  1. Having you guys bring up Guy Gardner makes me realize how much I'd love a whole JLI series - Guy, Ted Kord Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Fire, Ice, Elongated Man, Crimson Fox, Dr. Light (Kimiyo), Rocket Red, a pre bad guy Maxwell Lord, Mister Miracle, Big Barda, Oberon, Power Girl ... sigh, good times ...
  2. As a DC fan, I applaud this game. Jay Garrick, Black Canary (a less cartoony one, hopefully, than the Lego Batman movie version), Red Tornado, Atom, Black Adam, Simon Baz, Brainiac, Bizarro, Mad Hatter and Thunderbolt were my picks, but I would take any and all of the above. I however will say this: if the LONG overdue Zatanna minifigure doesn't make it into this series I will wreak unholy vengeance. I'd also really, really like Vixen. That is all. :D
  3. I agree with Toalruini, one of the highlights of these reviews is how you pair up the minifigures with ones from old series, sometimes with what's expected, and sometimes some unexpected pairings that just make you laugh. Like the Firefighter with the Dragon Suit Guy - not expected and hilarious! Thank you!
  4. I would be lying if I said that *some* of Robert8's designs didn't come to mind when working on this project ... :)
  5. Quite excellent! Thanks for sharing!
  6. I saw a couple of loose gloves the other day in my store in Rochester, NY, too.
  7. As always, beautiful work. I really can't tell you how much i ADORE the Matching Costume Dad with Baby Kong. It's pure perfection, and I need this to happen as a real minifigure! LEGO, for the love of all that's good and right in the world, PLEASE take note! And that Dark Fairy and Automaton? LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! I would get a ton of Snorkelers just for that cute sea turtle, and the Ventriloquist Dummy is wonderfully creepy ... the rest are great too and would be most welcome in my collection. EXCELLENT JOB!!!
  8. Just saw this post, putting together my lists now ...
  9. Judging from some of the reactions, maybe they should dub it the "I Don't Care" Bear ... :D
  10. Well, they are most certainly intriguing minifigures. I can't say that there are many I was personally clamoring for, but with all the accessories and animal molds, I see a lot that I like. And if they can put in a whole bike as an "accessory" I see absolutely no reason that they couldn't do a centaur now ... My fingers are crossed for Series 20 ...
  11. Just a thought about City compatibility, you could always build the pirate ship and call it a play structure at a playground for your city's tots...
  12. Well done, as always, Robert8 - Love the Venusian, the Marionettist, the Wraith, the Muse, Camp Boy and the Turkey Suit Guy the most, but would definitely need the Pilgrim Woman for that awesome turkey. All of them would be most welcome on my shelf! Another great series! I don't know how you keep doing it, but, well, keep doing it! I love these!
  13. Stellar series, Robert, simply stellar! I especially love the Adventurer, the Robot Kid, the Writer, the Clown Girl, the Circus Acrobat, and OMG THAT VALKYRIE!!! Those are how Lego wings SHOULD be designed! Amazing work, as always.
  14. I love that Pirate King design, Nerd ... that beard would be EPIC!!! And Robert ... Good GOD, man, that Edgar Allen Poe ... swoon! So incredible!
  15. Robert, what can I say that I haven't already said many times before? Amazing work, I would proudly own every single one of these, and the next time I wish on a star, I'll wish that Lego pays you for ALL of your designs and turns them into actual minifigures. Obligatory faves list - Saree Girl - BEAUTIFUL!; Mountie - the Beaver cinches it!; Jungle Girl; Zombie Woman; and Flying Guy ... I presume inspired by Icarus? Love me some mythological Minifigs ... Anyway, awesome job, as usual. Thanks so much for sharing!
  16. Another really great series, Robert! Lady Justice, Slime Monster, Spooky Doll, Executioner and Little Boy Blue are all favorites, but the rest are amazing as well! Thanks for sharing!
  17. Love it! Awesome job!
  18. Lady Bandit or Riverboat Gambler, perhaps? Frontiersman with the coonskin cap ...
  19. 20. Yay! Robert8's designs return! Woot! Very excited! Also Dorayaki, I like a lot of your designs, as well. Very inspired!
  21. Maybe the CMF series will do a Farmer's Wife and include a goat someday, to go along with the Farmer and his pig ... :)
  22. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I just saw over on Instagram that a Penguin Girl may be coming in one of those "little house" sets that Lego's been using as purchase incentives. She's in a wintery log cabin, and her torso print includes a scarf. Found her by typing in Lego Leaks. Sorry if this is old news, just thought she was neat addition to the CMFs ...
  23. My Lego Store in Rochester, NY had Princess Leia Hair from the Ewok Village set ... was a very nice surprise to find!
