos.
  5. That is a beautiful and amazing MOC, quy! There's so many great techniques used, and it all adds up to a so detour creation. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
  6. Thanks for the excellent reviw, DarkFader! This seems like a great little set. The minifigs are excellent, and the tree is very nice and fun. However, there's a few other sets from other themes I want a bit more than this, so it's most likely I won't get it. Thanks again for sharing this great review with us!
  7. These are all really good. I particularly like the one on the water by Scop. Well done! The Dark Forest by Gregorovich9, on Flickr This was quite fun to make. I used a colour changing app to make the inside of the forest seem darker.
  8. The exterior looks excellent! It really looks just as it does in the film. I love the crookedness of it. I look forward to the next update!
  9. Very nice MOD, greg3! I like how you've packed so much into such a small space. The tiled floor is great, and I love the little bit where they get the hair done (with the mirror and bottles etc.). Well done, and thanks for sharing!
  10. The new Kingdoms, City, Harry Potter and Alien Conquest sets are all ot and most have even been reviewed. I don't understand why the NinjaGO sets (which appear to be one of the themes TLG are putting the most effort into) aren't available yet. Does anyone have information on when these summer wave sets will arrive?
  11. I think this is a great set for such a small one. It's got a chicken, a bucket, new weapons, 2 figs, a gold crystal and armour. However, I think £10 is a bit much. Dobby's Release, The Forbidden Forest and The Captain's Cabin were all slightly bigger sets than this, with 3+ minifigures and were all licensed, yet they cost the same as this small, non licensed set with 2 minifigures? Thanks for the great review!
  12. The MOC really looks amazing, but it's the photography that really got my attention. I love the first two pictures the most. It looks as though this is going to be one amazing MOC! The building looks good, and the rocky area with the dead pirate looks very realistic. Well done, I can't wait for the next update!
  13. Thanks for the good review, SuperChris! Good pictures and some funny commentary! However, could you please take a close-up picture of the bunkbeds room and Trelawney's class? I do like this set quite a lot. I think it looks quite impressive by itself, and even more so when connected to last year's castle. There's a lot of interior details crammed inside, but I think they should've made the dungeons at the bottom have something inside(chamber of secrets?), and that they should've made that empty room the Ravenclaw common room or something like that. Also they should've made the bunkbeds different colours (black with yellow or blue with brown) to show that it's the Room of Requirement, and not just a Gryffindor dormitory. And I think that the cups in the Divination Classroom should be white, not random colours, and there should be a cushion for someone to sit on. The figures are nice, and although people complain about another Mr. Malfoy, I think they chose the figures wisely. I like the new Lupin, and Sprout is excellent (although I do wish she had a dual sided head, she looks wierd with that odd smile all the time). Overall though, I think TLG did a good job with this set. Thanks again!
  14. Sorry, but I have to prove you wrong, there . Harry has appeared in various sets (Knight Bus, The Burrow, Hogwarts Express) wearing casual clothing. Ron has appeared in Hogwarts Express wearing casual clothes, and all three were in Diagon Alley wearing non-uniforms (although Hermione's was stolen from Ginny). However, I get what you mean about new outfits for the trio. I like your idea about Ministry of Magic Escape. It could be a mid-sized set, with 2 Flu Network fireplaces (the same function as the one in the burrow but with a different exterior design), the Magic is Might statue, the Courtroom, a golden elevator and Umpbridge's office. It would come with Runcorn/Harry, Hopkirk/Hermione, (can't remember his name)/Ron and Umpbridge(new face). I'm not sure how the whole thing would be laid out, but I'm sure the good people in TLG could work something out!
  15. I like this new version a lot! It's quite a bit more accurate than the first attempt, and it looks very good. I look forward to the next one, well done, and good luck with it!
  16. That's an interesting idea. I wonder if it will be? I hope it's not, though, as that will most likely make the price higher.
  17. Thanks. I know that the fireplace was in the castle, but I think that fireplaces are sort of a Christmasy thing, and Black's face gives it an HP touch. The table is also in Hogwarts, but it's not necessarily from it, if you get what I mean . It could be from, say, 12 Grimmauld Place or something like that. And about the mini-models, I hate the things (I only like minifigure-scale things), but I know most calendars have them. But thanks anyway!
  18. The MOC is excellent, and the presentation is just as good! I really love the lighting, especially in that last shot. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
  19. That really is amazing, TazManiac! I love how you've made the ship so detailed at such an odd angle, and the tentacle is brilliant. All the action is great, too. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
  20. Good one, Jammie! That's quite funny (no offence, Oky!), and the surrounding equiptment is all brilliantly designed. Well done!
  21. You're probably right. I don't think they'd show a preview of this set if it was going to be made, seeing as they hate people posting prelims so much. However, I hope you're wrong . I hope that this is a sign of a continuation, and that this theme lives for a few more years. I doubt it, though.
  22. Althouh I never knew anything about the QAR before the LEGO set arrived, I find this is quite interesting. It's funny that this is happening at the same time as the release of OST. Thanks for sharing, Cammy!
  23. That really is amazing, Jasper Joppe Geers! There's too many amazing details that it'd be near impossible to pick a favourite. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
  24. That temple really was worth the wait (but the wait wasn't so bad, as your story and landscape made it interesting). I like the pillars a lot. However, how did the temple not fill up with sand? Well done, and thanks for sharing!
  25. I think he means a new chance to get the Taun-Taun. And I don't think were getting a new one, if the Han is almost exactly the same as in the set with the Taun-Taun. EDIT: he replied before me.
