  1. Thanks for the clip. I really like it. In retrospective and compared to the original TCW film, the show made a huge improvement on all levels. I'm looking forward for future arcs of the show.
  2. Your models are amazing I'm tending to like the Jedi starfighter a bit more, but once I look at the Ginivex, I'm not so sure anymore. The Delta looks more detailed than the Ginivex, which looks more simple and straightforward.
  3. I felt exactly the same some time ago I'm just in the final phase of finishing college. I'd play RoTMG if I felt I had the time, but currently, I don't have. Personally, I don't like it, but I think it was predictable.
  4. I don't know why :) To me, the new scout isn't a huge improvement: still, the "mouth" and "ear" parts of the helmet are not printed. The unprinted helmet looks much more awkward on the new scout than on the old scout. Personally, I would have preferred black hips and black printing on white legs (or at least, that's what I think). The old scout looks very simple and to the point; it only needs a bit more black. The new scout, however, looks way too overprinted and complicated.
  5. I don't like the model, and I wouldn't spend that much money on the set. I'm very, very sure that Lego will release an AT-AT rather sooner than later.
  6. Your link doesn't work, but I know the article anyway. It hasn't influenced my opinion. It was rather apologetic than analytic. Goldman himself corrected his view in a subsequent article, saying that his views were based on certain assumptions regarding - if I remember correctly - the quantity of the published material, and that these assumptions may not be met. Afaik, it's not even sure that the "bonus content" will be published at all.
  7. I agree that there could have been worse endings. What bothers me is that we'll never learn about the (planned) fates of Rex, Ventress, and Maul (not mention that I supposed there to be a reason for the fact that Cody in his capacity of a character was marginalized in the recent seasons). We'll never learn what Talzin planned, and I think there are a couple of more things that were planned and never will be realized. So yes, we knew the show was finite, and yes, we knew it had to end. But that cannot change the fact that I'd prefer a situation in which the show was not canceled. As for Episode 7 and the related stuff, I'm not excited about it, nor about any animated series leading to or being associated with Episode 7. Disney's recent decisions have shaped my perceived ability of Disney to come up with something I'll really like, and it'll take a lot to change this perception/attribution. I'm not looking forward to seeing the "original" actors as well, reminds to much of Star Trek VII.
  8. Droprate for pots in glands is fixed.
  9. Well, you look a bit small for a stormtrooper Seriously, the whole thing looks pretty awesome, including the blaster How did you make it? And in the shopping mall, did you ever think of asking people if they have droids in their baskets?
  10. Cool...I still got only two white bags so far, one with a treasure-part and the other with a (pretty worthless) ammy of zombification. Lucky find
  11. I disagree. I'm not sure if the absence of moderation increased uncertainty, but it clearly didn't decrease uncertainty by serving as a cue to interprete the whole situation as a joke.
  12. I'm sure that I don't want to see that, and surely not at the expense of TCW. To me, it somehow feels like a huge step back. To invent a threat after the deaths of Vader and Palpatine feels pretty artificial to me.
  13. Speaking from how I experienced the announcement, it wasn't the name change that caught my attention. Rather, it was the plans that were stated, namely to rework "the site graphics to better match American visual sensibilities", and "to shift the focus of our discussions to a more American point of view". It gave me an immediate feeling or impression of being excluded from this community, simply because I couldn't understand or share what the sensibilities or more American point of views were. Again, that was my initial impression. Then I realized that it was April 1st, and I gave it a second thought, resulting in my post. The point is that at this point, I was in doubt about what to believe. Although it appeared rational to assume that the announcement was a joke, there was no criteria to decide this question. Doubt could only be removed by the explicit statement made today. I wouldn't speak of anyone's fault, but I think the mods were surprised by certain reactions, just as I was surprised about my own initial reaction, so I agree with Shadow when he says that it, "almost turned out to be more of a psychological experiment than an April Fool's joke". It definetly was the most interesting April Fool's joke I have experienced so far
