Bricks cracking... just from being connected to one another?
ctx1769 replied to Endgame's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That is serious damage, I just wonder if its the quality of that batch of coloured plastic they used for that. -

I've had it or a couple of months and it's a great set, I have been thinking about putting rubber studs on the tracks for extra traction. bad news I've looked at part 14149 and it would cost almost £65 or €80 to stud out the tracks or 2/3 of the cost of the set (never mind)

Opinion on Status of SBrick
ctx1769 replied to knotian's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have just been on the smart brick forums and the amount of trouble people are having with firmware and other issues, I don't think its worth the hassle -
Completed the lego instruction build of the 42030 and my remotes are dead, yes I have triple checked the setting so waiting for new parts from lego. I bypassed the remotes using manual switches from the 8293 and all the functions work, but the drive is so jerky and bad (Forward and reverse) I might have to rebuild it again, don,t think much to steering either. So I,m glad I saw thread and modded plans. Thank you guys and merry xmas

[REVIEW] 42038 - Arctic Truck
ctx1769 replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have the 42038, nice set but I found the tipping of the bed clumsy. It was a pleasure to build and I do like the build with the tumble wheels -
