Thanks for those photos! The differences they made are nice, especially the fact that the astronauts have hair (the female one only appearing in 1 other set). I'm not going to get this set because it's so expensive, but I still like it.

Great kiosk, HeLena! Your custom logo looks great, and I like all the homemade paper cups. The different shades of green look nice with the black and white, too. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Changing your Avatar on an iPod Touch?
Gregorovich replied to Gregorovich's topic in Forum Information and Help
Thanks for the answers. I was just asking incase I was picked to play in the new mafia game and I'd need a picture of my character. It's fine, though, I'll just put one in my signature. Thanks anyway! -
After months of living rough, she just couldn't take it anymore. The police had been searching for her for, so she could no longer live in a place above ground incase they caught her. She couldn't even stay in a hotel in case the police found her, so she'd been living in a sewer. She had plenty of money, but she couldn't buy anything good because she had to move around just to be safe. The two officers who had been on the case had finally managed to track her down using tip offs from local people. The road had been closed off so they could get through the drain. They looked through the drain, and saw her lying there in a sleeping bag. She looked rather pathetic, lying there dirty, skinny and weak. They found it hard to believe that she had managed to live like that for so long. They quietly lifted up the cover so as not to let her know she was there. The thing they didn't know was that she was tired of running. She was tired of it all, and just couldn't continue with it. So she got up, took out her gun, and carried out her final escape plan: The Last Escape by Gregorovich9, on Flickr The Last Escape by Gregorovich9, on Flickr The officers lifting the drain cover off. England, maybe, but not us . We don't even get into the world cup, never mind stand a chance of winning!

I comment on most MOC's. Usually, if I don't comment on it it's because I don't have time. I like most MOC's I see here, and almost all of them are much better than the ones I make. If there's things I think the builder could improve on, I write it in my comment. I also usually say what I do like about it. Another reason I might not comment is because there's just some things I don't look at. I almost never visit the technic or action figures forums, and I don't often look at SW MOC's. So if I don't comment on your MOC's, you now know why .

That's amazing! It really is a great looking house, and a great concept, too. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Looks good, I like the layout. Are you going to be adding your shopping centre to the town? Good luck, and well done!

How open are you about your Lego passion?
Gregorovich replied to Fugazi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm not too open about it. My 8 siblings know, and they tease me about it. My youngest brother and the twins (3rd and 4th youngest) kind of like it, as I sometimes let them use my bricks, and I sometimes help them build some things (though the twins are better than me ). My parents don't talk about it often. They're fine with me having an interest in it, but they don't like me spending a lot of money on it. My closer friends know about it, but my friends that aren't so close don't know. During high school I never mentioned it to anyone, because I knew I'd get made fun of for it. Now that we're all older though they're not too bothered. I always feel extremely embarrassed when buying LEGO. When I go to the counter, I can feel my face going red . I'm at that annoying age when I seem to old to be buying LEGO for myself, but am a bit too young to be buying it for my kids (I know some people my age have children, but there's not too many of them). I hope someday I'll be able to be so open about my hobby, because being embarrassed about sometimes stops me getting new sets. -
Thanks! I'll try and make the last one soon, I'm still searching for the parts. But please, everyone, don't get your hopes up. I'm not that good at making these! I don't want you all to be disappointed!

Vignette: Midnight Heist
Gregorovich replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you, Ninja Nin! To answer your question, it is Death Star Trooper armour she's wearing. I wanted it to look more like a skintight catsuit than armour, but this was the closest thing I had. Thanks, Daniel's Dad! If you look in the Town forum for a vignette called "The Escape", you'll find out whether or not she gets away . I'm planning to do one last vignette for this series. I've got it all planned out, but I'm still looking for the bricks I need for it... EDIT: Vignette: The Escape -
I'm not sure on this. I think that there is a possibility if they do as LT said and do remakes, but I doubt they'd re release the exact sets. Sure, that would be nice as I missed out on them (other than the Batcave which my brother got - great set !). Although I'm kind of sceptical, I really hope they do re introduce the theme. It had so many great parts and minifigs, and a new one would have even more!

