  1. 8043: 116 euro : sealed 8285: 78 euro: sealed 8263 + 8297 + Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0: 250 euro: used but in very good condition. NXT was still sealed.
  2. @rm8: you can get those here. It's 0.67 dollar per piece.
  3. LEGO has been uploading some new videos of the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3. I have made a little playlist for you. So sit back and enjoy the show!
  4. I think he started on het Wall-EV3 before you even had your EV3 (as I've been following this topic). Can't wait to see more MOCs with the EV3!
  5. Cool! Didn't know that google would suggest my website, as there are plenty of others that have better info than mine -- mainly because I'm also busy with school etc.. The Wall-E on my website is a remake (and more reliable) version of zWall-E made by my friend Marc-Adré Bazergui. I would love to see your Wall-EV3!! I can show you this interpretation of a Wall-EV3 also made by Marc-André.
  6. I can't approve it, but I'm sure that it will be approved within 24hours, it's a very active community with all the MCP's (including me). So you can basically ask everything (hardware, software,..) and a lot of experts will jump onto your questions :) The index is a very good idea too. BTW: you can read some basics thought on my website too: LINK (this page is still under construction ;) )
  7. You're welcome, didn't think of posting it earlier since I was already a member since January 7th.
  8. If you want to stay tuned with the latest EV3 hacks and updates, you might considering this Facbook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/legomindstorms/?fref=ts For example: follow John Hansen in the development of the BricxCC software, see what other builders make & much more!
  9. This is my current setup. I have some storage boxes behind me, but the building happens at this table :) P.S. the little guy on his bike on top of the boxes is the 31st alternate made by Grohl: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=489357
  10. But that makes your tracks even more expensive and rare
  11. That's a lot! But the tracks look very coool non the less!
  12. How many 'Black Technic, Axle Connector Double Flexible (Rubber)' have you used on one of those tracks?
  13. The quality of those instructions is amazing! Very good mod, Jurgen!
  14. The retail kit will be out on September 1st and the price is estimated around 399 euro. The retail set has a decent amount of parts and pretty awesome sensors. You can read more about it here : http://brickobot.wordpress.com/ev3/review/ The software will be distributed for free via the LEGO website. As for the education set, it is cheaper and also has some nice sensors, such as the gyro and ultrasonic sensor and a rechargeable battery pack (not the charger itself! you can buy this from shop@home for 24.99 euro). The price here in Belgium is 369 euro for the basic kit. However, the software to program it has to be bought separately and will add an additional cost of 99 euro, so that make 468 (+25 for charger -- same as the one for the white NXT battery pack or PF lipo)) in total! My opinion? It really depends on your needs and budget which one you buy. If you can do what you want with the sensors from the retail kit I should recommend you to buy this one first and wait a bit with the edu kit, it might be that extra plugins for the free software will be created for the gyro and ultrasonic so you don't have to spend 99 euro on the software. 15. Maybe you should make your train a few studs wider so the NXT are covered by the black panels too. I suppose the axles are supported to through the inside of the train?
  16. Yes indeed! But all the parts survived, so it was fun afterwards to have that on video. :) About your voith schneider, I will post a link on our forum to ask if anyone want to try that. Maybe if I have the correct parts, I will try to rebuild those for my own vessel (I don't have the normal screws, so I need to find every year another solution to make my boat go back and forward )
  17. It worked pretty good, but it wasn't that fast. The competition was mainly about 'who has the fastest boat', but I think we can say the we all liked the voith schneider the most, due to his complexity. In the 2012 series I rebuild your boat in yellow, but this one sank during the competition. I think this came because I used a normal PF battery box, so the weight was more on the front side. The red one with the 6 paddles is also my boat. We are now planning a 2013 boatrace and this will probably take place on July, 6th. Expect a movie from that race within a week after the race :) BTW: I like your voith schneider a lot!
  18. Yes Efferman, it are voith schneider propellers. I went did a search on our LUG forum for a picture of it and this is what I found so far: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/T-H-O-M-A-S/boat/
  19. Here is a video of our race in 2011.
  20. Mine is : www.brickobot.wordpress.com (focussed on NXT/EV3) Still a work in progress and we'll maybe switch to our own domain in the future :)
  21. You can probably add this to your 8258 : http://jaaptechnic.blogspot.nl/2012/10/scania-tow-truck-wrecker.html Instructions for the tow-part only are available for download at his website :) However, very nice moc.
  22. Instructions can be found here: http://www.freespace.com.au/filehosting/605909 (found link on his MOCpage as stated in the first post)
  23. Lovely model and a beautiful movie!
