I got my VIP card 2 weeks ago at the Honolulu LEGO store! 25 Bonus points for doing a survey! 25 Bonus points for finishing the online registration! After some purchases I am 18 points away from the 1st award! Hopefully I will visit again soon and they will have the 2010 sets

Disappointed that it got discontinued so fast I set out to get a Mail Van Prices were crazy, ranging from $20 to a USA one to $10 for an Australian one where shipping would cost $7.00 However I found a very reasonable priced one in the USA for $12.50 shipped Original list price for this set : $8.00

Special Minifigures- What Do You Want Next?
Piranha replied to Tom Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Some good ideas! I won't repeat any but here are some new ones! 1. Greek Soldier (Spartan) 2. Surfer (like my avatar) 3. Press person (newspaper) 4. TV anchor -
Oh cool topic! Cargo Trains are good because they have alot of extra features that you wouldn't normally find on a passenger train. There also good models like the BNSF that have been mentioned. With a cargo train you can have a crane, lots of cars and most will be different. They also have the possibilities to make lots of add on-s. Like a petrol tanker, freezer car or grain car. Compared with a passenger train which virtually all the train cars are the same. You also explore the possibilities for sets, you can have cargo depots and the sets can include a crane, cars and containers. Passenger Trains on the other hand I prefer for looks. I like the modern feel of them, they look very sleek and eye pleasing compared to the bulky parts of a cargo train. Plus passenger trains are more practical for a city layout. You can have level crossings and nicely done passenger train stations. The interior details also greatly improve, for sleeping, dining, restrooms, storage and control engine rooms. One of the best examples of this is on the Metroliner. In the end my vote goes to Passenger Trains

The tan thing is where the farmer puts the pigs food (slop) The pistol is a fountain that shoots water in the blue basket (sink) I agree that putting in a dog was dumb However the pig is cool Yes I also agree they have used that overall torso! 3 sets already!

Clever idea for a MOC! I don't think this was even an idea in the "Ideas for New City sets" thread Great work! I really enjoy the whole MOC. The freezer is a nice touch as is all the vehciles such as forklift and cargo truck!

Oh really? Thanks! That is good to hear and I did not think of that. Seeing pictures in this order threw me off, as I assumed these pics were the latest.

Thanks! The Farmer impulse is very nice  Pig and Dog! Octan Truck is also very cool and I will have to buy it for sure! Although its old, these super clear pics make it look even better! The Traveler impulse is neat and I will buy that too. Looks like the smart car just got cut, the only thing that made me want is gone They switched the hoodie minifig with the bbq impulse guy wearing a strange shirt

Nice work! I like it! Suggestion: Maybe add an Octan sign on the Roof? Or one of those street visible signs?
-
Nice Work! As Brickster said , everyone would love for LEGO to make small add on cars for trains like this!

BrickShelf ever since it closed down then reopened has been up and down alot I have noticed. I hope this is not permanent as it is my favorite site to post Lego related stuff on!

Nice Find Some of these figs are really nice and are very detailed ! I especially like the Spaceman! Makes me think of maybe a modern day remake of Classic Space The gun or laser gun looks like a new part! Similar to the SW Rex Clone small Blasters! I also like the Cowboy/gunslinger figure! So where can I find these in USA and how much? -
I agree.... Which speaking of is why I bought a second one at the LEGO store recently 2 GREEN for me now

Great job I really like the SYSTEM scale look of this MOC. Would look nice on any cargo train. This makes me think of the 2010 Octan Tanker Truck