  14. Pots still drop from glands, but only occasionally. Eggs drop way more often.
  15. My thoughts on this: First, I was a bit annoyed, then I supposed it to be an April's fool, then I wasn't so sure of it, and right, now, I still don't know what to believe. Anyway: I like your motto: "Site of the free, brick of the brave". I have no idea what "brick of the brave" means, but it sounds great As for "The Plan": - I wouldn't have a problem with rebranding the site to AmeriBricks per se. - What I found quite irritating is the announcement that the "site graphics were reworked to better match American visual sensibilities." I found that irritating since I didn't understand why Americans should have different visual sensibilities than Europeans or people from other nations, nor what these visual sensibilities were, nor how they could be better matched. After giving it a thought, I came to the conclusion that, for me, it falls into the same category as "brick of the brave". - I was equally, maybe even more, irritated about the plan to "shift the focus of our discussions to a more American point of view". Usually, the focus of our discussions is about Lego, and I couldn't realize how this focus could be shifted to a "more American point of view". After giving it a thought, I came to the conclusion that, for me, it falls into the same category as "brick of the brave". - So I came to believe that this is an April's fool. On the other hand, some time ago, I came to believe that you guys are pretty weird , so then again, maybe it's not.
  16. Well, may not worth the bump, but Hasenklein has entered the top 100 of Necromancers: http://www.realmeye.com/top-necromancers
  17. Not sure if anyone is into pets, but here I my experiences with pets: - Common and Uncommon Pets drop in godlands. Uncommon pets are way more, well, uncommon than common pets. - Each pet can have up to three abilities. Common Pets can upgrade the first ability in the list, Uncommon pets can upgrade the first two abilities in the list and so on. - If you want Heal and Magic heal, they should be the first two abilities mentioned. - The free Valentine Pack that is still available for 0 Gold comes with 5 Valentine Eggs, each one having 250 feeding power which is quite good. Each of your mules should get it.
  18. Because it's brown: Nevertheless, I don't like the printing and the fact the figure comes with a tan hood rather with a hood of the same color as the jacket.
  19. Thanks for the picture. I don't like this figure.
  20. Good point. Posted it in the forum.
  21. Did anyone have the opportunity to test the new pets? Just in case anyone doesn't know: https://forums.wildshadow.com/node/195001
  22. I fear you're right, but as Brickdoctor wrote above, it's not sure how determined Disney is to enforce the decision to cancel the show or, more precisely, how to finish it. It seems likely that some or even all material of the planned season 6 will be somehow published. The question is, how many of the stories written for season 7 and 8 will make it into production. And I think that with regard to this question, Star Wars fans actually have some leverage. Since to me, TCW is mainly about the characters, their relations, and the question how Palpatine managed it to overthrow the republic and to defeat the Jedi Order, I don't think that the stories can be altered to fit into a replacement show since they are too specific.
  23. Not sure if anyone knew about it, but when you create a new account with a new character, this character has so to say one "free death". Basically, he doen't die, is warned by the game that death is permanent and reappears in Nexus.
  24. Your're right. But the point is that even if most TV shows consist of less than 8 (or 5 or whatever number) seasons, this fact hardly serves as an argument to cancel TCW. Rather, it serves as an argument that the show should have been designed in a way as to be concluded after season 5. And the assumed fact that TV shows in general tend to get worse after, say, season 5 cannot change the fact that I'd like to see how TCW was intended to conclude. (Eric Goldman came forward with your line of argumentation on IGN as well. I didn't find it convincing either. Actually, I found it apologetic, as if he had sided with Disney, or simply lost his brain.) Plus, I think it's save to say that it would not have been canceled if the Disney-deal had not taken place. So the cancelation of TCW is not caused by the quality of the show itself but rather by other reasons. Thanks for your correction about my spelling. Apparently, I learned it wrongly once and never was corrected. I appreciate any kind of correction regarding wording, grammar, spelling etc.,
  25. Point 1: In the beginning, it was aimed to produced roughly 100 episodes. But I think due to the success of the series, the ends have changed. So I think that aiming at 8 season is realistic. Taylor and Taber are reliable sources, so the question is not if they planned to make 8 seasons, but rather when this vision was finalized. For what the fans of TCW will miss though, this question is not relevant: it will most likely be season 7 and 8, which, unfortunately, would have probably been the most interesting and intense seasons of the whole series. Point 2: The marketing cannot equate Star Wars in people's minds once again with Luke, Leia and Han. I think there are a lot of people, especially younger people, whose first encounter with the SW universe was made through TCW. I think for these people, they will have to find connections between TCW and the new triology.
