I agree with you about wanting a MoM set, but I disagree about Malfoy Manor. So far Bellatrix has only appeared in one of the larger sets, and Hermione has only appeared in the largest set and a medium sized set. This looks as though it is relatively cheap (a wall with some furniture, 5 figs). It's also looks as though Hermione and Narcissa have some new clothes, plus it's possible that the mystery fig is new. So I'm quite happy about this possible new set.

Both are very good, but I like the 2nd one a bit more. It's more detailed, and I just like it a bit more. I like the little secret entrance a lot on both of them. Could we get more pictures, please? Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the picture! The new figures do look great. My favourite is the Bacta-Tank Luke, because I never thought we'd see him like that. I also love that red protocol Droid, and I like this version of Leia. They make me want to see the set they're in even more, though... I don't like the new Dengar at all. It appears his head wrap is just the pirate bandana in white. I know it's good to get it in a new colour, but I think the PoP one is better.

I agree with the person who said about the Advent Calendar. However, I'd change a few things off their list. They wouldn't necessarily be in this order, but I'd like to see all of the following items, though I doubt we will: Day 1: Harry in jumper knitted by Molly Weasley with the Invisibility Cloak Day 2: Ron in jumper knitted by Molly Weasley with two presents Day 3: Hermione in Yule Ball attire (dark purple dress with dress slope, S4 ice skater hair in reddish brown) with glass Day 4: Mini Hogwarts Express engine Day 5: Trolley with suitcases and Hedwig Day 6: Rita Skeeter (Willie Scott hair, lime green suit with scarlet feathers around the neck, nasty smile/annoyed face) with lime green feather (Quick Quotes Quill) and parchment Day 7: Mini Hogwarts Castle (some towers at varius heights, one thick room for Main Hall, sand green cones for roofs) Day 8: Fireplace with Sirius Black's face Day 9: Gryffindor four-poster bed Day 10: Snow-covered tree with Fang the dog Day 11: Gringotts vault with Philosipher's Stone Day 12: Honeydukes shop window (same window pane as in Shrieking Shack) with chocolate frog, lollipops and printed chocolate bars Day 13: Mini Knight Bus Day 14: Herbology classroom with Mandrakes and other plants Day 15: Quidditch ball chest, 2 brooms and a trophy Day 16: Bookshelf with books and smashed lantern Day 17: Cauldron with shelf full of potions and PotC bottles Day 18: Professor Trelawney (similar to old one, but with old Hermione hair in medium nougat) with crystal ball, chair and two white cups and globe Day 19: Sink and tap with toilet and boiling potion Day 20: Tent (makes use of fabric tent piece from IJ Jungle Duel) - exterior Day 21: Tent - interior (beds, table, boxes, lantern, books). Put these inside tent from day 20 Day 22: Transfiguration Classroom with chair, table with rat, and teacher's desk with McGonnagle as cat and silver goblet and blackboard Day 23: Table with turkey, goblets and other food Day 24: Christmas tree Day 25: Dumbledore dressed as Santa with sack of presents

3x Series 4 minifigures, which were the artist (amazing figure!), Hazmat guy (love his helmet) and skateboarder. If I get the Musketeer, the Viking, the Hockey Player and Frankenstein then this will be my first ever complete series!

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Gregorovich replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
I'm not sure if I believe this. Seeing as this isn't an exclusive, I thought we'd at least have got an image by now if this were true. However, I certainly hope it's coming next week, because I can't wait to see this ship! -
You say it's just an extension to MMV, but really it's a magnificent MOC. The details are so brilliant and realistic. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

I'd never even heard of this before ! Thanks for the great review, though. I'm sure those printed number bricks should come in handy sometime, and the cheerleader is such a beautiful fig. However, I've already got her, so I probably won't be hunting this down. Thanks again for the review (and letting me know this set existed )

Argos Hamilton has just started stocking the PotC sets. They are priced rather oddly, however. Captain's Cabin is £10.99 instead of £9.99, and Isla de la Muerta is £20.99 instead of £19.99. This annoyed me, as I only had a tenner .
-
Thanks for this. Did it have any written information around it? I really hope that this does become a set. I hope that the background is actual LEGO, though. I think that the unknown could be Ollivander, Malfoy or Scabior. Thanks again for sharing!

Hair Salon Price: £24.99 Minifigures: 2 female hairdressers, 1 woman with her hair being styled, 1 woman with a 'stylish' haircut Includes: small-ish building with big windows and a colourful sign. There is a basin behind the chairs, and there is multicoloured bottles around the building. There is a till/register at the front of the shop, and there is plain heads with various hairpieces on them. There is drawers with a new scissor mould inside. Across from the chairs there is a waiting room, with a table, chairs, a cup and a new printed magazine. Fashion Store Price: £29.99 Minifigures: 1 female Shop assistant, 1 male customer, 1 female customer carrying shopping bags, 1 little girl, 2 mannequins. Includes: medium sized shop, with bright sign and pavement with streetlight outside. There is big windows with the mannequins in them. Inside at the door there is theft detectors (brick built) and there is a counter with a till at the front. There is racks with new torsos that show no flesh on them. There is a few hat racks and a jewellery stand by the counter. At the back there is two changing rooms (similar to those in the Gramd Emporium). And here's a couple of sets for the regular city theme... Restaurant Price: £44.99 Minifigures: 1 chef, 1 waiter, 2 female customers, 2 male customers, 1 child. Includes: 2 storey building with pavement etc... On the ground floor there is a desk with a piece of paper and a till/register. There is a pot plant next to it. There is a table with two chairs. On the table there is two sets of cutlery, 2 White dishes with food, 2 glasses, a PotC bottle in new colour and a 1x1 round brick in a transparent colour (a lantern). There is also a door to the kitchen. Inside it there is counters, pots, pans, food, a cooker, an oven, a microwave, a fridge and a spinable silver thing with printed 1x2 tiles on it (orders). Beside the door is stairs to the 1st floor. In there is 4 tables which are the same as the one on the ground floor. There is a couple more pot plants. Cafe Price: £19.99 Minifigures: 1 cafe owner/waitress, 1 female customer, 1 male customer. Includes: small building with bright sign, pavement etc... Inside is 3 small tables with chairs. They all have cups/mugs and one has a dish with a croissant on it. At the back there is a counter with a till. There is a 6 wide windscreen on white bricks with croissants, cakes and other food in it. On top of the windscreen is a dish with grapes, cherries and an apple in it. Behind that is a gap for the waitress, then behind that is a few cupboards, a microwave (silver cupboard with trans-blue door) and a coffee machine. Personally, I'd love to see these made. I love cooking and food, and I love female minifigs and I'd like to see the everyday side of life LEGO city.