REVIEW: 8805 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5
Gregorovich replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for getting back to me, Whitefang. I'm disappointed that they have no backprinting on the females, but it's not that big a problem because they're fronts and accessories are all nice. Is this a worldwide price increase, or just in certain places? I certainly hope that they don't go up to £2.50. I mean, 50p doesn't seem much, but I does add up if you want to get them all. It's quite a big issue IMO that they're bringing the prices up by 25%, but I don't think it's a cause for caps and coloured letters. And I disagree about TLG choking on their greed - no TLG means no LEGO ! -
Vignette: Battle at the Golden Tower
Gregorovich replied to Gregorovich's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks. As I said, I can't improve it because it's already been broken down. But I do agree with you, it would look better with more SNOT work. -
I was watching LotR the other night, and it made me want to build something fantasy castle-ish. I don't have nearly enough bricks to build a decent castle, so this is the result, a balcony segment of a golden castle: Battle at the Golden Castle by Gregorovich9, on Flickr The Queen had been on her balcony, thinking about all her problems. Her father had died a few weeks ago, and her mother died giving birth. She was just seventeen, and not nearly old or mature enough to rule an entire Kingdom. She had the help of her advisor, someone her father had known for many years, and the aid of her private protector, a skilled former assassin from the Orient. All of a sudden, the ground shook. She looked into the distance, and saw huge army charging towards her castle. She recognised it instantly as the vicous Troll army, lead by Marissa the Goblin sorceress. Trolls scaled the walls, and set fire whatever they could. Marissa yelled orders in them in a language that the Queen couldn't understand. Battle at the Golden Castle by Gregorovich9, on Flickr The Queen ran inside to get her Advisor in his office. She had no idea what to do. As she ran through the doors, her protector ran onto the balcony, along with an Elf she didn't know. The two fought against the hoards of trolls using deadly skill and precision. Battle at the Golden Castle 2 by Gregorovich9, on Flickr Marissa and a Troll warrior. A couple of the vignette without figures: Untitled by Gregorovich9, on Flickr Untitled by Gregorovich9, on Flickr As always, I'd love to hear comments, but I can't actually improve it as it's already been destroyed. Thanks for looking!

Well done to everyone who took part, and especially the winners! I kept think "I'll vote later", but it closed before I did. The winners are all very deserving, though, so well done. And good luck to all those in the raffle!

Great idea! The colour coded dots is quite clever, and the lettering is very good. I love the scene at the bottom, please show us the ones for other months, too! Well done, and thanks for sharing!

This looks brilliant! I'd love to be part of this, if you'd let me. I am going on holiday, but there's Internet connection at the house so it hardly matters. If you don't choose me to play, then I'll be sure to watch this at the sidelines, as I can already tell it will be hilarious. I have played in one game before: Sandy's excellent Escape from Isla Paradisa. I didn't do too well in it, but I did pass, so I can play the game. I'd like to play in a non-school game, though, so please consider me. Thanks for the opportunity, even if I'm not chosen!

Nice restaurant, Captain Tamamono! I like the colour choices, the green yellow and red work well together, and look really pizza restaurant-y. The simple square shape is nice and has a very classic-town feel. The interior is a little bare, but I love the kitchen with the sink full of dirty dishes! I think you could improve this MOC by maybe tiling the floor? It looks a little unfinished IMO, but if you're happy with the way it looks, then who am I to judge? Well done, anyway, and thanks for sharing with us!
-
Great work, Klementina! I love all the small details, it looks quite realistic. The rockwork is good, and I like how you've positioned the minifigs. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

That's a nice idea. I've never heard of that tradition before, but I might just do something like that for my 1000th post. Well done, anyway, and thanks for being a great member of this society!

MOC : Diorama Paris 1930 (all parts together)
Gregorovich replied to lego-maniac's topic in LEGO Town
I've seen the individual MOC's, and they look brilliant, but together they're just stunning! Well done to all of you, and thanks for sharing with us! -
Great ice cream parlour, Mariko! The outside looks perfect, with it's brilliant sign and the nice brickwork. The inside also looks nice, with it's tiled floor and the good furnishings. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Great new shop! We don't get much Gardening store MOC's, so it's nice to get one as good as this. I like all the details, and the building looks good too. Well done, and thanks for sharing!
