I'm suprised- you live in the US. No car is "too big". I do agree that some are too big, but not all of them are. Take a look at the new gas station and the 50 year brick sets- those are still small cars. I think having a passenger seat is cool, but turning the car into an eight-stud wide monster is way too big.

Hmm, I was looking at the V-19 torrent, and I noticed something odd about the bow. V-19 Torrent There's one of those bley technic pins with a stop on the end that are used in the Bionicle leg pistons... I wonder what it does, or is it just a greeble? Pretty weird for a greeble.

My lego hasn't been dusted in...well, a long time. Let's just say that it has it's own distinct eras. This layer is from when it was here, this one, from when it sat under the table et cetera, et cetera. I don't ask my mom to clean them up for me, since I have my 'system', *cough*, and when she does decide to clean up for me, she usually wears shoes. Lego on floor vs. shoe= big pile of bricks.

Make sure you use natural light. I don't, but...y'know... It's a lot easier than a setup, let's say that. Also, make sure you use a tripod. Better yet, take a look at Jipay's tutorial so you don't have to listen to me.

"They call me SIR TIBER!!" Darn, now I have to get rid of my cool castle one. I have a good idea for a sig, but the setup is out of commission...in a box. In a storage unit. See ya, castle month.

Faces of Hawkeye, Trapper, Radar, Frank, Hotlips, and Col. Blake from M*A*S*H would be excellent. I tried my hand at it...It was embarrassing.

There was a contest? I don't remember it. Was it before my time? Really? Wow. I wasn't expecting anyone to even look at it. OK: Funniest: Horrifying: Sirnadroj. I mean, it's an oil pit. I just know somebody's gonna have a few too many "ice creams" and toss a match down... Original: Hinckley. The fact that he actually kept any Galidor is just...impressive. Or should this go in horrifying?

Hey, thanks guys! I tried making another head today, still turned out terrible. I might have to make a request for heads and legs in the Decal Request thread... I plan to make Trapper, Frank, Radar, and Hot Lips as well, and possibly Col. Blake. I just need to read a few tutorials in applying them. Now that's giving me a very nice idea. For now the figs are enough to focus on. If I can tackle that milestone, I'd really like to try making some tents. I actually used the pic from the tutorial, since I wasn't sure how to draw the torso to the right proportions, so I copied and pasted that.

I've been wanting for a while to make a few M*A*S*H lego characters, so I pulled up Paint.NET and tried my hand at a torso. So, here we have Hawkeye, with bathrobe: I was fairly pleased with it, so I went on to make a face...It was a disaster. So I still have a face and legs to do. I was thinking of Brassoing the new Russian Army torsos from the Indie line. They'll make nice fatigues.

*Flickr check* Wow, you have some nice stuff in there. This is a wonderful rebuild. The greebles and the missile-launching mode folding are great.

Very good. A nitpick on the bookcase color: The black color you're using for the bookshelves seems a bit off. Brown shelves seems like a more traditional choice. Is there any particular reason why you've chosen black?

10179 Millenium Falcon size problems solutions
Corvus replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looking at your post just told me that I made no sense whatsoever. I meant something else. I forgot what it was. EDIT: Ha, I remembered. Seeing as it's above the TV... Oh, dear. -
If they did, it would have to be much more <insert that tiresome argument>, which I think would take all the coolness out of it. TLC has tried to force a few themes into sets, TC is an example, but also take a look at a few others. The new space sets were modeled after the old sets- and they worked. It all depends on who does it. It could be a complete disaster, but it does have an interesting new direction in it, which I think TLC needs to try.

Bantha GlueTM: The Toughest Glue On Tattooine. Something tells me that this isn't very safe. Still, they said the same thing about most of my temporary fixes. (I.E., duct tape, fishing line, Et cetera )It does look pretty cool, though I'd have the nose pointing upward. -
Iron Man... Just like everyone says, the best superhero movie yet. Really good.

Aaw, how cute. It's great, but you should try beefing up and re-coloring the legs. They don't completely fit. Again:

Good episode. Slapstick comedy...You can never mess that up. What were the three new mini-figs? I only see one, or two. I need help. -
Aaaw. Somebody drew all over my picture.
-
Procrastinaaaatioooon! Somebody give him a new title. Fear shall keep him in line.
-
I'm afraid. Really, really afraid. Still, I'm just glad he doesn't have title powers. If he did... I don't want to think about it. Congrats, 'shadows!

Would it be possible to start up a new thread, sometime in the future? The TIE thread is too good to be gone forever...
-
Ah...Mandalore. Too bad we're here on business. I remember the old tapcaf we used to go to. Wish we could go. *Too all members. The thread war is over.* So...Shall we go have a buy'cese? Oya! Bal kote, darasuum kote, Jorso 'ran kando a tome. Sa kyr 'am Nau tracyn kad, Vode an.

Now now, you'll still be around the forum, just a click away, you know. Thanks! Now for the next step, try to make a life-size one. Thats...I'm tempted to say we can do it, but I see his point. We do have good posters here; they know what to post, and if they don't, their fellow posters usually stop them, but he's right- It'd really just be running on trusting the members to check each other, and it is a lot of work running the thread (see IS's post), and we really can't ask an admin to step out of their way to police the thread for us. But, I do think we should try to figure it out first. If not...

Crap. Anyone have the feeling that the teacher's leaving the room? How are we going to run the thread without Vader leading? We've lost two critical members in a week! Hmm, maybe we can scam someone into joining, and if not we can throw some TIEs at them! Imperialscouts: I think you've done a good job 'leading' the Rebels, good luck in the wide galaxy ahead of you. Think...retirement on lovely Alderaan, for a short time, anyway. Vader: You've ran the Empire well, you really managed to act out...yourself(?)...well, and I hope you'll stop by EB every once in a while for some choking...
