That set is one of my favorites too, sadly its one of the only recent tractors (If you don't know I love tractors) There was also a mini forklift around that time that I loved. (instructions here http://lego.brickinstructions.com/lego_instructions/set/8290/Mini_Forklift) Both of these are mostly nostalgia though...

I am redesigning my Case Steiger that I had build a while ago. (link: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117699&hl=%2Bcase+%2Bsteiger) but I want to make the middle area more compact. The reason for this is for more functions, the battery box can no longer go in the front, and needs to be in the middle, but takes up to much space so the model can't steer. I need the turning to connect to a turntable (for articulation in the back) as well as the drive shaft going through the middle of the turntable. Is there any way to use mini LA's? Or is there some other way. I am using the normal Lego wheel hubs also, which take up some space. Anyone got ideas? Again, is there a way to use mini LA's? (I haven't found a way that works yet.) Ideas?

I actually have built one similar right here: http://www.eurobrick...opic=117699&hl= It doesn't look great, but I have redesigned it with a smaller nose, more functions, and a better look. I will probably be taking pictures soon, but if you want I could take (bad) pictures from my Ipod right now. Once I get the parts I ordered I will create the tracks for the Case. I took apart the whole Case (the one with the link above) and heavily improved it! Tell me if you would like pictures! Edit: I have the Case on Lego ideas, so you could try to make it a set, by sharing it around. I will not be making instructions, but will show you pictures if you need (as in taking the shell off)

42055 - Bucket Wheel Excavator
Buddy010702 replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I'm buying it for the parts... It's huge! That would really help my models with the pieces (not to mention an XL motor!) -

I'm thinking he will use MK on unlicensed sets, but fit his name into models somehow, licensed or not, just like the license plate on the Mercedes. Any supporting evidence? -

Anyone know why it says MK II? Was there a previous BWE made by Lego, because from what I know the MK II on the mobile crane was for the fact that it was the second time Lego created one. Thanks! -
I really hope this prediction is correct, not that the PF system is bad, but I want the old RC motors back :/ They are expensive now... I really hope there are new motors, or something.

I personally would like to see the return of the highly coveted RC system back. Lego should know that we love these, and want these motors and remotes because of their capability. I've already emailed Lego to see if they would bring it back, and the person replied with "I also forwarded you request to bring back the old RC set. We thank you for letting us know your product preferences so we can better serve you. We really do take in the information from our LEGO fans and use it!" I doubt that they will come back, but it would be cool if they did. In regards to the " We really do take in the information from our LEGO fans and use it!" if there was a way to get Lego to know the mass of people who want these, it might get them to bring it back. That's what I would like for 2017!

Is it right to refuse to sell a MOC?
Buddy010702 replied to Sariel's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Don't feel guilty for showing your MOC's, They inspire me, the only reason I remember building with technic again was because of your video's. Otherwise I might have died out of Lego! -

Buddy010702 replied to Sariel's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Don't sell them. There is so much demand for them, that you can't give one to everybody. Plus, you take yours apart for new models, tell them if they bought it they wouldn't be able to see new custom creations so often! You are doing the best you can right now my taking photo's of each model and showing in detail the main frame and chassis. Don't give in, especially if they swear, that means that they are mean! -
Weird Motor block

Apparently it is a prototype of the original mindstorms. Weird huh. -

Weird Motor block
Buddy010702 replied to Buddy010702's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks, do you know if it is programmable? -
Does anyone have an idea of what this motor block is? I own this block and have been unable to find out what it does. Anyone know what it does? I want to try to use it, if it is useful. Any ideas? A picture of it I found is below in the bottom left corner. It is the clear blue and grey one. Is it a mindstorms brick? Can I program it? Do I just need to find the cord? P.S. I found this at my cottage (my older cousin owned this) so I am not exactly clear on what this does. Thanks for the answers.

[MOC] Case Steiger
Buddy010702 replied to Buddy010702's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks! I don't believe that there is room for a 3 point linkage, just getting the M motor for the PTO was a stretch. I have also started to build tracks for this, to make it a Quadtrac, but I don't have the right amount of parts left. Thanks for the suggestions!- 10 replies

[MOC] Case Steiger
Buddy010702 replied to Buddy010702's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have tried using blueprints before, I just find them really boring to use, all the math and stuff. I usually build lego to relax. I also mostly focused on function with this model and that is why the back and front look bad. In the front is a in-line 6 engine, and in the back is the XL motor for drive, and the M motor for the PTO. If I could rebuild this I would fix those, but I don't want to rebuild the whole thing to fix that.- 10 replies

This is a MOC I have made based off of the steiger line of tractors. I have decided to put this project on Lego Ideas, and was hoping many you could support it. I am striving for this to become a Lego set. I do understand that there is less of a chance for this to become a Lego set because it is Technic. I would appreciate no negative comments about this Technic creation being on Lego ideas. Only constructive criticism please. If you could share this around, or just support it. Every supporter counts! Here are a few pictures of the model: Link: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/114366 This MOC functions include: Lights All wheel drive Articulated steering Working steering wheel Openable hood to reveal a in-line 6 engine Working PTO A VIdeo of the Tractor: Thanks for the comments and support!
