To me, it's basically an issue with the mold, rather with the printing. The visor is located slightly below the line seperating the helmet from the mask, which is accurate. The "nose"-/"mouth"-printing is located exactly above the angle, which is accurate as well. Nevertheless, the visor is located much higher than in previous versions, so it doesn't match with the eyes of the head. That's what I mean with the rationale behind the printing. The problem seems to be that the whole face is a bit too long, which reminds me a bit of Gonzo (The Muppets). More precisely, the part below the angle seems too long. Edit: Not sure about that, though, but I need to go to bed now.

I could live with the lack of accessory holes, if they had gotten the face right. I can see rationale behind it, however, that doesn't make me liking the design more than I currently do, which is not enough to buy multiple of these clones.

For me, Hamill's performance always worked in that scene. I don't think that the scene would have worked better if Luke had displayed, let's say, a higher degree of emotion. (I'm not sure if it's correct to say that "he didn't even bury them". If I remember, he arrived at the hut, and in the next scene he arrived at Obi Wan again, so we don't know what happened in between. My memory may be inaccurate, though.) I particularly disagree here. For me, a first image of Anakin emerged from the very general statements about him Obi Wan made on Tattooine in ANH. For me, the whole PT didn't really show that Obi Wan and Anakin were friends. There were several statements about that issue, especially in ROTS, but they never seemed like friends to me. Basically, Anakin was either a child (TPM) or already biased by his feelings (AOTC and ROTS), but there never was a phase during which he seemed to be truely "good". I wouldn't call it better. It's simpler and much more to the point. The PT works on different levels, though. E. g. TPM shows how Palpatine becomes the Chancellor of the Republic, in AOTC, he gets himself an army, and in ROTS, he uses this army to destroy the Jedi Order. The PT lacks meaningful battles, though: In ANH, the rebels attacked the Death Star and destroyed it; Yavin was saved. In TESB, the Empire attacked the rebels, but the rebels escaped. In ROTJ, the rebels attacked and destroyed the base on Endor, destroyed the second Death Star, and that's it. There is only one single battle in the PT that is more or less equally meaningful, and that's the battle on Naboo. In starts, it ends, it has a result. To me, the battle of Geonosis in AOTC basically is just mere action ("salted" with hillarious slapsticks). I never understood what objectives there were, nor when they were achieved (on the contrary, the objectives are very clear in the OT). Rather, it is a mere context for the chase of Dooku and Dooku's escape. In ROTS, there is such action as well, but again, it is mere context for Order 66.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

@reviewers: At http://eurobricksstarwarsforum.com/clone-wars-reviews/, there are only the reviews of a couple of season 4 episodes. It would be nice if I could see links to every review there. -
I'd say that it is a hoax. I do not believe that such a crucial information would leak that early. If it should turn out that they really are resurrecting Vader...well, I wouldn't know what to say.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

Well, when one of the kids said, "But it's a droid!" I immediately had to think of your initial comment about him Very Oky-ish, this youngling is. -
I think it's more obvious now that we've seen the video. Anyway, as it seems, the 501st Trooper is in no way misprinted, but rather represents, so to say, the shape of things to come.

Just in case anyone is interested (Darth Maul on Nal Hutta, the video starts at ca. 0:22. Not sure if this is the "exclusive Darth Maul video"): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9p3iG2Mj8Ww -
That's possible, and I would like that very much. The unreleased figures from other themes the guy offers, though, e.g. from TMNT, don't look like misprints.

I definetly would like to see with a set with the neat Wookie youngling from the recent TCW arc, plus two of the other non-human younglings (e. g. a set with a model of the starship, a few playfeatures, the droid, Hondo, and a pirate.)

I enjoyed the episode a lot; maby it's one of my favorite episodes from the whole series so far. -
Great work. I like how the frozen surface is arranged, the way how the figures are arranged on the surface (looking very vivid to me, rather than looking static), the colour contrast of the dark-grey base and the surface (actually, the colour scheme of the whole scene is very attractive to me, but I would find it hard to explain why this is the case), and the builds, namely the generator and the speeder bike. The slightly left-looking Gonk Droids makes this scene looking so neat that I wonder if snowballs wouldn't be the more appropriate weaponry.