2 Modular Buildings - Old town Bar and store
Gregorovich replied to brickcitydepot's topic in LEGO Town
Those are really stunning buildings, brickcitydepot! The level of detail on the facade is amazing, and the interior is also full of great furniture. Well done, and thanks for sharing! -
Free LEGO promotion with UK Sun and News of the World
Gregorovich replied to pedro's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
That's great news for me, seeing as I missed out on every single one. I don't usually get the chance to go to the usual LEGO shops, but I often go to ASDA to get food etc... Is it the toy aisle they're in, or some other aisle? I hope (but doubt) that they have leftover Jacks ... -
IMO, the new Millennium Falcon is okay, but just okay. The exterior looks alright, however inaccurate. I think it looks quite good, and it looks nice and durable. The interior is very boring and lacking, though. The 2004 version's interior wasn't spectacular either, but the engine at the back looked much better (it had those beautiful trans-blue heads!), but this one looks awful. Apart from the rather poorly designed beds, the new MF has nothing new in the interior. As much as I've complained about the interior, I still think that this set is overall very nice. But be that as it may, it still doesn't justify the £140 price tag .

Nice robot, Zyniker! I like how it's kind of like a Bionicle, but can fit minifigs inside. I don't know if you meant it, but in the first pic it looks like he has a gorilla face, which looks really good. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

[LDD MOC] Mark Ronson with his keyboard...
Gregorovich replied to BrickWild's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well done. I like this kit a lot, seeing as it's so jam packed with nice features. You could incorporate it into some larger MOC, of a concert hall or a music festival. He's a British techno artist. I'm sure you'll find some of his songs if you look him up on YouTube or iTunes. -
Great van, Lego Amaryl! The colour choice is good, and I like the Classic Town feel of it. The flap and interior are nice, too. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
-
Welcome, Leanne! I've already seen and posted on your wonderful pub MOC. You're obviously a talented builder, so I'm sure you'll fit right in here! I hope you enjoy your time here, and I hope you find a nice house soon!

I think this would be better suited in the Star Wars or Licensed forums, but it doesn't really matter... Anyway, it's a very funny and original design that I'd never have thought of! The podracer is excellent, and I'm very happy that you took the time to make that excellent scenery for the model. The ostriches' helmets are very funny, too. Well done, and thanks for sharing! I don't know if the contest is over yet, but if it's not, good luck!
-
They're excellent for an AFOL, never mind a 7 year old! Well done to him, they're certainly better than anything I could build! I don't watch a lot of kids' shows, so I'm not sure about most of the characters. However, I recognised Wally (Waldo if your American) and Homer Simpson. Well done to your son, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Pandora, for the great review! I think the set looks excellent from the outside. It looks really busy and colourful. However, the inside is boring and dull. The surf shop really needs more merchandise, and the cafe should have food and some way of getting up to it . The minifig selection is alright IMO. Three new torsos, a semi-rare hairpiece and a female. However, the lifeguard should be dressed in a lifeguard outfit (how's he going to save people whilst wearing a casual hoodie and jeans?), and the female should be more rare than a common head (no offence to your sig!), a common-ish torso and the most common female hairpiece. Thanks again for the very in depth and well photographed review!
-
Thanks, Bane, for the link to those pictures. I've actually come to like the new Leia. I think that the new head is a lot better than the ugly old one, and the new hairpiece, though unnecessary, is quite nice. I like the new Luke hairpiece a lot, but the face is too angry looking. I think they should have made it dual-sided, one angry one calm. Han is pretty much the same. Ben also looks a bit too stern IMO. Watto is excellent, as he's so detailed. Anakin is good, apart from the face with the goggles, as it's far too cartoony. Young Obi-Wan is okay, but his face looks a little off to me. The little alien that I don't recognise has an excellent head, and is just overall a nice fig. It's nice to get a new Padme, but I wish she had a new outfit. The outfit she's wearing is still good, though, and the hairpiece is very nice. The Hermione face is alright for her, but I would have appreciated a new print. Pananka's skin should be darker, but overall is excellent, and I like the new Qui-Gon. However, I'm not a fan of the new Darth Maul. The previous version was a lot better, IMO. I think it will be almost exactly the same, but with the Tamina head, and perhaps a new torso print (though I don't know why they would, the old one is suitable).

Quite honestly, I thought it looked a little boring at first. But now that I know this is an actual unearthing of a temple, it's a lot more exciting! I can't wait to see the finished thing!
-
The dune is very nicely constructed, and looks quite realistic. Is there a temple inside it? Well done!
-
This is just a guess, and I'm very doubtful, but is it a sewing machine?
