  1. Hello! A nice space creation! It's good to see that Futuron is still around here. I would suggest to add a few transparent red elements for a perfect match of the Futuron colour scheme. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello! Again, a great addition for the steampunk universe. I especially like the use of the printed dished which match perfectly with the theme. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello! That's a very imaginative build! A great hybrid between technology and organic materials. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello everybody! Besides mini modeling, I also enjoy building custom minifigures. I consider myself a "non-traditional purist customizer", using only official parts but not limited to traditional minifigure pieces. This sometimes results in bulky/blocky minifugures. So, now it's my pleasure to introduce Roo-Dee! There are infinite alien species in the galaxy, but there are places where many of them gather to have a drink together - Space Bars (that's what inspired me). In such a space bar Roo-Dee works as a bartender. As a member of the species Hextremitus Crista Cearulis (meaning that he has six extremities and a blue crest) Roo-Dee has two pairs of arms and two relatively short legs. He may not be the fastest running person, but he is extremly agile and speedy with his four arms. That makes him a great bartender! >>> Click here to see all images <<< If you want to build your own Roo-Dee minifigure, you can find all pieces needed on BrickLink. The average costs are about 3-5 EUR depending if you buy used or new pieces. Have a great sunday everyone! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello! That's a very crucial scene and I like the concept of your adaption. However, I think that the globe with the spheres is a bit too dominant in the images and unfortunately rather draws away the attention of the real scene. Because I like constructive criticism I was thinking for a less bulky alternative, and came up with the following construct. Feel free to use it if you like. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! They're really amazing, your figures! Although very small you instantly recognise the characters. Bossk really looks cute. A bit too cute for me. He is together with IG-88 the tallest of the group and could be one plate taller. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello! An outstanding movie scene adaption! I like the transparent-gree wall panels best. And the missing floor generates the right impression of depth. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! That's a nice idea. However the ocean looks so wiiiide. What I mean is that it could use some more decoration. I interprete the scene that way that the two pilots crash-landed in the water. Thus it might be nice to have a sinking back of the plane sticking out of the water, as well as some random wreckage on the ocean surface. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! That's indeed a great vignette. I pretty much like the round window of the tower with the inverted arch. The printed Star Wars dish works perfectly as glass element. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Anita! It must be you! Great to see you here!

  11. Hello! Great alternate parts use here. It's always nice to see more unusual colours too. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello! A nice space diorama! I like the glass panel construction using the corner panels. Hopefully the hard working astronaut carrying the large box on the first image will not stumble over the bottom tube he's approaching. It seems he can't see it. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello! That's fantastic! I like the neo-classi space project very much as it combines classic look with new building techniques. Your quad bike is a really great contribution to that. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Thank you! I did not know that there were so many Babylon 5 fans here. I will do my best to provide more models, but it may take some time. Cheers, ~ Chris
  15. Hello! These are all such great creations and I am glad being part of the fun. My entry (see here the original entry thread from Spetember 17th) is called: Submarine slip-up After the big meltdown mankind had accommodated to the new underwater environment, and some creative survivers began to transform the leftovers of earthbound life into things more suitable for underwater life. But even these suffered from malfunction from time to time... Earthbound set 8402: Underseas version of set 8402: Have a great friday! ~ Christopher
  16. Hello! Those shrinked down figures are great, especially the Vader mask constructions turned out pretty well. The printed 1x1 tile ia also one of my favourites to use as it's a very versatile printing. Cheers, Christopher
  17. Thank you! You're right! That's a challenge. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Hello! I am glad you like the ship. If I should continue with the Babylon 5 series, I will most probably complete the Earth Alliance ships first. For example that great Omega Destroyers... Cheers, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello everybody! As already being revealed... ... I am now in a tight spot. Another important ship in the fleet of the Earth Alliance is the Hyperion-class Heavy Cruier (reference link). With over 1,000 meters in length it's a massive capital starship with a layout that reminds me a bit to a classical water-based naval warship with a large support attached to the back holding the engines. This rear support section also has additional horizontal braces which were a bit tricky to realise (click here to see more references). With 181 pieces it's one of the largest mini model in my collection. >>> Click here for free building instructions <<< That's it for now. Thank you for your interest and have a great week! ~ Christopher
  20. Hello! I guess it's difficult to hide something from you. I did not expect BrickShelf to update that quickly this time. I planned to post it somewhere in the middle of this week to not post all new stuff at once, but now that you already revealed it... Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello! The piece is a Clikits flower center. There are many nice transparent pieces from the Clikits theme which are quite useful. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Thank you for your comment! I am glad you like the little submarine. Using the octagonal Aquazone pieces gave it the right submarine look. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello, these are wrenches. They're part of the tool wheel. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Same goes for me. Sorry. I hope you had a good one! Take care, ~ Chris
  25. Congratulations! I hope you ha d a great day! Cheers, ~ Christopher