Exclusive Darth Maul Season 5 Sneak Peak (U.S. and registered members only): http://www.starwars.com/watch/maul.html If someone should have an openly available source I'd like to watch it. Thanks. -
Interesting, I hope you're right - and for better pictures.

Two new shots of Ahsoka, including her back: http://www.ebay.de/itm/LEGO-STAR-WARS-MINIFIGURE-OLD-REPUBLIC-ASHOKA-TANO-75013-UNRELEASED-FIGURE-/200845140947?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item2ec34da3d3 Anyone who agrees that the head printing looks somehow misprinted?

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

My understanding of Filoni's phrase is that Ahsoka's fate or story is the last story to be told. But I see that his phrase is not so conclusive and open for interpretation. -
Rex clearly has a custom helmet. It may turn out better, and you are right that I'll have to wait for any final judgement. Fives may have custom printing, but I think the overall design, including the location of visor and "mouth"-/"nose"-part, is pretty much phase II standard, so I think it's ok to take him as a reference.
-
I agree on that. I think it's safe to say that the guy who bought the Trooper received it with a clone head. But that doesn't mean that the figure will have a clone head when it is in the stores. As far as I can see, there are two reasonable explanations: 1) as 'MstrOfPppts' said, it is a prototype from the factory or 2) the seller has cheated and sold the figures with the wrong heads (I have to admit that I find 1) way more likely). As for the figures, I like them. To me, the phase II helmet seems less well-made than the TCW phase I helmet or the new Stormtrooper helmet, but it seems ok. I will wait for more and better pictures or the figure itself until I finalize my opinion. Lego missed a small detail since they didn't adapt the belt to phase II, though. Ahsoka looks very angry. I have no idea whether this impression is intended or due to a misprint. I hope she has a dual-sided head with two different facial expressions, though. Good observation; I think the "mouth"- or "nose"-part is located too high, and the visor, too; I think that's why I don't find the figure fully convincing. The ARC-Trooper (9488) actually got that part better, plus it got the vertical line seperating the "face" part of the helmet from the "helmet" part (in the show, it is, of course, a luminance edge, but Lego accentuated this edge by giving that part of the ARC-Trooper helmet a different colour): If this turns out to be the final version of the figure, I will miss it and probably all TCW phase II clones including Rex who probably suffers from the same weakness, hoping that Lego will make a better non-TCW phase II clone. That's a pitty, I was really looking forward for these guys.

Well, if I remember correctly, Osama bin Laden had ties to the mujahideen resistance during the war. -

I think I posted that already, but maybe my post got lost during the change of servers: I think that you're basically right. Due to Filoni, the irony of the arc is that Anakin has helped to create or fuel the nucleas of the rebellion that he had to fight after the rise of the empire as Darth Vader. -
Now that we are going to get a modular palace (= palace with attachable pit), I hope that this concept will extend to other locations (e. g. Endor, especially Hoth) as well, to the extent that sets covering the same locations will fit together in a better way than they currently do.

Dortmund won the national Championship in 2010/11 and 2011/12. I think their international performance in the last CL season was pretty bad, and I didn't expect them to perform that good in this season, especially not since Kagawa left the team. I'm very curious if they make it to the finals.

Dave Filoni on Disney and the future of Star Wars: http://starwarsblog....ill-be-forever/ In the last sentence, he gives a hint about Ahsoka's fate: "For those of you who are fans of The Clone Wars, do not worry. We have many stories left to tell, and every one of them came directly from George himself. Right down to the last one, where that thing with Ahsoka happens…" We still don't know what "that thing" is, but at least, we know when it will happen. -

I'd say it is unlikely. First, as Sir_Basi_Ashton pointed out, this arc (due to a comment of Dave Filoni) aims at families. I do not believe that this arc will end with Grievous slaughtering younglings. Second, it would deprive a major scene in RotS, Anakin Skywalker killing younglings, of its uniqueness. That doesn't mean that they will all survive, though.
