  1. Ruslik - Alex "Daredevil" Brave - 3
  2. Yes, that printing is beautiful. I hope we get a more generic suit Batman with leg/arm printing someday. I was also reading the Brick Heroes blog for info on the Shazam promo fig and the translation reads this: I hope this means more than one promo fig.
  3. Great MOC, I absolutely love this ride. Any chance of getting the queue line as a MOC?
  4. This one. With the accompanying text: I believe recently we got some more information on TLG indeed producing some Superman sets for the upcoming film. And the Hobbit info was correct as well. So maybe we will see a DKR set soon. Interesting, I am looking forward to seeing what that set will be. IIRC TLG has neither directly confirmed or denied the production of a DKR set, yet.
  5. So no TDKR set despite the Variety articles and the theatrical poster with the LEGO logo? That is defintely a huge disappointment for me, as the Nolan films are my favorite rendition of Batman to date. I wasn't expecting an exact movie set, maybe something like in 2008 when we got the Bat Tumbler and the comic Joker hybrid set. This is a huge wasted chance to get a new Bat tumbler, Bat-pod or Bat-wing. Although I could see the Tumbler being released in the future possibly. Shazam promo at CC? That is cool, but I would prefer to have cool figs in their own set. Or like with the Hulk promo in May, spend x amount and get one.
  6. Great job done by everyone who entered. sok117- 3
  7. These are some very nice designs Wrinkledog! I like the lion and sheep packs the best. You have my support on CUUSOO. I do wish TLG would release animal packs like these, similar to the old parts packs they had some years ago (Trees & flowers etc). Or even better put them in online PAB.
  8. These would have to be my favorite figs from each series: Series 1: Astronaut Series 2: Spartan Series 3: Fisherman Series 4: Musketeer Series 5: Zookeeper Series 6: Highlander Series 7: Aztec Series 8: TBD
  9. Great MOC LuxorV! Hopefully, as the Superheroes theme progresses, we will get more Iron Man suits to fill the display area up. I also wouldn't be suprised to see TLG make some sort of rendition of his Lab/Workshop.
  10. I enjoyed the perspective you captured your Micro-scale scene in!
  11. I am going to say a little earlier, 2007 was the start of the current golden age, having great sets in City, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman and more. Prior to that, the late 80s-early 90s.
  12. Not after, I am hoping for "during". Any new historical theme would be greatly welcomed, Greeks, Romans, Western etc. Of course I am also hoping we get new/more Kingdoms sets involving Forestmen and Falcon Knights.
  13. Ah yes, much pain and suffering.
  14. That is one impressive and well built display! I love all the IFS variations. I would be highly interested in seeing a separate MOC thread for those. The islands, ship in dry dock and volcano are all great details.
  15. Just for fun, (not an entry) here is mine, I started with just the tree but decided I needed something better. Now with 110% more butterflies.
  16. Moved to culture and multimedia, a mod will have to merge it with the pinned topic, as I don't have the power to do so in this forum.
  17. After seeing the July 2012 LEGO Store Calender, there is no mention of a TDKR set anywhere. There is still a possibility for August, but if not, I doubt it happening this year. It could also be shown at the SDCC. Just have to wait and see I guess.
  18. Well, there is one confirmed picture, the Pirate Captain.
  19. Thanks for the list! Minifigs I am highly interested in: Ancient Thespis Pirate Captain Conquistador Diver (Hoping for the late 1800s one jonwil mentioned) Trader (Hoping for Frontiersmen) Red Cheerleader Cowgirl Medium Interest: Fairy Football Player No Interest for now: Enemy Robot Evil Female Alien Vampire Skier Santa Claus Boy in Bavarian costume DJ
  20. Very nice work Doc! The updated index will make it easier for everyone to find their favorite MOC now.
  21. They have actually done sets for Indiana Jones & Star Wars, some being exclusive, most being a mix mash of available sets repacked in a promo box. So getting a set would not be totally out of the question, but still unlikely.
  22. Very nice review! I like this set, it is simple and does the job well. The original Metro Park was a classic set and it is nice to get a new version finally. The stickers are quite useful and the selection of vehicles is alright. The elevator feature works nicely. Overall I would rate this set at 3.5/5.
  23. Thanks for hosting this game K-Nut and Masked Builder! Also congrats to the scum team, they played well. My final thoughts: I was actually thinking the same thing. I didn't win in Western but survived in the conclusion, in this one I lived the longest I had to date as Town. I wasn't very pleased with my performance in this game I have to admit. I was right on my first suspicion though, Tamamono was Town on Day 1. Then it sorta went down hill from there. I was the Town Doctor, my first PR in any game, on Day 1 my town reads were ADHO15 & Tamamono, I decided to pick one of them to tell I was a PR, I went with Tamamono because I figured he knew at least the Psychiatrist and we could coordinate together for the town. If only I had picked ADHO15 instead. The changing point in the game to me and an excellent move by the scum was to convert Tamamono, because he basically knew all/most of the PR, the scum, the town and later the SK. Therefore he was able to keep us distracted from the real scum in the following days. Of course I blindly followed the direction he provided on who to protect, not wanting to interfere with the other PR. I knew someone was probably converted on Night 1, because I knew who I protected and they weren't targeted that Night, so unless there was a Town Blocker, that was the only other option. Unfortunately I had convinced myself that Tamamono was Town. My reasoning was that I would have been dead already if he wasn't and the whole getting 1 or 2 scum to get a good position in the Town, I couldn't believe. All that said, I was extremely close to protecting Dannylonglegs on Night 6, but Tamamono convinced me that ADHO15 would be a better target. The sad part was he had previously told me a few days earlier about the PGO being ADHO15, and honestly I did not realize that was an actual mafia role and didn't look it up, I thought it was a joke or whatever. I think he had also told me about all the other PR, including a Vouyer and Role Cop on Day 2, so when Day 6 came along I had no reason to doubt those roles existed. I was actually in communication with the scum and didn't even know it on the last few days. I still think we could have won, had I opted to protect Dannylonglegs instead, because then me, him and ADHO15 would have lived and I would have known the Vouyer and Role Cop were scum because they both had told me in PM that they were those roles and even confirmed each other. I also would have realized that Tamamono was a scum too. So yes, the breakdown of the town was complicated, mitigated by the fact we only had 3 real PR, the scum got 2 night kills, plus inherited all the other scums actions, if the janitor had not been given to the scum after badboytje88 was lynched, Brickdoctor would have turned up Town and we would have lynched Tamamono. +1.
  24. My top 5 would be: 1. Lion 2. Giraffe 3. Panda 4. Deer 5. Donkey
  25. Well, it looks like we will indeed get at least one thing Pirate(s) related in 2012: Thanks to member llb who shared this image in the Series 8 discussion.
