I wouldn't really say its overkill quite yet LEGO has always "fallen in love" per say when they make a new windshield part. This part dominated the 90s and still is used today Used constantly but no one really complained. I think its a really nice windshield, perfect for the Bus from City Corner. The fire truck is nice but I sort of like the 07 one better. Just because I own it

Thanks! That is a shame the Mail Van I really wanted as it was a cool set I hope they make a Post Office that has another Mail Truck On BL the prices are quite steep in the USA and airmail international isn't much better As for the service Station Sadly I don't live in Europe and shipping would be too much compared to if I buy in the store They really need to have longer run time of these sets The other problem that made me angry was they were both TRU exclusives

Whoa that is awesome! I really wish they had stuff like that around here. Either that or the "put as many LEGO sets in your shopping cart in 1 minute" and all the ones you get in you keep

Soda truck is a brilliant idea Klaus-dieter! I also like the club car idea, modernized to go with a modernized metroliner. LEGO really needs to make better interior details on passenger trains like they did on the metoliner it had snack bar, wash bin, engine room, sleeping area, storage, seating area and 2 engineer control rooms! Most of the new trains only have chairs and tables Not really a difficult thing to include either.

I was wondering has anyone been able to find these two sets still available for purchase in the USA? Mail Van and Service Station

Congrats to the winners! Good job to all the entries

There is only one word to describe this travesty Galidor *flashback*

Excellent Job to all the entries I voted for Dresden Rail Car, which is really cool

Thanks for these pictures! Small Car (doesn't have a small price ) Obviously its a smart car or electric vehicle. The figure is cool and has a nice torso However the price is an outrage Fire Station: This one I think is slightly better than the 2007 one which was my previous favorite I like it alot and the fact that they are saving a cat from the tree is funny Good job by LEGO! Lighting Repair Truck: Very cool and I like how they have a green trash can for recyclables Also it has a great price and is a must buy for me Seaplane: This is a really neat little plane! Nothing much else to say As for the others they are meh

Thanks for the info! This has provided me with all the answers I had. You get saved stamps on cards converted to points which is good. Every $1 you spend you gain, now I don't worry about taxes and having to have precise amounts Last time I needed something for $2 to get another stamp and the cheapest thing (of which i did not like/need) was $5 I am going October 19th to the LEGO store in Honolulu again so I can qualify for the 50 free points for joining These incentives are awesome However this is a bummer for people who do not live by a Lego store or even have one in their country! This program really needs to be expanded to online use too. However I bet LEGO is afraid that people will build up points fast and be getting gift cards frequently. The way they have it set up is to make you want to get the gift card while you are there and spend the amount of money to get it. Oh well, I like this way much better than the stamps

BL order came today! In there was a trans black diamond

I hope in the future LEGO decides to make Castle sets like in the old days. Castles, Black Falcons against the King, Forestmen No more fantasy crap stuff. I am more of a historic person. I would like to see regular Castle life. Much like they did in Pirates. The medieval Market set was brilliant. Just like in Pirate forum I would vote for Historic accuracy over fantasy with castle

Could it really be ending? I was quite excited upon hearing the rumors about the theme. Seeing the Lego logo with the classic Indy artwork next to it. Joining in the discussion, speculating. Then came the preliminary pictures which were very blurry but I was quite pleased with what I saw. Early Set reviews, cameos for Motorcycle chase on Ebay for $60 just to get it before everyone else Admiring the Fedora, whip and handbag, seeing them used in MOCs in a plethora of ways. Next line came out along with the 4th film. I was not a fan of the sets from the beginning. However Jungle duel I bought for accessories. Oh and the brilliant airplane set. Whining about having so many Indiana Jones that were all the same. Being an ingrate because I was lucky to even have gotten an official Indiana Jones figure from LEGO. The new sets with Indiana Jones wearing different outfits came out and I was quite pleased. LEGO speculations that they were not making Temple of Doom sets because it was Dark Then coming out with them anyway We have had some great things come from Indy. I would be happy if the line came to an end tomorrow. However I would like to see it continue. *Indiana Jones ending theme song* Now about a certain adventures theme..........

What's your favorite LEGO license theme so far?
Piranha replied to BrickMonster MonsterBrick's topic in LEGO Licensed
Rare License forum appearance time Indiana Jones Excellent source of new parts and has some awesome sets! -
Order of special parts from MagicBricks on BL My collection grows

Some tough choices this year Honorable mention for me are the Farm and Wind Turbine I had to go with City Corner though It defines an awesome city set, great buildings, a vehicle and cool figs. Perfect City Set I also don't consider the Emerald Night a City set, its box art is designed to be a Exclusive No City logos anywhere. A collector train

I mentioned this in City 2010 Topic but I can be more in depth here Metroliner: Modern day redesign of the classic Metroliner Includes the Train, track and a little but well built station Plenty of figs and extras like bikes and such, trees and train signal Large Train Station: Built as a compliment for the metroliner Includes large terminal with food court, ticket stands and waiting area also could have a bus depot section Level train crossing: The part of the town where the train crosses over the road Control tower and maybe another small civilian building like a ice cream shop
-
You guys love making this tough for me huh? Excellent job to all the entries!! I could only pick one and in the end I voted for The Ghan! Nice job!
-
yeah there was a discrepancy error there by brown paddle is a spatula Brown Paddle/Spatula Looks like I can cross some off heheh

I think that is an excellent idea for a compromise! Make the 2010 train set an elevated rail or monorail and the TRU exclusive a Town Center This is also a way to include 2 trackside structures with the elevated train if it is based off the Airport shuttle I also think we will see the Taxi and stand as a set, which is great because I thought it was cute. Next year If we get all those I will be very happy and the overkill of Fire and airport sets won't bother me
-
Yes everything you said is true and gives reasonable doubt. I like to draw alot of conclusions though The Monorail would compete with the trains but don't the trains already compete with each other? For example, your in the store, you have a Cargo Train and the Passenger Train, you can only buy 1 That is competition is it not? I would see though if the Monorail looks more appealing, but I would find it hard to chose a Monorail over a well designed modern day metroliner I would like to see both, but If I only see one then I am still happy
-
Actually all of them are Brasso? I thought the viking helms were non production and not someone compromising the part Thanks anyhow.
-
I also noticed that in the conceptional art of the Town Center, the Brown building that says Cafe on it, looks like the Pizza restaurant from City Corner! I draw two conclusions from this There are many sets in the Truck Stop and City Square that have been made already However in the Transportation art only the Bus exists This makes me think that the exclusive will be a train or Highly likely a monorail because that is more exclusive and they are planning regular trains for 2010. The only reasonable thing left for the exclusive would be a modern day Airport shuttle I also think that the 2010 Trains will be a blue Train like in the art, basically a modern day Metroliner Speculation is fun
-
Yea I was going to buy and use rechargeable batteries, because it has a nice shape and I liked it Very true that Lego is not our friend, one example is the straight and curved baseplates being in different packs On a different note, any news on what the train sets for 2010 will be? Will they be PF? Monorail or elevated trail? I also wonder about the TRU exclusive
