Well, if I had my druthers, I would love a Greek Mythology Series! We already had some great variations with a Gorgon, a Minotaur, Cyclops and the Ocean King standing in for Poseidon, as well as the Spartan warrior, etc. But here are would be my picks: 1) Lord of the Sky: Zeus of Course, with lightning bolt 2) Queen of the Gods: Hera with Peacock 3) Moon Goddess: Artemis with silver bow and quiver 4) God of War: Ares with Sword, Spear and shield 5) Goddess of the Hearth: Hestia with torch 6) Messenger God: Hermes with Jay Garrick's hat and his traditional staff 7) God of Music: Apollo with lyre 8) Lord of the Dead: Hades with skull 9) Goddess of the Dead: Persephone with pomegranate and sad/happy face 10) Goddess of the Grains: Demeter with sickle and sheath of grain or some other fruits 11) Harpy with bone 12) God of the Wild: Pan with, naturally, a pan flute 13) Centaur with bow 14) Dryad 15) God of the Forge: Hephaestus with sword, hammer 16) Greek Hero: Heracles/Hercules style minifigure with club, Lion helmet, and lion skin cape Of course, I am missing some rather obvious other characters like Aphrodite, Athena and Dionysus, as well as heroes such as Perseus, Odysseus, Orpheous, Atalanta, and such, but hey, that's what series 2 is for! :D

Awesome series! Very nice usage of parts. I love seeing how people take parts and use them in a new context - the results are often inspirational. Well done!

I got my full set after the Series finally turned up at my local Walmart. Now on to my second full set, and additional parts figs. It really is the simple joys in life ... :)

Though there are many female Leaguers I'd like to see before she was even considered; we don't even have official LEGO designs for Fire and Ice, for crying out loud!" Oh, I completely agree. I was just responding to the post about Samurai being the last Superfriend to be made. Believe me, there are many, many other characters I'd love to see before Rima, Fire and Ice definitely included in that list.

I missed round two, shucks. Some interesting choices ...

For me, it's gotta be a completion of the "classic" Justice League with Zatanna, Elongated Man, Red Tornado and classic Hawkgirl (with a hair/helmet combo) figures. I'd also take Vixen, Gypsy, Vibe and Hank Heywood Steel, and then Fire, Ice, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Guy Gardner, Power Girl and Big Barda. Alan Scott, Wildcat, Dr. Fate, Starman, Hourman, Sandman. A Despero big fig, the Royal Flush Gang and Queen Bee. Dr. Psycho, Giganta, Silver Swan. Teen Titans like Aqualad/Tempest, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl and Speedy would be terrific, and a proper, non TTG Raven. Saturn Girl to go with Cosmic Boy and Lightning Lad. Mary Marvel. A comic accurate Mera. I like the idea about Star Sapphire, too. There is a wealth of characters they could do. But for the love of god, ZATANNA!!! Not quite - there's a little remembered female character named Rima who appeared in a couple of the "Superfriends" shorts. She was, I think, a Brazilian jungle girl-type. No, I do NOT expect to ever see her in Lego form ... but I"m not going to lie, I'd love to.

I could live with that ... :) If Series 20 is to be the last regular series, *I* would complain. Quite bitterly, to be honest, and incessantly :D

I found two, and only two, in my local Wal-mart today. Got the Knight and the Drone Kid. The Knight has a good head print, much better than I realized, so I'm pleased about that. Despite looking everywhere in the aisle, and in nearby other aisles, I could find no additional bags. Sigh! Let the hunt commence!

Well said, Itaria. I will try to look on that bright side, as well, and strive to have hope for future releases. For surely, there is a non-Harry Potter, Lego centaur in our future (one of my most wanted as well!), and if not, well, torsos and heads are easily switched out.

Not to be nitpicky, but you said a Marvel CMF set would be good to get figures that we wouldn't ordinarily get, and then proceeded with a list of characters that have almost all had minifigures made of them. Maybe not in the costumes you mentioned, but still represented in minifigure form ... A few substitutions with some different character choices, maybe some Fantastic Four or Namor or different X-men would be in order. But this is a thread to discuss Robert8's designs, and therefore this discussion really ought to be continued in a different thread.

I will agree that 20 is not a very good series, it really feels like the designers phoned it in this time. Which is a shame when you consider that members of our community **cough**Robert8**cough** (to name just one) can run circles around them with their own unique takes. That being said, there is enough to like about this series that I will likely collect them all, but probably not so many multiples this time around. My biggest fear is that this will continue to be the state of the "regular" series going forward, overall lackluster with only two or three standouts.

Looking forward to getting the dog recolor, and also the big top hat! The rest are icing on the cake!

Oh, man, one of my all time favorites right there. The cuteness is set to 11 on that one, and I want it SOOOO bad!

Dang, I was hoping for a manta ray! But, the stingray is quite nice.

I'm just blown away by this series, so much to love! If I could get the Sea Nymph, Vampire Boy, Mothman, Oni, Fashion Designer, Halfling and Violinist in my hot little hands now, I'd be a happy collector. And that Zulu Warrior and Bell Ringer are so awesome as well. I would get every single figure there, not a dud in sight. You never cease to amaze ... Thank you for sharing! AND I almost forgot, that Shar Pei!!!! My favorite dog. I feel like Gollum. I wants it! I needs it! MY PRECIOUS!
