35, 310 Clone Troopers assembled to raise money!
Corvus replied to Stauder's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Whew. I saw the first pic and thought, what the...? They're pilot torsos! Then I read the thread... phew. That's a lot of LEGO, and it's for a good cause- what a good combination! -
Oooh....perty. MM likey. Especially the yellow one, and the SNOT is just great. Kinda cramped seat, isn't it?
-
Wow! Now that's something. That'd make a great addition to any town. What's with the bird flock on the left side of the windmill, about the same level with the Limited Edition? Don't tell me they're going to get hit by the windmill!
-
I've been lobbying for warning labels on those things, but noooo, will anyone listen? Great job on the vignette, I like the cabinet and the 'shoes' on the bottom, nice touch.

Must...remember...lessons... Soy no intelligente.

I'd guess you're just imagining it. why would TLC bother with making a shorter lightsaber, with all the new pieces out. Besides, if they did, they'd gripe about all the work they're putting in and jack the prices up even higher. (Note to TLC- I am actually very happy about the new peices. Please don't raise the prices higher.)

Moved more things outta the house to the storage facility in preparation for... gulp... the big move. My dad isn't just a packrat- he's a packrat of really heavy stuff. We moved about 20 beer barrels (empty ), 14 lottertub plates, a ski-chairlift, and a bunch of other stuff out from under the deck... ugh.

This has been posted before, but I think this is worth it. This is such a great stopmotion, now we just need to challenge them to do it with the new Falcon. Threepio with a Segway!
-
Yay! Condors! They're sissybirds, but they're just huge, aren't they? What kind of camera do you use? What millimeter lens do you have? I just got a 75-300 mm lens for mine- niiiiice.
-
You know, this might not be a good time to tell him that he doesn't actually have a mother... Great job, looking forward for #1!
-
ARG! That's a good idea! I should've done that! Anyway, Good shots! I like the effect of the blurred background. What did your parents think of you bringing all the lego with you?
-
Sure. It'll be a great show. There's always plenty of wildlife to take pics off. Fish, birds, beavers, moose, and the occasional fuzzy thing in the distance....but mostly mosquitos. That reminds me, wish me a mosquito free trip! (Pfft. At an Improbability Factor of two to the power of Infinity minus one...) Oh yeah, how 'bout EB news comes along? I'm sure you'll be able to interview plenty... how about a bear? (Insert Deinonychus' smiley here)

Yes, I would take it out and build it, but I'd be really careful with the box... What difference does it make if you're looking at an unopened box or one that's carefully been opened? Makes no difference to me- I'm not gonna sell it. I'd much prefer to see the beautiful LEGO set in 3D than an 2D cover on an expensive box. Plus it's a waste if it's not taken out and cuddled, like it was made to be? How would you like it if you were kept MISB in... Let's keep that as it is. EDIT: Bump...

Hawaii? I think we'll be cancelling the vacation this year...

Happy Tyrant Day to you Happy Tyrant Day to you Happy Tyrant Day dear DS... Happy Tyrant Day to you.

I'm not sure. I don't do the PAB that often. What else are they gonna do with them, though?

Well, title says it all, I'm off for about two weeks. I'll be going to the Nushigak river, Alaska, for a fishing trip with my dad, with a side tour to Denali. This is the fifth year or so, but this year's different- 1. We have a snazzy new cook building 2. I'll be able to use my SLR camera, along with the new 75-300 mm lens I ordered last week. Why the camera? Well, even though I'm horrible at fishing, It's alaska- eagles, bears, caribou (oh my!), and best of all, this guy: The Steller's Sea Eagle. Rare there, only a few in Alaska, but I will get him (or her)! So wish me luck, good weather, and eagles! (And beer, of course. It's a fishing camp, what do you expect??)

I don't know, I kinda agree with Rat-Tail, the Sheep-stormtroopers are kinda...gulp...scary. Great job, guys. I love the use of the flowerbed window piece and the vacuum cleaner... is that blood? I don't remember any in the film.

Congratulations ImperialShadows and KimT

I like the "Go here to congratulate them" line. Makes it look like we have no choice. Congrats, guys! You rock! -
Hmm... I'm assuming they'll put the clones in the PAB for a lot of money.
-
That is simply great. I have nothing else to say. I'm glad you guys won- that's so awesome! more? (Edit: whoops, missed the above... ) ... What? What a strange, strange little boy.

I'm dissapointed in you for two reasons: 1. There isn't enough green ( ) 2. DS and his cats aren't standing in a rowboat or something in your first pic. 3. Where has grunts gone? While I do miss the green, this is a great start. I like how you took the big honkin' boat piece and really built up over it, making it look a lot less like a big, ugly part. The torpedo tubes are great. Did you get the idea from the old PT boats? Can you at least add a bigger green flag?
-
I like it, but there's no other word for it than stubby. How many figs does it have? Two? Three? Jedi?
-
Wow, that goes waaaay beyond "The glass is half full." Man, that sucks. Glad everyone was allright. What are they going to do? Repair it? Buy a new house? No, what's really ironic is that the last house I lived in caught on fire because of a wooden fire plug... Don't know who thought of that... (Only damage was a wooden board)

Whoof. Sometimes I'd just like to devote my time (but mostly money) to one theme, because from the Star Wars, Agents, and who knows what else I have no money for this... But dang, it's such a beautiful set.
