  1. Producer Rick McCallum Has Quietly Retired From Lucasfilm. So Underworld is dead, I suppose?
  2. You probably will :) For me, the arc was fine, and I'm looking forward for the "droid episode/arc", which probably will be better than the "droid" episodes in season 4. I have to admit that I'd like to see some more clone action. On the other hand, Filoni made clear that TCW will very likely end after season 6, so to me, every episode of this season is part of a long "good bye" tour of tcw. I'm pretty curious about the next episode. Whatever kind of humor they are bringing in, it can't be worse than C-3PO in ATOC (arena) or Jar Jar in the final battle of EP I.
  3. Yes. I think Aurra Sing "let" it there in a previous episode.
  4. I still experience the same problem. Due to the forum index, the last post was made by Fuppylodders Today, 09:14 PM. But in thread, the last post is made by Cloney Posted Today, 02:12 PM.
  5. Of course it's possible. The translation says, "Luke Skywalker in clothing for snow speeder, General Rick, a rebel-infantryman from the planet Hoth and 2 pilots snow speeders." So the question is if the "rebel-infantryman" represents a snowspeeder pilot or not. I'd say no, basically because (1) it's not translated as a "pilot" and (2) a trench without a "normal" Hoth rebel would be comparatively odd. That's why I don't share your view that it represents "the most balanced distribution of 5 minifigs."
  6. Maybe. But I think that to decide what minifigs will/may be inlcuded in the set we should stick to the description of the set, rather than looking at which minifigs were included in 7666. The description mentions 5 minifigs, two them are the same and called "snowspeeder pilots". The term is confusing because in the Star Wars context, the term "snow speeder" has a fixed meaning. But I think that it's more reasonable to conclude from the whole text that it refers to two imperial speeder "pilots" (more precisely, imperial snowtroopers, like in 8083 or 7879) rather than to assume that the set will contain Luke in snowspeeder gear plus two further rebel snowspeeder pilots and no imperial troopers.
  7. If there are not witnesses, the act of taking the sets is not a fact but rather a mere claim. bricknation.com may be able to prove that he bought these sets. He may be able to find persons who can witness that he stored the sets in his office. But the point is that he has no chance to prove that he himself didn't remove them from the office. Consequently, the police asks for a way to prove ownership of these specific sets. No correlation whatsoever could replace this kind of prove; otherwise, it'd be a pretty sloppy police work, jeopardizing the principle that people are safe in their property. You are correct. But the point is that if someone simply can go inside and steal something, you will find it pretty hard even to prove that you were stolen if this should happen. @OP: Good Luck!
  8. Luke will pretty much be the only snowspeeder pilot in this set.
  9. Thanks again. Other sites and http://ru.starwars.wikia.com/wiki/ use the term "Таунтаун" for the tauntaun, which, to me, is pretty close to "таунат" - so close that I take it for granted that we'll get a new set containing a tauntaun Leg printing for Snowtroopers would be odd, indicating that TLG changed there stance on when leg printing is used.
  10. Thanks! My only question is: are you sure about the Tauntaun or is this just a guess?
  11. I don't thinkt so. It's mentioned as "minifig asseccory", not as a building.
  12. Wow, it seems like you took a lot of effort To me, the small scene in the lower right corner is pure genius. The sky, the shadows, and the small (distant) palace are awesome.
  13. If I understand it correctly, there's one imperial speeder, an eweb and 2 imperial "pilots", which sounds pretty much like the same imperial attack force as in 7879. As for the "windsock", keep in mind that this is a google translation from Russian. I have no idea what kind of minifig accessory represents a "windsock".
  14. Thanks guys If "Taounate" should actually mean "Tauntaun", this seems a pretty nice set to me
  15. Interesting find I think here is a set description, but it's in Russian. Anyone who can read and translate it? http://www.exoforce....lanete-hot.html
  16. In this blog, Howard Roffman announces his return to Lucasfilm. At some point, he writes, "I re-launched Star Wars toys after nearly a 10 year hiatus. I brought LEGO into the Star Wars fold. To say that I am passionate about Star Wars would be a gross understatement." I came to wonder why he explicitly mentions Lego and no other toy line. Is LEGO Star Wars that successul? Does anyone know any figures that allow any reasonable guesses?
  17. Hi! Does anyone know whether or not coupons (total amount, not a %-age) usually are applied to shipping costs?
  18. The pilot looks way better on this picture since the visor doesn't look as awkward as on the previous picture. The visor of the trooper looks better as well. Concluding from the picture (magnification possible), Rex looks fine. edit:
  19. To me, it actually was the weakest episode in the arc so far, and the worst episode in season 5. The younglings contacted Obi Wan and were told to wait for a rescue team. However, Kenobi's fleet was suddenly attacked by General Grievous and the team couldn't leave. On their own, the younglings landed on Florum. There, they ran into a circus that was on its way to Hondo's base, persuaded the owner of the circus to recruid them as "artists", stole Ahsoka's lightsabres from Hondo, freed Ahsoka, and escaped. Usually, I'm looking at TCW very mildly. In this case, I don't. There are several issues that I find irritating, namely that Kenobi's fleet is attacked out of the sudden by Grievous; that Kenobi informs Grievous about the activation of the auto destruct mechanism of the cruiser; that the younglings ran into a circus that is on the way to Hondo's base; that it was pretty easy for the younglings to free Ahsoka; and that, for my taste, the artistic performace was way too "earthly". And there are more. To me, there were too many random elements that were lovelessly stitched together. The story was much less coherent than in the two previous episodes. I didn't like it.
  20. I think it's a new mold (reasons see above).
  21. I like how they further accentuated the "cheeks" (compared to the TCW phase I helmet), and I wonder why they didn't do that for the new phase II helmets. The new torso printing seems better as well; at least, the 3d-effects work better (e.g. due to the shadow at the bottom of the breat plate).
  22. Found at hothbricks.com: I like the new phase I clone. I don't like the specific colour on this clone, but the overall design looks great. Plus, the visor seems to have a different colour. Personally, I don't like the new pilot. Reference pic:
  23. You either buy it, or you don't. There is no such thing as "indeciveness"
  24. More detailed views (zooming possible) of the 501st Trooper can be found here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-Lego-Star-Wars-SITH-TROOPER-White-Blue-from-set-75002-Unrealesed-/290814200906?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item43b5e08c4a
  25. If you don't plan to buy both of them anyway, I'd buy 7965. 8097 seems to be discontinued anyway, and its price is comparatively high. Not to mention that you can get a nicer Boba via the new skiff.
