Hello, very nice scene. Did you know the original builder of this brick-built figure is a member of these forums? [ BrickShelf | deckdesigns.de ] The figure is now almost 6 years old. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! At a first glance you could easily come to the impression that I lost track of my bricks and mission. What does the the lifeguard minifigure have to do with Star Wars? Well, let's see. -------------------- So at first you need two of them. Pretty, arent' they? Then in the next step you need a few spare parts, but not many. And that's it already! I guess you recognize it. Yay! Happy Easter to all of you! -------------------- See you around, yours Christopher.

Hello! A marvelous science fiction scene! As usually you present us an unbelievable richness of details which all merge into a perfect scene. My favourites are the diagonally attached grille bricks for the doors. That's something I haven't seen before and makes an outstanding effect. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! Well, what can I say else? Really very clever modifications! You've build an accurate and authentic represnetation of R2-D2 as seen in the prequels! Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! It's a difficult task to translate well-known characters into this alternate universe. You did your job perfectly! I cannot choose a favourite as they're all so very-well done! You've shown your great creativity and also parts knowledge! Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! These are amazing miniland figures! It's fantastic how you can make a recognizable character with just little adjustments for the face. A few plates placed at the right position of the face makes a perfect face. Congratulations, these are outstanding! Cheers, ~ Christopher

MOC: The Goodbury Turbine
Legostein replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Hello! A very interesting concept. Very streamlined. The huge turbine has a big air gulp for the engine. But where is the exhaust? As the passengers sit at the engine's rear, I would have guessed somewhere on the side. Cheers, ~ Christopher -
Hello! The trigonal stand is very clever, and is the real eyecatcher here for me. I guess it steals the rocket's show. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! It looks very fast and agile. I particularly like the use of the Bionicle teeth as signal lights. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello everybody, It's a great pleasure to me to reveal the 200th MINI model of my ongoing project to you. When I started mini modeling 8 years ago, I had no idea that this would be my main building business one day. But I still like it. So I guess the project will go on. This is a very special model, as probably everyone knows it. The Millennium Falcon is presumably the most popular starship from the entire Star Wars saga, and its history beyond the movies is very exciting as well. But that's a different story. There are many many other MINI representations of this particular starship on the web, The more difficult it was to choose a building style that had not been used before and to create yet another unique miniaturization of the Millennium Falcon. Images first this time, and then a few words on the construction. >>> All images and building instructions available here <<< The construction is small and compact, but nonetheless allowed for a maximum level of reconizable details: Cockpit, deflector shield generators, top and belly laser turret, radar dish. Everything could be added! The inner construction si more complex than it looks from the outside. It features a partial studs inversion for the rear part, but not for the front part, as well as a reduction from 6 to 5 studs (even to uneven studs junction). The studs inversion is realized by using 1x1 plates with thick clip ring, where the rings is exactly the height of one plate. These hold also the escape pods, so it's a piece with double effect. The studs junction uses one of my favourite pieces - the 3x2 plate with hole. One of the instruction images shows the description best: With that I am done for now. I hope to provide many more models for this great community in future! Have a great sunday, yours Christopher.

MINI Armored Assault Tank (AAT), Separatists style
Legostein replied to Legostein's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hello! Yes, exactly, I wanted the turrent not only to turn around, but also the cannon to be able to move up. That's one the great things in this forums. You can even have a great discussion when you disagree. All 200+ models are kept intact and are stored in several dsiplay cabinets, although they currently are a bit overcrowded. Time to buy a new one I guess. Cheers, ~ Christopher -
Hello! An great atsrfighter concept you are showing to us here. The use of the tails is very original and works out perfectly here. I guess it would look even more impressive in real brick. Cheers, ~ Christopher
